Skidding technologies risk assessment: evaluation of soil erodibility based on forest typology

Vymětalová, Zuzana January 2014 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to find optimal skidding technologies for different terrain, soil and typological conditions with a respect to soil erosion. The work is based on the soil erodibility evaluation. The layer of soil which would be potencionally left bare after the stripping by the forestry technique is investigated. We considered possibilities of extending the use of forest typological units as a tool for forest soil erosion assesment. The indisputable advantage of this system is that there are the entire map data for the whole area of the Czech Republic. It enables us to use of geographic information system (GIS). The territory of the Training Forest Enterprise "Masaryk Forest" at Křtiny serves us as a framework for the research and a source of soil samples. These soil samples were laboratory analysed and resulting values were statistically tested and used for modelling in the GIS. The Modified terrain classification was used to define the optimal skidding technology.

Efektivní trasování cest v objemových médiích na GPU / Efficient GPU path tracing in solid volumetric media

Forti, Federico January 2018 (has links)
Realistic Image synthesis, usually, requires long computations and the simulation of the light interacting with a virtual scene. One of the most computationally intensive simulation in this area is the visualization of solid participating media. This media can describe many different types of object with the same physical parameters (e.g. marble, air, fire, skin, wax ...). Simulating the light interacting with it requires the computation of many independent photons interactions inside the medium. However, those interactions can be computed in parallel, using the power of modern Graphic Processor Unit, or GPU, computing. This work present an overview over different methodologies, that can affect the performance of this type of simulations on the GPU. Different existing ideas are analyzed, compared and modified with the scope of speeding up the computation respect to the classic CPU implementation. 1

Analýza dýchacích cest předčasně narozených dětí na základě MRI a CT dat / Airway analysis of prematurely born babies based on X-ray CT and MRI scans

Lázňovský, Jakub January 2020 (has links)

Vilímová, Veronika January 2018 (has links)
Master’s thesis DNA markers for bacterial infection diagnosis engages in matters of pathogenic bacteria that cause urinary tract infections and in matters of diagnostic methods for this bacteria with focus on the usage of DNA probes. The aim of this thesis was to find, design and test suitable DNA probes by using quantitative Real-Time PCR. Probes were designed based on specific bacterial sequences of 16S rRNA gene fragment. Afterwards, testing and optimisation of Real-Time PCR was conducted. Successful optimisation was managed for two probes out of twelve – one for S. aureus, second for P. aeruginosa. These results represent the basis for the follow-up experimental work to ensure improvement and reproducibility of the experiments.

Mucha, Ondřej January 2017 (has links)
The thesis discusses the rural roads and their structural and technical condition. In this thesis, I focused on a specific field road near the village Tasov in the Region Vysočina. In the first part of the thesis is theoretically described retrievals distribution infrastructure and regulatory requirements for vehicles that can move on me. The second part of the thesis is focused on the design field roads that are being built in the Czech Republic. The thesis deals with concrete to field roads, which were built in the village Tasov, to which adjoins a section dealing with the difference between the then norms and standards that apply today. In another part of the thesis deals with disagreements specific field roads to the norm and the project, which was used for their preparation. In the last part of the thesis is procesed trough discussion analyzing the results that were found on rural roads in the village Tasov.

Obnova zaniklých cest- tratí mezi Moravou a Dolním Rakouskem / Restoration of vanished roads and railways connetcting Moravia to Lower Austria

Chlupová, Jana January 2017 (has links)
The project deals with the restoration of the railway connecting Hevlin and Laa an der Thaya. The renovation of the railway station in Hevlin is divided into individual stages. The first stage consists of conversion of the Art Nouveau expedition building in the museum. In the next stage a platform will be built and adjacent sites will be re-arranged. An important step at this phase is the roof construction for the future expedition building. The roofing will serve for summer cultural events or markets. This new utilization will benefit from free flat space of the platform. The last step is completion of perimeter walls and the building will serve as a railway station. After construction of bridge the railway connection between Hevlin and Laa an der Thaya will be reopened. Another railway between Brno and Vienna will be created as well. The aim of the study is to strengthen relation of neiborougs from South Moravia and LowerAustria.

Péče o dýchací cesty u hospitalizovaných na JIP očima samotných pacientů / The care of the airways in the patients hospitalized at the unit care in view of patients

Klozová, Ivana January 2016 (has links)
Introduction:The management of patients with a tracheostomy tube is still current. It brings stress situation not only for the patients but also staff who care for them. This issue occurs across all disciplines. The aim of this study was to determine how they feel patients at the care of the tracheotomy while hospitalization of the intensive care unit. Methodology: The research was carried out during 2015 and 2016 at the surgical intensive care unit. The group of respondents consisted of patients with established tracheostomy tube. 80 pieces were distributed questionnaires, 73 patients responded return reached 91.25%. Results: The investigation showed that the comprehensive care of a tracheostomy for patients burdensome and unpleasant. Everyone clearly stated as the most annoying and most exhausting bother them forced to cough. 90,41% of patients reported that their aspiration meets at regular intervals to be able to prepare this fact. All of the respondents perform respiratory physiotherapy and 67.12% felt that they benefit. 95.89% of respondents suffer from a sense of social isolation. 82.19% would welcome the presence of a psychologist at the ICU. Group 80.82% think that it is adequately cared about their tracheostomy during hospitalization and all have the possibility of alternative communication.

Zpoplatnění vodní dopravní infrastruktury v EU / Charging of inland waterways in the European Union

Horynová, Dana January 2017 (has links)
Continuous growth in transport performance leads to deterioration of the transport infrastructure and there is also a need for states to raise funds to cover the costs of repairs, maintenance and modernization of this infrastructure. One option is to charge users of such infrastructure. In the Czech Republic there is a system of charges only for the use of road and rail transport routes. There is no charging of waterways in the Czech Republic, but it exists in some european countries. This diploma thesis deals with the issue of the charging of waterways in the European Union and thus points out the existence of an alternative possibility of financing expenditures for repairs, maintenance or modernization of the transport infrastructure serving the Czech water transport. The first three chapters contain the theoretical background, focusing in particular on the importance of freight water transport and European policy. The other chapters include an analysis of the established charging system for waterways in Germany. Subsequently, the total revenue from the charging of users of waterways for freight transport is calculated. From this analysis, the thesis is also based on the creation of a model for charging the Elbe waterway in the Czech Republic. After creating the preconditions for charging the Elbe waterway, the potential revenue obtained by this charging was also calculated and compared with the average annual cost of repairs and maintenance of watercourses in the Czech Republic.
