Vliv odluky na financování církví / Influence of the Separation on Financing of the Churches

Zeitham, Libor January 2020 (has links)
Abstarakt - English This thesis analyses current state of churches financing. Following implementation of the Act of Property Settlement with churches and religious societies, the churches receive state contribution intended for churches' service reduced by 5 per cent from the original compensation amount every year since 2016. The contribution shall be paid out till final termination in 2027. Moreover, according to the Act, churches receive financial compensation for thirty years since 2013. This thesis asks following question: Could the churches be able (after thirty years) to finance their services from the state financial compensation only which they would regularly invest during the thirty years and from which only salaries should be paid in the anticipated level of 2013 valorized since 2019 by supposed inflation. The state financial compensation is supposed to be valorized by the same inflation. The calculations resulted in finding that only the Roman-Catholic Church would prove to be succesfull under given conditions. Due to the fact that churches do not invest the whole state contribution/subsidy excluding salaries (which was the necessary pre-requisite) neither the Roman-Catholic Church would succeed. It doesn't mean that the churches will terminate their activities by that time but structure of...

Jan Štern: Život a dílo v období komunismu i po jeho pádu / Jan Štern: His life and Work In and After the Communist Era

Krejčíková, Žaneta January 2021 (has links)
This diploma thesis studies the life story of czech journalist Jan Štern and analyzes his articles in the magazine "Listy", which was illegal in the former Czechoslovakia until the end of 1989. The main goal is, in addition to the description of Štern's life when he went through the concentration camp, the Prague Uprising and the revolution against the communist regime, to find answers of research questions: "Do the texts encourage the reader to do something specific, if so, to what?", "What is the nature of the texts: descriptive, entertaining, contemplative, reviewing or dictating?" and "What is the focus of the texts, are they of a purely political nature?". The evaluation was based on a combined content analysis of 62 articles from the 70s and 90s of the 20th century and the results show that 74 % of the texts do not contain a direct call or persuasion, 79 % of articles can be described as a contemplation or combination of contemplation and description and every arcticle responds to a political issue. The whole work ends with a conclusion, a list of used sources, theses, a list of appendices, bibliography of used articles from the magazine "Listy" and transcription of interview with Anna Šabatová.

Vztahy ČSR a Maďarska v letech 1918-1939. (Tendence vývoje československo-maďarských kulturně-společenských vztahů v období let 1918-1939) / Relations of Czechoslovakia and Hungary through the years 1918-1939 (Tendencies in the development of Czechoslovak-Hungarian relations through the years 1918-1939)

Pejša, Robert January 2011 (has links)
In its evaluation of the main political and cultural-social tendencies of the Czechoslovak-Hungarian interwar relations, this dissertation aims to introduce a new approach to investigating the forms, shapes and perspectives of relations that in the crucial period between 1925 and 1932 reflected a sphere that was far more significant than the political and economic spheres (these only reflected the current interests of individual policies). This sphere, bringing an entirely new perspective on research of Czechoslovak-Hungarian relations, was the internal level of the Czechoslovak-Hungarian relationship - the relationship between Czechoslovak society and its internal policy regarding activities of the Hungarian minority. In this period, there was a diametric difference between these activities and official Hungarian policy. This dissertation attempts to point out that which has until now been ignored: in terms of internal organization and foreign policy goals, the two states were distinctly incompatible (during the whole period between 1918 and 1939), whereas the internal Czechoslovak-Hungarian relations (the evolving relationship between the majority and minority) indicated that there existed areas and population groups that could have allowed for gradual cultural and social convergence occurring...

Maňkoš, Petr January 2012 (has links)
The dissertation called "The Relationship between the Czechoslovak fascist and fascistoid Parties during in the Period of the First Republic" goes back to the period of the so called First Republic that is generally understood to be the Czechoslovak Republic from 28th October 1918 till 29th September 1938. The dissertation aspires to give the reader an outline of the relationship between the National Fascist Community and other parties having fascist tendencies. On the one hand, the dissertation will present the National Fascist Community as the main representative of the Czech fascism. On the other hand, it will focus on the National League of Jiří Stříbrný and also on the radical parts of the Czechoslovak National Democratic Party. Mutual relations in the Czech fascism were created mainly from this triangle. And other parties show themselves as well in these relations - the National Unity and the National Front. The dissertation will also take account of the personal relationships between Radola Gajda and Jiří Stříbrný. Their personal relationships had a strong influence on the fascism of the period of the First Republic. It will also be important to show how these two persons got to the Czech fascism. Policejní identifikace osob v Československu mezi lety 1918 a 1938 / Police Identification of Persons in Czechoslovakia between 1918 and 1938

Tůma, Lukáš January 2011 (has links)
This thesis is focused on police techniques of identification of persons used in Czechoslovakia between 1918 and 1938. The goal of this thesis was to show, how the police identification of persons should look like, in other words which techniques were used by criminologists, how they described them, which accomplishments and negatives they saw in them, who had to be identified and for which purpose. To answer all these questions I deal with political and administrative context of Czechoslovakia, police structure in Czechoslovakia between 1918 and 1938 and development of criminology, "bertillonage" and documents of identification (especially passports) in the first part of the text, where I mainly use secondary literature. Then I focus on analysis of three main techniques of identification used between 1918 and 1938, namely dactyloscopy, graphology and photography. In this part of the thesis, I use criminology manuals, published in the twenties and thirties. Finally, I work with the fourth technique of identification of persons, namely the description of persons, where I mainly use forms, which are in the criminology manuals. Thus, heart of this work is based on normative documents from the twenties and thirties wrote by criminalists or graphologists. Keywords Police, criminology, identification,...

Přímo hleď! - Životopisná vyprávění příslušníků Československé lidové armády / Eyes front! - Life stories by members of the Czechoslovak People's Army

Kopečný, Ivan January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate the themes and motives that have been obtained on the basis of the analysis and interpretation of the biographical narrative with the members of the Czechoslovak People's Army. Acquired Themes do not only provide a basic insight into everyday life of the soldiers before 1989, but it partly introduces even some negotiation and interpretation of narrators, the possible directions of further questioning, the soldiers used abbreviations and slang words captured in the interviews. In the future most of the topics could be supplemented separately or together , with other sources, to help initiate independent studies related to the force components of the Czech society in the period of normalization and transformation, so in this way the work also represents a kind of elementary "catalogue" that can be used by other students or researchers interested in the issue of the monitored period and profession.

Novák, Jiří January 2014 (has links)

The general principle of the movement was that the Rome had always been our enemy, that the reformation is the very essence of our national identity and that the Catholic Church had been an ally of the Habsburg dynasty. The thesis tries to explore the role of the leading groups of the "transfer movement" (especially Czechoslovak Church, Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren and Freethought) and of the press in Mělník as well as the reaction of the local catholic clergy. The core of the work is based mainly on primary sources (both archive and published). It was found that the transfer movement was rather successful. No violent clashes were reported. Kolektivní biografie parlamentního klubu a vedení SHF/SdP / The Sudeten German party in Parliament. A collective biography of the members of the parliamentary group of the Sudeten German Party and the Karpaten German Party

Zvánovec, Mikuláš January 2014 (has links)
The aim of this work is the interpretation of the available biographical data of all deputies and senators of the Czechoslovak National Assembly, who worked in a joint parliamentary club of the Sudeten German Party (SGP) and the Karpaten German Party (KGP) in the period from the entry of the czechoslovak parliament in 1935 to the Anschluss of Austria in the spring of 1938. The Sudeten German Party became after the elections in 1935 the strongest party in the interwar Czechoslovakia by number of votes and played a significant role in the pre- Munich era. The stated objective of the unification of the entire German population in Czechoslovakia was largely fulfilled, thus the party became very heterogeneous. Using the methods of collective biography the work is aimed at providing all available sources to obtain data on the social and political background as well as on the various political and professional careers of the particular party officials who represented the SGP resp. the KDP in the Czechoslovak parliament and on the basis of these data should the results be put into the historical and social context and their common and different features be interpreted. The work assumes that with the help of this method there can be obtained new perspectives on the development within the SGP, which would be...
