The topic of this diploma thesis is CFD simulation of flow inside CO2 semi-hermetic reciprocating compressor Stream manufactured by Emerson. The goal of this thesis is to analyze critical points inside the compressor with regard to excessive entrainment of oil by flowing refrigerant by means of CFD simulation using ANSYS CFX. Simulation for both single-phase and two-phase flow is part of the thesis and results from them are analysed.

The topic of this diploma thesis is to design water chiller for ceiling cooling system. The thesis is divided into four main parts. The first part deals with the theoretical description of emitting cooling systems. The following part focuses on the theory of refrigerating systems and describes especially the thermal cycle and refrigerants which are used in cooling systems. In the third chapter refrigerating equipment are described. Compressor, heat exchangers and expansion valves belong to the main parts of refrigerating systems. The final chapter is devoted to the draft and selection of components of the refrigerating system.

Diploma thesis deals with the problem of refrigerant cooling needs for air conditioning systems of buildings. Summary focuses on the theoretical basics and the physical nature of refrigeration and air conditioning technology. The consequences of split unite on microclimate in the room was experimentally tested and simultaneously investigated happenings associated to its activity. The aim is to unify the theoretical and experimentally obtained facts and apply them in the designing of air conditioning units. Design of air conditioning systems builds on my bachelor thesis, "Hot-air heating of gym", which subject was the ventilation system of gym.

The dependence of the cooler bypass factor of air handling unit on its capacity is the main issue of the experimental part. The aim of practical part is to design the air-conditioning device using knowledge of experimental part and compare it with the proposal of air-conditiong device in my bachelor thesis.

The subject of this diploma thesis is to apply the knowledge of thermodynamics when designing parameters of the train air conditioning unit. In the first part, the issue of air conditioning technology, basic types of cooling circuits and description of individual components are outlined. Furthermore, there is an overview of groups of refrigerants and their labelling. In the second part, a calculation of the heat load of the train unit for the limit design conditions of summer and winter operation, including the application of humid air theory are to be found. There is a basic procedure for designing the main components of compressor cooling, which is almost exclusively used in train applications, outlined. The last part contains the procedure for calculating the gains/losses in the distribution channels of the real air conditioning unit M7 and the evaluation of the results. In the appendix, there is an SW in MS Excel program, which can be indicatively used to calculate the total gains/losses of the distribution channels on any air-conditioning unit before the air enters into the train unit.

In the thesis there are mentioned various types of devices using the source of low-potential heat for heating. The main part of the thesis is the design of the heat pump cooling circuit. In this section, individual components are designed, the calculation and comparison of the heating factor for different operating parameters is performed. Finally, the construction of the coolant circuit and the air exchanger is designed.
