Faktory ovlivňující délku gravidity u dojeného skotuVintrlíková, Daniela January 2019 (has links)
In my thesis I focused on analysis lenght of gestation of breeding cows in period from 2014 to 2017. Monitoring was on farm in Velké Němčice, where are breed first of all Montbeliard and Holstein breed. There are cross with breed of Jersey, Red Holstein and Brownswiss. Lenght of gestation was influence by series of factors during the watched period. Partial influence on the lenght of gestation had years and month of breeding cow. The smallest lenght of gestation was in summer months, when effect of heating stres was the biggest. The most of lenght of gestation was influenced by breed of breeding cows and line of bulls, that was used to their insemination. Difference of lenght of gestation among individuals breeds of breeding cows and line of bulls used to their insemination was significant. Lenght of gestation was influenced by rank of laktation of breeding cow, sex of birth of calf and twins. From result of monitoring is evident, that lenght of gestation is influenced by lot of factors, that should not be underestimate by breeder.

Délka života, příčina smrti a nejčastější onemocnění malých plemen psů / Life expectancy , the most common cause of death and illness small dog breedsKindlová, Iveta January 2016 (has links)
The dog was domesticated approximately 15,000 years ago. We can find large number of breeds of various sizes, types and colours. Small dogs plays an important role in some cultures, religion or society. Most of them were bred in order to meet specific need. Among small breeds of dogs we find bold and hardy terriers, intelligent and funny poodles and bichon or hunting dogs. Durring the domestication of dogs enormous genetic pressure was developed and it was reflected in the health of dogs.
The aim of thesis was to find out the average life expectancy of small dog breeds and to reveal the most frequent diseases and causes of death. Data were obtained from 441 individuals of different purebred dogs with pedigree, 196 males and 245 females. Data of the health profile of individuals came from the Czech Republic and from abroad. The total life expectancy, life expectancy by gender and breeds, death causes, incidence of the disease during life, or whether castration effected life expectancy were assessed.
It was found that the life expectancy of small breed dogs is 11.8 years. The average age of males and females were differed by about three months. The females lived longer. Statistically significant difference was not found. Quite a lot of individuals (45%) were castrated. Statistically significant differences were confirmed between castrated and uncastrated bitches. Neutered bitches lived for about one and a half year longer.
The most common cause of death of small dog breeds became overall age (34.6%). The second one was cancer (26.3%).
Two hypotheses were set. The first hypothesis assumes that females of small breed dogs live longer than males. This hypothesis was not confirmed. The second hypothesis was that one of the predisposing factors for longevity is a long time exposure of the ovary in the body. Neutered bitches up to 8 years of life and uncastrated females live longer than females neutered before (under the age of 5). This hypothesis has not also been confirmed. It was confirmed, that there is a statistically significant difference between castrated and uncastrated females, regardless of the age of castration. Neutered bitches lived for about one and a half years longer. Further, statistically significant differences between castrated and uncastrated females within the breed were confirmed. For Scottish Terrier breed neutered bitches survived for about five years longer than uncastrated females.

Srovnání kořenového systému hybridů trav xFestulolium s rodičovskými druhyLukášek, Dominik January 2016 (has links)
Rye grass are common considered optimum grass species for intensive agriculture in area with sufficient rainfall, because they provide a high production of quality forage. Unfortunately, they have lack of resistance to abiotic stresses. With heed to the progress climate change, when these stresses will increase, we are looking for genes from better-adapted species of Festuca. Target features are better use of nitrogen and water to attainment high production of forage, increased tolerance to drought and ability rooting compacted layers of soil. These targets lead to research on growth of roots, which are to fulfil the above written targets in award. Following the research of M. Humphreys we are focused on detailed monitoring root growth of three species xFestulolium and their parent species in the early stages of development in our research. They were tested following grasses: Festuca arundinacea (cv. KORA), Festuca pratensis (cv. PRONELA), Lolium multiflorum (cv. MORAVICE) and xFestulolium (cv. HYKOR, HOSTYN and PRIOR). The chosen the method of cultivation in cylinder with sand in outdoor conditions with fertilization in two doses, corresponding to a total 80 kg N/ha. The experiment was performed in two terms: 21. 5. when 23. 7. 2015 and 21. 9. when 11. 12. 2015. In the first term, growth was limited by high temperatures. In the second term were limiting the contrary low temperatures, especially at the end of vegetation. The evaluated parameters were: maximum depth of rooting, total dry root biomass, total root length, root surface, root volume, the ratio R/S, the dry weight of aboveground biomass, maximum height aboveground biomass, number of tillers, number developed leaves, surfaces of the leaves and root length in individual thickness categories. The length, surface and volume of roots with flat leaves, were evaluated through image analysis scans in program WinRHIZO (Regent Instruments, Canada). In most parameters it was the best Lolium multiflorum MORAVICE with xFestulolium HOSTYN. The differences between them are in most of parameters statistically insignificant (outside the maximum depth of root and flat of leaves, where MORAVICE achieved significantly higher values). Anticipated advantages relating to the growth of strong and deep roots in this experiment did not show. The supposed main reason for the termination of the experiment in the early stage of development.

Obvody a obsahy rovinných útvarů / Circumferences and areas of plane figuresŠrámek, Martin January 2017 (has links)
Title: Circumferences and areas of plane figures Author: Martin Šrámek Department: Department of Mathematics Education Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Jarmila Robová, CSc. Abstract: This diploma thesis Circumferences and areas of plane figures is designed for teachers and high school students. Teachers might find some interesting tasks including various metric problems from the field of synthetic geometry as well as inference of mathematic equations for calculation circumferences and areas of plane figures which are taught at elementary schools and high schools. Pupils can appreciate solved tasks and their knowledge can be applied to other similar tasks. The ninth chapter includes more difficult tasks. There are many drawings exported from GeoGebra which can help students to understand the task better. Keywords: circumference, area, length, teaching of mathematics

Vliv fenoménu post-aktivační potenciace na ukazatele výkonu při krátkém sprintu z nízkého startu / The influence of PAP phenomenon on performance indicators in sprint from crouch startHorák, Jan January 2021 (has links)
Title: Evaluation of post-activation potentiation effect on performance indicators of sprint following crouch start Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the influence of post- activation potentiation phenomenon on sprinter step performance indicators following crouch start by using Optojump system. Secondary objectives are firstly - to complile systematic up-to-date review based on recently published evidence, and secondly - to compare acquired results with current trends described in this review. Methods: Fifteen (n = 15) moderate to well trained male athletes completed the experimental procol of controlled sprints (20 m), activation of post-activation potentiation / post-activation performance enhancement elicited by series of squats (3 series, 5 repetition, load of 75 % of 1RM, resting interval 2 mins). Following the activation, all participants completed 1x20 m of sprinting performance from crouch start at 5 min, 10 min, 20 min and 40 min. All measurments were made by using the Optojump system. Acquired measurments were further analyzed and statistically evaluated. Results: Evaluation of acquired data did not result in significant positive effect of activation protocol on measured variables. Furthemore, series of squats were associated with decreased peak velocity and...
