The dissertation deals with potential energetic saving in cow milk cooling. The theoretical part contains an information about cow milk and refrigeration systems for milk cooling. Measuring in laboratory conditions was performed with the aim to collect a sufficient quantity of measured data for the qualified application of flat-plate coolers in measuring under real operating conditions. The practical part measuring in real operating conditions was implement in a farm. The practical part examines milk cooling using milk flow-through plate coolers and from the values obtained it formulates conclusions and recommendations for practice.

Part of the work is the evaluation of the results and benefits of the work.

This is fulfilled by using of suitable oil cooler and by optimization of the air duct. Computational Fluid Dynamics approach – namely Ansys Fluent software package is used for it.

The topic of this diploma thesis is to design water chiller for ceiling cooling system. The thesis is divided into four main parts. The first part deals with the theoretical description of emitting cooling systems. The following part focuses on the theory of refrigerating systems and describes especially the thermal cycle and refrigerants which are used in cooling systems. In the third chapter refrigerating equipment are described. Compressor, heat exchangers and expansion valves belong to the main parts of refrigerating systems. The final chapter is devoted to the draft and selection of components of the refrigerating system.

The diploma thesis deals with possibilities and subsequent proposal of individual measures to achieve the reduction of energy intensity in the company fischer Vyškov, s.r.o. At the beginning of the thesis is the analysis of the current state of the areas on which the work is further focused. These include the production of compressed air, cooling technology and lighting. The main cost-saving measures for the production of compressed air is a proposal to purchase a new compressor. For cooling, there are free cooling options, including the design of a dry cooler and its inclusion in the cooling circuit. The last part is the design of a new lighting system using LED lamps.
