Vliv literárních cen na mediální obraz oceněných knih (2012) / Impact of literary prizes awarded to the media image of books

This diploma thesis researches the impact of a literary prize on the media image of the awarded book in 2012. More precisely I pursue these awards and winning titles: Jaroslav Seifert Prize (Vladimír Binar: Číňanova pěna), Jiří Orten Award (Vratislav Maňák: Šaty z igelitu), Josef Škvorecký Award (Kateřina Tučková: Žítkovské bohyně), Magnesia Litera - The Book of the Year (Michal Ajvaz: Lucemburská zahrada). First I analyse the change of the quantity (the number of references and the share within the text), then I focus on the modification of the journalistic assessment of the title (on the scale positive - neutral - negative). In first case I use a quantitative analysis of media content, in the second case I use a comparative semiotic analysis. My sample are these Czech periodicals, in alphabetical order: A2, Aktuálně.cz, Hospodářské noviny, Host, iDnes.cz, Lidové noviny, Literární noviny, Reflex, Respekt, Tvar. The main output is a discovery, how the Czech print and online written media reflect the results of the literary prizes, also I (try to) determine the media power of each award.

The thesis is focused on setting land prices according to the rules of valuation and market price (the current). Selected lands are placed in non-structural locations and locations designed to be constructed at selected stages of landscape planning. Based on gained results was made evaluation of how various stages of landscape planning affects the current price and also the administrative price. The thesis also explains the cause of the difference and way how it affects the price of invested land.

The main objective of this thesis is to describe the methods of valuation and on the basis of selecting valuation methods prepare their confrontation. In the diploma thesis is valued ten of family houses in Telč and its surrounding, which are compared by the following methods: coast approach, comparative public notice, comparative non-promulgation method and price at present time. Part of objective this thesis is describe to the main influences acting on the standard price in the area of Telč and its surroundings.

This thesis is focused on possibilities of financial valuation of flexible pavements surface layers conditions, in connection with whole life cycle of the pavement and certain possibilities of their maintenance and repairs, in cases of defects and failures from forensic engineering point of view. There were carried out analysis of the topics connected with judging of flexible pavements surface layers defects and failures related to forensic investigation in the Czech Republic, as well as abroad. In this thesis there were created pricing models of the certain construction works which are related to repairs and maintenance of flexible pavements. Within the possibilities of the author, there were compared market prices of the particular construction works in selected regions with the prices according to generally used pricing systems in the Czech Republic. The goal of this thesis is to create unified methodology for amount of damage financial valuation in cases of defects and failures of flexible road pavements surface layers for forensic engineering practice in the Czech Republic.

Generally, the issue of valuation of listed buildings has been long discussed, probably because here more than anywhere else depends on perspective on the price of real estate, the purpose for which the price is to be determined and the type of price or value to be determined or set. The goal of this thesis is to make an appraisement of a specific non-standard realty, using both the market value method and the determined value method. The realties of interest are: The Lukavec chateau, the memorial of Antonín Sova and the chateau park including utilities and landscaping. The first part of the thesis is mainly focused on the problematics and methodology of calculating the market value based on collation to the comparable realties. The theoretical part of the thesis is analyzing the problematics of appraisement of the heritage listed realties, non-commercial realties, non-construction lands, permanently overgrown lands, brownfields, cemetery realties and the genius loci phenomenon.

The diploma thesis deals with czech literary prizes in 21th century. It creates typology of present literary awards in the Czech republic. It deals with State national award for literature, Award of Jaroslav Seifert and Magnesia Litera in detail. For these three prizes it lists their characteristics, history, the winners, the jury and the voting system. Medial reflection of the particular year is presented for each induvidual award for the period 2000-2013. The diploma thesis deals with the trends and phenomenons of these three selected awards. These trends and specific phenomenons are compared each other at the end.

In the practical part of the thesis my main aim has beeen to choose the real estate that can be valued by the real estate income method, to establish the detected value according to the public notice 445/2017 Sb. and to establish the market value, which will be set with several other real estate.

This thesis is aimed at the topic of economical evaluation of environmental goods, namely at estimating willingness to pay utilizing the hedonic price model. The theoretical part describes the impact air pollution has on the environment and human health. Methods of evaluation are also discussed with special attention on the hedonic approach. Goal of this thesis is to evaluate the impact of air pollution by applying the hedonic model to the real-estate market in Prague, thus giving the authorities a basis for their air pollution management.
