El objetivo de este documento, que sustenta el trabajo de tesis titulado “Ecolodge en Urubamba”, es explicar los conceptos utilizados en el desarrollo de este proyecto y el proceso por el cual se llegó al resultado obtenido. El proyecto desarrollado en esta tesis es un ecolodge (establecimiento de hospedaje que se desarrolla en un ambiente natural). La finalidad de la arquitectura debería ser adaptarse al medio ambiente inmediato teniendo en consideración las características del usuario y las del medio ambiente a intervenir, buscando aprovechar en lo posible todos los factores positivos que brinda la naturaleza. Todo esto no sería posible de llevar a cabo ni plasmar en el proyecto propuesto sin llevar a cabo una investigación sobre la arquitectura bioclimática (relación arquitectura – medio ambiente), para luego poder crear una estrategia de diseño que nos llevarán al producto final. Además, un punto muy importante fue el análisis de los antecedentes históricos de la arquitectura del lugar, ya que de estos se sacaron los conceptos a utilizar en el proyecto. Asimismo, existe la preocupación tanto por su entorno histórico como natural. También, se buscará una reinterpretación de la arquitectura cusqueña (inca/colonial) no buscando una copia literal sino revalorando algunos elementos de este tipo de arquitectura para el entorno actual; representada por estos. Finalmente, con la propuesta de este ecolodge se pretende además difundir un nuevo tipo de turismo en el Perú (ecoturismo), que combine el confort con la naturaleza. / The objective of this document, which supports the present thesis titled "Ecolodge en Urubamba", is to explain the concepts used in the development of this project and the process by which the result was obtained. The project developed in this thesis is an ecolodge (accommodation establishment that takes place in a natural environment). The purpose of architecture should be to adapt to the surrounding environment, taking into account the necessities of the user and those of the environment dealt with, seeking to take advantage of all the positive factors that nature provides as much as possible. All this would not be possible to carry out or translate into the present project without doing proper research on bioclimatic architecture (architecture - environment relationship), in order to then be able to create a design strategy that will take us to the ending product. In addition, a significant point was the analysis of the historical background of the native architecture, since the concepts used in this project were derived from the historic ones. Also, there is the concern for both its historical and natural ambient. Additionally, a reinterpretation of Cusco architecture (Inca / colonial) will be sought after, not looking for a literal copy but rather revaluing some elements of this type of architecture for the current environment; represented by those. Finally, with the proposal of this ecolodge it is also intended to spread a new type of tourism in Peru (ecotourism), which combines comfort with nature. / Tesis

Un Centro de Interpretación de Cultura es aquel equipamiento arquitectónico que promueve la investigación, conservación, divulgación y puesta en valor del objeto que lo constituye mediante la revelación del significado del legado cultural o histórico a través de la interacción del público con la información expuesta en cada ambiente que lo conforme. Mediante el presente proyecto de tesis se presenta la propuesta del Primer Centro de Interpretación de la Cultura Cusqueña, proyecto que nace de un previo análisis de la problemática y la fijación de objetivos, y del estudio del lugar donde este se emplazará, para lo que se buscaron referentes existentes a nivel mundial y nacional. Posteriormente, se procederá con el análisis técnico del lote, y con la programación arquitectónica del proyecto. / A Cultural Interpretation Center is an architectural equipment that promotes the research, conservation, diffusion and valuing of the object that composes it by the revelation of the cultural or historical legacy meaning from the interaction between the public and the information that each room provides. This thesis project presents the proposal of the First Cusco’s Cultural Interpretation Center, the project was born of the problem analysis and the goal setting and the study of the possible project location which was achieved by the study of the global and national references, to continue with the technical analysis of the area and the architectural program of the Project. / Tesis

El proyecto del “Museo del Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Fiesta Cusqueña” busca desarrollar un tema poco usual dentro de la tipología de museos, tomando como objeto de colección al patrimonio inmaterial, que es rico en la ciudad del Cusco. Se emplaza en un terreno próximo al área histórica de la ciudad cuyo entorno esta edificado por arquitectura contemporánea de baja calidad; al cual este proyecto pretende, mediante su imposición, regenerar este importante sector de la ciudad; así como, a través del diseño, recomponer parte de la trama urbana perdida. Por otra parte, la accesibilidad al futuro Museo es muy buena debido a su cercanía al centro histórico y a diversos usos culturales importantes de la ciudad, entre ellos la universidad nacional, dos colegios emblemáticos y varios institutos privados. La propuesta tiene por cometido reforzar la identidad local a través de la conservación del patrimonio inmaterial, reto de diseño que se cumple materializando lo inmaterial, cobijando lo inmaterial, o mejor dicho, considerando que la inmaterialidad del espacio arquitectónico pueda ser correspondiente a la producción cultural inmaterial. Espacio con identidad, patrimonio inmaterial contenido en un museo. Espacio de difusión y preservación de actividades sociales tradicionales. De este modo, se pone énfasis en generar espacios versátiles para el desarrollo de actividades urbanas tradicionales que han perdido su lugar por la dinámica urbana en los últimos tiempos; así como las plataformas culturales, constituyen uno de los aportes de este proyecto. / The project of the "Museo del Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Fiesta Cusqueña" seeks to develop an unusual theme within the typology of museums, taking as an object of collection intangible heritage, which is rich in the city of Cusco. This Museum is situated in a land close to the historic area of the city whose surroundings are built by contemporary architecture of low quality; this project aims, through its imposition, to restore this important area of the city; as well as, through the design, recompose part of the lost urban plot. On the other hand, accessibility to the future Museum is very good due to its proximity to the historic center and several important cultural usages of the city, including a national university, two emblematic schools and numerous private institutes. The purpose of the proposal is to reinforce the local identity through the conservation of the intangible heritage, a design challenge that is fulfilled by materializing the immaterial, sheltering the immaterial, or rather, considering that the immateriality of the architectural space can be corresponding to immaterial cultural production. In this way, emphasis is placed on generating versatile spaces for the development of traditional urban activities that have lost their place due to urban dynamics in recent times; thus, cultural platforms are one of the contributions of this project. / Tesis

Esta investigación estudia las influencias musicales y las etapas que la Escuela Cusqueña indigenista afrontó a partir de una revisión que indaga en los sucesos que afectaron el desarrollo de la música en Cusco durante los periodos virreinales, decimonónicos y los primeros años del siglo XX. Este enfoque prioriza a los eventos históricos debido a que el indigenismo musical cusqueño se proyectó sobre las expresiones populares consolidadas en un extenso proceso sociocultural. La investigación está estructurada en 3 capítulos. El primero corresponde a la revisión de las raíces indigenistas en el Virreinato del Perú. El segundo estudia la aparición del preindigenismo durante el periodo republicano del siglo XIX. El tercero aborda a la Escuela Cusqueña desde la difusión del movimiento indigenista a comienzos del siglo XX. / This research studies the influences and stages faced by the Cusco indigenist school in the first half of the 20th century, based on a review that examines the viceregal period, nineteenth-century and the first years of the twentieth century that impacted the development of music in Cusco. This approach prioritizes the historical events due to the fact that the Cusco musical indigenism was projected on the popular expressions consolidated in an extensive social and cultural process. The investigation is structured in 3 chapters. The first one corresponds to the revision of the indigenist roots in the Viceroyalty of Peru. The second studies the most immediate roots of the preindigenismo in the republican period of the 19th century. The third discusses the music development since the dissemination of the indigenous movement in the early twentieth century. / Tesis
