Modelování vládních výdajů a endogenní zdanění v modelech nového Keynesiánství : případ České republiky / Modeling of government spending and endogenous tax rates in New Keynesian models : the case of Czech Republic

Zelený, Tomáš January 2012 (has links)
The topic of fiscal policy has been long neglected in terms of fiscal policy's interdependence with other main macroeconomic variables. Presented thesis therefore analyses the validity of different fiscal policy models for the case of Czech Republic. Dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) framework is used throughout the thesis. Different fiscal policy rules are put into otherwise identical - benchmark - model and the models are compared to each other and to the benchmark model. The analysed fiscal policy models are an acyclical, counter- cyclical, two pro-cyclical and dichotomous spending models. We find that the most plausible fiscal policy rule is of pro-cyclical type and closely follows the model of Alesina et al. (2008). The model assumes that interest groups can steal part of government income through corruption and voters cannot observe it, so they demand maximum fiscal spending in the good times. The logic of this model is in accordance with the current state of fiscal and economic behaviour in Czech Republic.

Next, the four main theoretical concepts, which are crucial for the understanding of arbitration, are outlined. The last part of the chapter contains the advantages and disadvantages of arbitration, which explain the popularity of (international) arbitration. The next chapter deals with the legal regulation of international arbitration in the Czech Republic. It opens with a brief description of development of arbitration throughout Czech history and then is divided into sub-chapters dealing with specific elements of...

Statické a dynamické charakteristiky lingvopalatálního kontaktu českého /ř/ / Static and dynamic characteristics of the linguopalatal contact of the Czech /ř/

Pavlíková, Miriam January 2013 (has links)
An unique Czech fricative thrill - /ř/ - was studied mainly by Dr. Hála and Dr. Chlumský in the first half of the twentieth century. The methods employed were rather simple and the experiments were done on limited sample size. We decided to revisit and extend the results with electropalatography (EPG). Four female and three men participated in the experiments that were based on reading aloud voiced and voiceless /ř/ in various contexts. We dedicated a short part to dynamic characteristics of /ř/ and focused predominantly on the area of linguopalatal contact. We described the points of linguopalatal contact during /ř/ with adjusted anteriority index (CA). The possible factors affecting the CA are discussed. We scrutinized the differences in CA depending on selected factors for the whole group and each participant. The data suggest that thrill /ř/ occurs in the alveolar area. Anteriority index was chiefly dependent on voicing /ř/, type of the read material and also differed among various speakers.

Makroekonomické determinanty vývoje úvěrů v selhání v České republice / Macroeconomic determinants for non-performing loans dynamic - the case of the Czech Republic

Doutnáčová, Jana January 2013 (has links)
vi Abstract The thesis investigates the linkages between macroeconomic performance and banks loans portfolio quality represented by the non-performing loans ratio in the Czech banking system in years 2003-2013. The empirical analysis evaluates how banks non-performing loans are influenced by several macroeconomic indicators such as GDP, inflation, interest rate, unemployment rate and exchange rate. First we investigate loans quality on the aggregate level, next we analyze the quality of loans of households and non-financial corporations sector separately as the macroeconomic variables may affect these two sectors of borrowers differently. Finally the analysis of mutual links is done for different loan categories according to the level of failure also. The empirical results from vector autoregression model and impulse response analysis generally suggest that favorable macroeconomic conditions improve banks loans quality by lowering the non-performing loans ratio and vice versa. The thesis also identifies the feedback effect of increasing non- performing loans ratio on economic performance. Keywords: banks loans quality, macrofinancial linkages, non-performing loans, Czech banking system

Srovnání právní úpravy centrální banky v České republice a ve vybraných zemích Evropské unie / A comparison of the legal regulation of the Central Bank in the Czech Republic and selected countries of the European Union

Vojta, Dominik January 2013 (has links)
DIPLOMA THESIS A comparison of the legal regulation of the Central Bank in the CR and selected countries of the European Union Abstract The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the central bank legislation in the Czech Republic and in selected countries of the European Union. Major focus is on banks' degree of legal independence from the executive power and from potential negative impact of executive power representatives on governance of the institution as well as on monetary policy decision making. The issue of independence is closely linked to monetary stability, especially to level of inflation, where the politicians' excessive influence may result in undesirable fluctuations in the state's economy. The thesis results in a comparison of the banks' legislation and in a positive assessment on the question of selected banks' affiliation within the category of most appropriately regulated institutions. Initial hypotheses about the privileged status of the central bank of the Federal Republic of Germany and its suitability as a template for banks of central Europe's transition economies in the Nineties of 20th century are also positively evaluated. Apart from the key parts of the thesis, i.e. the introduction of theoretical models and works dealing with measurement of central banks' independence in...

Vybrané problémy prezentace české deklinace arabským mluvčím / Selected problems of presentation of the Czech declination for the Arabic speakers

Hassan, Mohamed January 2013 (has links)
This Master's Thesis studies the question of the presentation of the declenation and grammatical cases in Czech targeting Arab native speakers. This represents the most difficult as well as the most important area in Czech grammar. This work mainly focuses on the similarities and differences in typology between Czech and Arabic. The aim is to analyse the methods used in Czech grammar books meant for Arab students and raise their strong points and at the same time find their imperfections to use them as a potential for further improvement of the teaching process. A questionnaire helps us find difficulties linked with learning declension paradigms and Czech grammatical cases in the process of teaching and learning Czech as a target language. The conclusion then offers a number of lingvodidactic recommendations for teachers and authors publishing teaching material for Arab students.
