This thesis deals with the risks, insurance and the related insurance contract. The risks and the insurance contract is described in connection with the building project.Part of the thesis analyzes the selected insurance companies operating on the Czechmarket. The practical part is concerned with case studies of selected business entity and the building project with the subsequent evaluation and recommendations.

Att nå effektivitet, en bra kostnadsbild och hantera den växande frågan gällande minskad belastning på miljön är viktiga delar i dagens byggprojekt. Att välja totalentreprenad som entreprenadform kan vara ett sätt att nå detta. För att bland annat hantera brister med denna entreprenadform kan man istället använda sig utav den relativt nya metoden ECI (Early Contractor Involvement). Metoden bygger på att få tillgång till entreprenörens kunskap tidigt och att gemensamt kunna angripa de utmaningar projektet står inför. Detta ställer höga krav på relationen mellan parterna. Syftet med denna studie uppnås först genom att visa att tidigare studier konstaterar att ECI bidrar gällande aspekterna effektivitet, kostnadsbild och i viss mån även till miljö- och hållbarhetsarbete, att fördelsfaktorerna överträffar nackdelsfaktorerna och att metoden är att föredra kontra en traditionell totalentreprenad. Sedan genom en surveystudie med en webbaserad enkätundersökning hos beställare, entreprenörer och projektörer/byggledare på en SME-byggentreprenörs (små och medelstora företag) marknad baserad i Stockholm. Här erhölls information om att ECI i det stora hela bidrar väldigt väl i aspekter kopplade till effektivitet och kostnadsbild och väl gällande miljö- och hållbarhetsfrågor kontra en traditionell totalentreprenad. Även information om att fördelsfaktorerna överträffar nackdelsfaktorerna på marknaden erhölls här, vilket stämmer överens med tidigare studier. Det kunde även konstateras att relationsbaserade faktorer är oerhört viktiga i ECI. Implementeringen och skapandet av ett gemensamt engagemang med tydliga ramar framhävs i de rekommendationer för ECI som lämnas i slutet. / Achieving efficiency, a satisfactory project cost and dealing with the growing issue of reduced impact on the environment are important parts of today's construction projects. Choosing design and build contract (D&B) in your project can be a way to achieve this. A way to manage shortcomings with this form of contract, you can instead use the relatively new method ECI (Early Contractor Involvement). The method is based on gaining access to the entrepreneur's knowledge early on and being able to jointly tackle the challenges the project faces. This places high demands on the relationship between the parties. The purpose of this study is first achieved by showing that previous studies state that ECI contributes in terms of efficiency, project cost and to some extent also to environmental and sustainability work, that the benefit factors outweigh the disadvantage factors and that the method is preferable to a traditional D&B-contract. Then through a survey study with a web-based survey of clients, contractors and designers/construction managers at a SME-construction company’s market (Small and Medium Enterprises) based in Stockholm. Here, information was obtained that ECI, overall, contributes very well in aspects related to efficiency and project cost and well regarded environmental and sustainability issues versus a traditional D&B-contract. Information showed that the advantage factors exceed the disadvantage factors on the market, which is then consistent with previous studies. It could also be stated that relationship-based factors are extremely important in ECI. The implementation and creation of a joint commitment with a clear framework is emphasized in the recommendations for ECI that are provided at the end.

A Modelagem da Informação da Construção (Building Information Modeling - BIM) veio ajudar a modernizar a indústria da construção civil. No Brasil, com a instabilidade do mercado AEC (Arquitetura, Engenharia e Construção), o BIM se torna um diferencial para as empresas que optam por este processo. São várias as opções de uso para construtoras e sua abrangência corre por todo o ciclo de vida da edificação. Através de revisão bibliográfica e estudo de caso dentro de uma construtora, o presente trabalho visa mostrar as possíveis aplicações do BIM dentro do canteiro de obras, identificando as barreiras para sua aplicação plena. A partir do material de estudo levantado e de survey aplicada a funcionários da construtora estudada, são realizadas propostas de uso da Modelagem da Informação da Construção durante a fase de execução do empreendimento, ou seja, durante a obra. Apesar de serem propostas baseadas em casos de uma empresa de porte e bem situada no mercado, procurou-se generalizar de forma a que distintas construtoras possam se identificar e tirar o máximo proveito dos estudos e conclusões aqui apresentados. / The Building Information Modeling (BIM) is helping to modernize the construction industry. In Brazil, faced with AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) market instability, BIM becomes a differential for companies that opt for this process. There are several construction options for builders and their use throughout the lifecycle of the building. Through a bibliographic review and case study within a construction company, the present research aims to show the possible applications of BIM in construction site, identifying the barriers for its full implantation. From the study material collected and survey applied to employees of the construction company studied, proposals are made to use the Building Information Modeling during the execution phase of the project, that is, during the construction. In spite of being proposals based on cases of a company of size and well placed in the market, it was tried to generalize so that different constructors can identify and take full advantage of the studies and conclusions presented here.

本研究主要在建立1996-2008年間建商的存活預警模型，探討眾多危機事件中對於建商存活的影響力分析。研究所稱建商包括「建設公司」以及有從事建設業的相關公司。在台灣地區位屬火車頭角色的建設業具有舉足輕重的影響力，但其營運的財務槓桿較其他產業高，營運狀況易受景氣波動的影響，因此在事件的產生時對於投資者、銀行的應變處理便顯得相對重要。 危機事件所指除了證管會、台灣經濟新報資料庫的危機認定外，另加入財務之外的事件研究並加以定義。存活預警模型的建立是先以各種事件的相關性分析以了解各種事件的顯著性，並且量化分類後的影響事件，再進行羅吉特分析與存活分析的比對，選擇較適模型與影響力較大的危機事件進行實證分析。研究實證結果如下： 一 危機事件越多，建商經營越不穩定，存亡事件產生機率越高；影響公司存活的共通因子對於公司危機產生的共同預警變數有一定程度上的共通性，且都具有顯著性。 二 本研究將危機事件分類為財務面、監理面、經營面，存亡事件選定有終止上市、全額交割股、掏空三種。經實證後得知，財務面之外的預警變數亦能提供投資人及銀行產業了解公司經營的穩定度。在眾多預警變數中，又以重整、紓困跳票違約、董監事改選對於終止上市影響較大；對全額交割股的影響則以董監事改選、警示股、景氣因素以及利益輸送影響較大；對掏空的影響則以重整、警示股、財務結構較具顯著性。 三 存活期間與存活機率相關性比較中，以景氣預警變數而言，若產生全額交割事件，則產生存亡事件的機率非常高，公司得以存活期間較短。以重整預警變數而言，公司重整後，產生存亡事件的機率非常高，也就是說公司得以存活的期間較其他預警變數短。 四 景氣循環對於建商經營有非常大的影響，不景氣時產生具顯著性的危機事件，將會在較短期間後產生存亡事件。 / The goal of our study is establishing the survival model in the building construction companies during 1996-2008. The real estate developers in this study included “building construction companies” and the “property stock companies” which operate building construction businesses. Building construction companies are common known as a pivotal role in the power of influence by the general public, but the financial leverage is higher than other industries. Operating condition of construction companies is effected by the real estate cycle; in hence it is relative importance of the investers, banks, which the crisis events occurred. The crisis events in this study are not only the definition of Taiwan Stock Exchange and Taiwan Economic Journal Data Bank but also the events besides financial side. The study of survival model, in the beginning, is to analyze the correlation of crisis events to understand the significance of events, quantify the classified of the entire crisis event, and then to compare the results between the Logistic Analysis and the Survival Analysis. Finally, choose the appropriate model and the more influence crisis events to do the empirical analysis. The empirical analysis results of our study are as follows: 1. The more the crisis events occurred, the more the probability of failure events will occur. 2. Our study classified the crisis events into three different species, financial side, supervision side, business side. We choose company delisting, full delivery stock company, and company emptied as the failure events. 3. Compare the correlation of survival period with survival probability. In terms of company reorganized variable, for example, after reorganizing the building construction company, the probability of failure events are getting higher, and the survival duration get shorter than other crisis events. 4. The real estate cycle impact the building construction companies a lot. If significant crisis events occurred during downturn of the real estate cycle, the failure events will be generated in such a short time.

This thesis deals with monitoring the efficiency of marketing at construction company. The aim of the work is comparing the effectiveness of investments in marketing for the new and regular customers. The output of work is matching of the amount of investments made in marketing in contrast obtaining new and retaining existing customers during achieving the same profits.

The diploma thesis deals how public sector co-opete with private one. The are explain the types of cooperation and the reasons why they are used or not. In the beginning are defined the main terms used later in this thesis, those definitions are based on the datas from the books. The second part, practical part, is focused on evaluation of the respondents’s answers, which have been gotten from questionnaire. There are used also my personal opinions and experience in the practical part. In the final part there is decribed current cooperation those sectors and there are given the recommendations for improving their relationships.

This diploma thesis provides an overview of current trends in firm culture of companies and their context. The theoretical part specifies the field of civil engineering, defines the concept of corporate culture and enriches it with existing approaches to management and determination of the form of corporate culture. The empirical part includes research that identifies changes in corporate culture related to the Y, Z generations on the labor market, and to what extent they meet the requirements of the corporate environment. The result of the thesis is evaluation, SWOT analysis of "millennials" and proposals for solutions.

This Master’s Thesis is focused on the analysis of the company Metrostav a.s. that operated in the construction in the Czech Republick and aboard. Based on the selected methods – SLEPTE analysis, Porter’s analysis, Model 4C and SWOT analysis and further led a controlled interview. Based on the findings, I present appropriate recommendations to the company to improve the current situation.

This diploma thesis “Determination of the economical development of a construction company” deals with conceiving of financial analysis of a particular construction company based on publicly available financial statements. An elementary analysis of balance sheet and income statement is gradually elaborated, followed by an analysis of chosen ratio indicators and overall indicators. The conclusion is dedicated to the company’s evaluation and further recommendations for the future development.

Diploma thesis focuses on the use of modern methods in an integrated management system construction company. The first part is devoted to theoretical introduction of selected modern methods and process management. Describes the possibilities of using the cloud information system and the way of auditing of company processes by standards. In the practical part is introduced monitored company including a description of control mechanisms. The work is mainly focused on the analysis and identification of processes in construction company in selected area of managing the commissions. The final section contains design and implementation of information system and possibility for using of modern methods.
