ANALÝZA SVAHOVÉ DEFORMACE ZÁŘEZU DÁLNICE D11 / ANALYSIS OF A SLOPE DEFORMATION OF THE D11 MOTORWAY CUT

This diploma thesis consists of a research and a practical part. The research part summarises the problem of slopes movements. The practical part deals with the determination of the slope deformation causes, at the 76th km of the D11 motorway. Causes determination was based on laboratory tests of soil samples taken from the disrupted motorway cut, made at PřF UK soil mechanics lab. Tests of grain size composition were done, plasticity of the L 26 sample was determined and critical strength of the reconstituted L26 and L27 samples was found out in the Translational apparatus box. Soils were categorized due to the according standards and the acquired data were evaluated. In the BricsCAD software, a well arranged locality situation and the slope deformation crosscut underlayed with the geophysical ERT cut were illustrated. In the GEO5 software, slope stability models were created using the Spencer Method of Slices. The slip surface and the groundwater level during the disruption were determined. The practical part also covers a proposal of a remediation appropriate for this deformation and it's modelling in GEO5. For the remediation, the slope stability level is determined. Vliv dálnice D5 na rozvoj Rokycan / Impact of D5 highway on Rokycany development

Highways building and expressways in general has been taking place all over the world for tens of years. As one of the major advantages of this building up is almost automatically, except an improvement of traffic situation, mentioned the benefit to the regional development in concerned areas. However, there are a few executed studies of highways impact on the regional development and most of them are from abroad. The studies show that presence of highway has a different impact on each region. But, they also warn on the adverse effects of highways on the regional development, especially in the peripheral regions. In those regions highways rather further deepen the disparities between the core and the periphery. The town of Rokycany acts as a relatively strong centre for its hinterland and thanks to D5 highway as a suburban area of the nearby and ten times larger city of Pilsen. The traffic diverting out of the town centre was necessary even if the local shopkeepers can experience a drop of incomes. The local authorities and the major firms welcome the presence of highway.

Research thesis presents an analysis of changes that occurred in municipalities around the motorway D11, after there was opened a new section of motorway at the end of the year 2006, which extended the motorway about 45 km and its total length doubled. New section took over the traffic load from the original main routes heading from eastern Bohemia to Prague and a number of municipalities, which originally lay on unimportant local routes, improve abruptly their traffic location and exposure to the main centres of development. The aim of the work is to determine the extent to which the detected changes in assessed region can be put in connection with the opening of the new motorway section. The changes in the births and deaths of the economic subjects, with a resolution by industry and size category, changes in population growth by migration and changes in the ride to the main centres are examined. The obtained data are transformed into assessed indicators in such a way to minimize the impact of external influences, which needs to be counted with within the research. The evaluation is carried out using descriptive analysis, Difference in differences method and other statistical analyses. This Diploma Thesis deals with Public Private Partnerships (PPP) projects in transportation area in the conditions of the Czech Republic. Theoretical part of the Thesis describes basic rules of project finance, as an elementary part of each PPP project, as well as analyzes key economic, legal, tax and accounting aspects of the PPP projects within the Czech Republic. Practical part of the Thesis describes the development of PPP projects in the whole Europe. Current pilot PPP projects in the Czech Republic are also analyzed. Real PPP project, D3 highway, and its economic availability are being analyzed and evaluated in the final part of the Thesis.

The purpose of the master thesis is the design of the concrete highway bridge by European standards. The highway is situated on two independent prestressed load-bearing structures with cross-section area of constant dimensions over its length. The bridge deck is built on a falsework considering its proportions and obstacles under the bridge. The thesis contains the design and the assessment of the load-bearing structure in longitudinal and transverse direction including the calculation of cross beams and an anchorage zone.

Static calculation is drafted according to European norem- Eurocode. The structure is designed and assessed for limit states temporary and permanent load conditions. And a further is elaborated detailed and well-arranged drawing documentation, visualization of bridge and construction procedure.

The transport infrastructure facilitates the development of national economies not only in Europe but all over the world. Stagnating transport network development, along with stagnating modernisation of such networks caused by a lack of funds and associated with the absence of modern approach and technology within the construction and operation, has a fatal impact on the advancement of trade, industry and, ultimately, the development of the state itself. The dissertation thesis aims to describe and verify the way the heavy road infrastructure development supports the economy of the whole country, regions and economic entities. At the same time, the thesis strives to examine whether the construction completion accelerates the development and building of logistic centres in the vicinity of such big highways, and the manner the commissioning of such buildings is reflected in traffic intensity changes inland and at the borders.
