Planetárium / Planetarium

Sokolová, Eva January 2013 (has links)
The master’s thesis object is to create a design of a load carrying steel structure planetarium. Its ground plan dimensions are 36,1 x 49,0 m. The planetarium hall’s roof is designed with system of trusses and purlins. The projection hall’s roof consists of ribbed cupola with radially arched ribs. The stiffness of the whole construction is ensured with bracings. The walls of the whole object are composed of columns, rails and bracings.

Ocelová konstrukce obchodního centra / Steel structure of a business centre

Kočí, Petr January 2017 (has links)
The diploma thesis elaborates on the proposal of a loadbearing steel structure of a shopping centre. Four-storey building has total lenght of 88 m, width 48 m and its base structural grid is 8 x 8 m. The total height of building is 25,4 m. First three floors above ground are designed with structural height of 5,6 m whilst the 4TH floor uses height of 4,0 m. Frame structure is formed by primary beams and castellated secondary beams. Above 4TH floor, the roof structure is designed in two alternative versions, both using solid purlins and truss girder. The 3D computer animation of the building is also part of thesis. The shopping centre that is subject of the final thesis is located in Brno area.

Čtení s porozuměním jako předpoklad úspěšné strategie řešení slovních úloh v matematice / Reading comprehension as a prerequisite for successful strategy of word problems solving in mathematics

Sigmundová, Alena January 2019 (has links)
Reading comprehension as a prerequisite for successful strategy of word problems solving in mathematics DISSERTATION Mgr. Alena Sigmundová ABSTRACT The dissertation describes the results of an interdisciplinary research study examining the linguistic aspects of word problems in mathematics and the connection between comprehension of the text of word problems and the success of their solution. In the introduction the research is set into the framework of theoretical bases: the term word problem in mathematics and the concept of reading comprehension, including factors influencing the understanding of the text are characterized and the results of previous research studies are described. Subsequently the work presents a methodology, course and results of testing of pupils in three pilot studies and in the main survey and the conclusions from the semi-structured interviews. The research is based on the linguistic analysis of 18 word problems with low solution success, taken from international research surveys PISA 2012 and TIMSS 2007, as well as on the level of comprehension of the text of these tasks in the 8th and 9th grade primary schools, modifying selected language phenomena and detecting the effect of these reformulations. 773 pupils from 13 elementary schools participated in the research. The study...

Rekonstrukce železniční stanice Svitavy / Reconstruction of Railway Station Svitavy

Marek, Josef January 2022 (has links)
The goal of this thesis was to design the reconstruction of the railway station Svitavy. The line speed was rised from the current value to 160 km·h-1. New platforms were designed, therefore the railway substructure and the drainage were adjusted accordingly. Also, the effective length of the main tracks was extended to 740 m.

Analýza přesnosti výsledků astronomického určení polohy / Accuracy Analysis of Astronomical Positioning Results

Jalovecký, Martin January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of results accuracy of astronomical positioning. It describes observation methods and the latest surveying systems used in geodetic astronomy. Further in the thesis there is the description of surveying system MAAS-1. Subject of the elaboration is the data obtained by measuring with this system. Testing is focused on digital camera. There is also an analysis of the results of geographical coordinates, depending on the accuracy of determining the angled pixel size and also on the accuracy of the input coordinates.

Likvidace biotických škůdců prostřednictvím EMW záření / Disposal of Biotic Pests by EMW Radiation

Sobotka, Jindřich January 2015 (has links)
The possibility of using high-frequency electromagnetic radiation in the construction sector is a common knowledge. Various experiments have been carried out to dry construction materials, or even to destroy biotic pests. However, the majority of these experiments have been executed in laboratory conditions. It means they have been carried out under exact limiting conditions, often very far off those conditions in real building practice. Therefore, this dissertation aims at exploring the possibility of utilizing microwave technology in drying and heating of construction materials, in disposing of biotic pests and sterilizing building materials under real conditions in building practice. The thesis will explain that microwaves are a term given to a part of electromagnetic radiation. Electromagnetic radiation is based on the principle that the radiated energy is absorbed by water molecules present in moist building material. In the mass of the irradiated material, the radiated energy is transformed into thermal energy, where a so-called “motion” of water molecules occurs with the energy then being transformed into kinetic energy. The microwave technology itself offers a very wide range of use, which can be easily achieved, thus making the technology available to use in the future. Part of the experiments and the necessary measurements, too, has been carried out on selected types of building materials in the premises of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Brno University of Technology. They have been executed under conditions which most closely correspond to the conditions in real buildings. Part of the experiments and the necessary measurements were carried out on particular constructions, by the so-called in situ method. As stated in the conclusion of the dissertation, laboratory measurements and the in situ measurements differ considerably in some cases.

Studium možnosti optimalizace vlastností alternativních tepelně izolačních materiálů na bázi přírodních vláken / Study of possibilities of optimalization of properties of alternative thermal insulating materials on natural base

Břicháček, Pavel January 2014 (has links)
The presented work investigates the mechanisms of propagation of heat and moisture in the structure of heat-insulating materials based on natural fibers. The main aim of this work is the experimental verification of theoretical patterns, which are involved in the transport of heat and moisture in fibrous materials, especially the influence of fibers thickness and density of the fibrous materials. To widen outputs of the work were selected different kinds of natural fiber materials of vegetable and animal origin. The results of the work should help to optimize the production processes of natural insulation materials considering their optimal thermal properties. From the data collected are deduced general conclusions to better understanding the behavior of these materials.
