Elementy obcojęzyczne w polszczyżnie potocznej młodzieży polskiej (na przykładzie grupy młodzieży z Pogir w rej. wileńskim) / Elements of foreign languages in polish colloquial speech of polish youth

Ivanuškina, Olga 14 June 2006 (has links)
This paperwork is based on microsociolinguistic research perspective. Speech material was recorded in group of eight young people during nonofficial endurance. The main objective of this paperwork is detail analysis of foreign elements used by Polish youth and presence of their functions in communication process. There were used two research methods: questionnaire and tape-recording of speech during meetings, which topic was religious issue. One part is dedicated to citations (interferences) – elements from foreign languages included into Polish syntax context, which lack any designators of adaptation of grammar and phonetics. In case of classification of citations grammar criteria was accepted as overriding. On this basis all foreign interferences were classified according to parts of speech. The other part of this paperwork presents inputs of longer expressions into speech, which in literature are defined as code switching.

Hôtel Pacifique - "det stilla hotellet" : Översättning av en modern franskkanadensisk pjäs med åtföljande analys och översättningskommentar / Hôtel Pacifique – “the peaceful hotel" : An annoted translation of a contemporary Québécois play

Johansson, Karin January 2020 (has links)
This essay is based on my own translation from French to Swedish of parts of the play Hôtel Pacifiqueby the Québécois author Fanny Britt. The purpose of the essay, apart from creating a text performable in its target language context, is to discuss and analyze the specialized nature of translating drama. The essay also aims to provide new perspectives on Québécois French and problems related to translating language varieties. The spoken word is the focal point: i.e. the lines of the drama and the characteristic oral features of Québécois French. Newmark's communicative translation method is used as the main translation principle. The method proves to be compatible with the text type despite certain exceptions. The result was a modern Swedish play with colloquial and idiomatic language. However, in order to determine if the text is performable, the drama must be presented on stage, which is a future goal.

Эргонимы-реплиĸи в современном городсĸом ономастиĸоне (оценĸа и фунĸционирование по данным эĸсперимента) : магистерская диссертация / Conversational ergonym in the modern urban onomastic space (evaluation and functioning based on the experiment)

Темникова, Е. И., Temnikova, E. I. January 2021 (has links)
This master‘s thesis devoted to the study of conversational ergonym with respect to their functioning in the modern urban space. In the second chapter, based on the material of the studied group of nominations of various cities of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan (192 units), a multidimensional classification of conversational ergonyms is presented, conducted on different grounds. The third chapter of the dissertation analyzes the results of a survey conducted by the method of linguistic interviewing (13730 responses-reactions).
