[pt] Esta dissertação é construída a partir da leitura das crônicas de António Lobo Antunes. Por condensarem as forças estéticas que atuam na vasta obra literária do Autor, as crônicas configuram-se como dispositivos ficcionais que apontam para a sociedade contemporânea global, e traçam retratos do panorama político português dos últimos anos do século XX. Tendo sido publicadas, em jornais, revistas, sites da Internet e, sendo reunidas posteriormente em livros, as crônicas do Autor adquiriram notável circulação, o que garantiu ao seu projeto literário uma imensa visibilidade. Com isto, alguns dos tópicos de interesse público trabalhados pelo escritor, como por exemplo, a guerra colonial em Angola e a desmontagem progressiva do projeto colonial português, articulados a questões ligadas ao mal-estar e à experiência da vida contemporânea, no âmbito privado, dão conta de uma espécie de esvaziamento da vida pública, um dos sintomas que marcam a nossa condição histórica e, simultaneamente, particulariza a sua escrita. / [en] This dissertation is constructed from the reading of António Lobo Antunes´s chronicles. For condensing the aesthetic forces that act in the vast author´s literary work, the chronicles configuring itself as fictionals devices that point to the global contemporary society, and trace pictures of the portuguese political scenery of the last years of the twentieth century. Having been published, in periodicals, magazines, Internet´s sites and, lately being organized on books, the author´s chronicles acquired notable circulation, and it guaranteed to his literary project an immense visibility. With this, some of the topics of public interest worked by the writer, as for example, the colonial war in Angola and the gradual dismount of the Portuguese colonial project, articulated to questions linked to the malaise and the experience of the contemporary living, in the private scope, point to a kind of weakness of the public life as symptoms that mark our historical condition and, simultaneously, distinguish his writing.
