Molina Castillo, Jorge John Christian 07 April 2021 (has links)
Given these times of constant change and uncertainty, a focal point is needed more than ever to help integrate the strategic perspectives of leaders, to get them to internalize that profit maximization is no longer the general principle that should govern their business vision. The present business plan of a consulting firm specialized in developing purpose-driven organizations seeks to uncover a core ideology that provides direction, clarity, and commitment, making it the center of any business initiative. Purpose must be both the greatest frame of reference and the greatest source of opportunities for a better company and a better society. The value of this proposal lies in its emphasis on leadership as the main driver for the development of an organization guided by a purpose, leaders with a personal purpose in harmony with the purpose of the company manage to transmit by example to the entire organization the commitment to a shared purpose. This coupling between a core ideology and purposeful leadership is the key to the value proposition. The importance of this business plan is not only present in its demonstrated economic viability but also in the contribution it makes to the understanding of the development of organizations driven by a purpose in order to awaken initiatives and alliances that seek to put into practice and make reality the benefits posed by the prolific research of recent years. Creating sustainable and profitable companies in these times is a great challenge that requires a vision of the company as a new social scenario where human beings have the opportunity to manifest their deepest nature, the purpose in the company is an example of this. / Trabajo de investigación

”Distinguishing features of visionary non-profit organisations”

Berry, Regan 30 June 2005 (has links)
The researcher undertook exploratory research to see whether characteristics of visionary organizations, as discovered in research undertaken by Collins and Porras (2000), are present and applicable to non-profit organizations in Gauteng, South Africa. The characteristics are: - a core ideology (core purpose and core values) - big hairy audacious goals - a cult-like culture - purposeful evolution and continuous self improvement - management continuity - alignment. A schedule was used to interview directors of ten non-profit organizations. Some staff in each organization were given a questionnaire to see whether their answers correlated with the director responses. The research indicated that most characteristics are present, to some degree, in the non-profit organizations. These characteristics could however be explored more thoroughly in further research. The research includes recommendations for management of non-profit organizations to implement, to become visionary organizations. / Social work / M.A. (Social Work)
