Kompetence lektora cizích jazyků / Competencies of Foreign Language Teachers

The submitted diploma thesis deals with the competencies of a foreign language teacher. It develops the specifics of the lecturer's work in the field of language teaching with regard to the current economic and socio-cultural context and the diversity of the language services market. It analyzes theoretically and conceptually focused sources developed mainly in the European Union. The thesis contains an analysis of concepts of competence, from a sociological, psychological, political and economic point of view. An analysis of the current state of language education and the characteristics of entities in the language services market is also presented. The thesis offers an up-to-date classification of teaching competencies, which takes into account current trends in the socio-economic life of society. The developed model of competencies can serve as a reference point for political actors in the standardization and regulation of the profession, as well as for language schools and teachers themselves in raising their professional level. Based on the performed theoretical analysis, it proposes a broad view of the foreign language teacher as an important social actor, whose activity transcends the boundaries of language teaching and includes a much more complex influencing of desirable social changes....

Gesellschafterkompetenz in mittelständischen Familienunternehmen

Die Corporate Governance Diskussion der letzten Jahre hat die Verantwortung der Unternehmensführung in den Mittelpunkt gestellt. Für mittelständische Familienunternehmen bedeutet dies, dass sie sich nicht nur ihrer Management-, sondern auch ihrer Eigentümerverantwortung bewusst werden müssen. Mit der Entwicklung von Gesellschafterkompetenz könnten sie ihrer Eigentümerverantwortung gezielt nachkommen. In der Praxis lässt sich dahingehend jedoch eine kaum systematische Vorgehensweise beobachten. Die Kompetenz der operativ tätigen Gesellschafter wird zwar wahrgenommen, spezifische Maßnahmen zur Entwicklung von Gesellschafterkompetenz werden jedoch kaum ergriffen. Dies gilt insbesondere für die nicht-operativ tätigen Gesellschafter und die Familienmitglieder, die ihre Gesellschafterrolle erst zukünftig wahrnehmen werden. Diese sollten nach der hier vertretenen Ansicht ebenfalls vorbereitet werden, indem sie in eine systematische Entwicklung von Gesellschafterkompetenz einbezogen werden. Uplatnění osobnostního zřetele ředitele školy v oblasti vedení lidí / Applying of personality traits of headteacher in area of leadership

Final thesis describes to what extent the current school practice puts attention to personality qualities of headteacher in area of leadership. The topic is based on the experience, knowledge and abilities that use the present headmasters of elementary schools in practice. The aim of the work and selected combined investigation using methods of "shadowing" of structured and unstructured interviews and a questionnaire survey was to describe the extent to which personal qualities headteacher of elementary schools appear in contemporary educational practice in area of leadership. In the theoretical part, the author focused on gathering information from a wide resource that can provide a wider range of these areas (psychology, leadership, self-management, self-esteem, etc.). These were mainly the vocational literature on leadership, human personality and competencies. An important contribution was a personal meeting and interview with Mr. Prof. PhDr. Z. Helusem, DrSc. (interview captured in the theoretical part), which anchored the personal qualities mentioned as one of the prerequisites for a successful life and being a human in personal and professional life.
