The master’s thesis deals with the importance of marketing a construction company in participating in public procurement. The master’s thesis analyses the construction company Imos Brno, a.s. The work is aimed at following and describing the instruments of marketing communication tools in particular construction company. Then it deals with the assesment of their current state and with a plan of its optimization in the context of public procurement.

The diploma thesis creates a marketing strategy proposal for a synergistic construction product for a selected company. Through theoretical knowledge, research is conducted that defines the main direction and target segments of the marketing strategy. Based on these attributes, market analyzes are conducted that lead to the mapping of potential opportunities and risks by which the process of launching the new Timbex building system is proposed

Building contains of reception, offices, meeting room, restrooms and lock rooms for employees, elevator and workshops. There is underground garage in the basement. Building is going to be situated in Stritez u Policky. Building takes up 1088m2 of land. Vertical structures are mainlymade of concrete and brick blocks. Horizontal structures are made of reinforced concrete panels, roof structure is made of wooden trusses.

Building industry is the activity that is very sensitive towards market and economy swings. Their impacts significantly influence the attitude towards evaluation and prize in the building industry. Construction companies are affected by economy swings. Therefore, in my master’s thesis, I analyze different approaches towards their evaluation and also methods of the prize determination.

The thesis includes business intention of construction company in the form of a feasibility study. Planned company deals with the realization of timber-framed buildings that are built by hand directly on the construction site. The introductory part describes basic knowledge of the investment projects planning. One subchapter shortly describes the timber construction system. Parts of the business intention are oriented on corporate strategy, marketing, production technology, manpower, economic a financial analysis and risk management. In conclusion is an overall assessment of the project feasibility.

In this work we will deal with financial analysis of construction company and design possible solutions for stabilization. In the theoretical part of this work we will first focus briefly on the basic issues of macroeconomics, microeconomics, economic situation, especially in construction and perceive financial analysis of company. Based on this knowledge we will analyze a specific company and will draw possible solutions enabling us to achieve a profit or at least overcome the crisis period. For financial analysis will be the part of this work used primarily horizontal and vertical analysis ratios and analysis of financial statements.
