There are series of competition battles emerging in present day while companies are recovering from last economic crisis. These battles are for customers. Take financial market for example -- it's quite saturated. Most of people do have some financial product since their birth date. Each one of us has insurance and most of us have at least standard banking account. It is imperative that insurance companies, banks and such firms have needed information about ourselves, for us to be allowed the use of these products. As the time passes we change the settings of these products, we change products themselves, buy new ones, set their portfolios, go to competition, even employees and financial advisors who take care of us do change over time. All of the above means new data (or a change, to say at least). Our every action specified leaves a digital footprint in the information systems of financial services providers who then try to process these data and use them to raise the profit using various methods. From the individual company's point of view is customer (in this case a person who has at least one product historically) unfortunately tracked multiple times due to the above changes, so this person actually seems like multiple persons instead of one. There are many reasons behind this and they are well known in common practice (Many of them are named in theoretical part). One of the main reasons for this is a fact that data quality was not a priority in past. However, this is not the case of present day and one of the success factors when it comes to spoiling client base portfolio is the level of quality of information that are tracked by companies. Several methodologies for data quality governance are being created and defined nowadays, although there is still lack of knowledge of their implementation (not just in the local Czech market). These experiences are well prized but most of internal IT departments are facing lack of knowledge and capacity dispositions. This is where great opportunity emerges for companies that use accumulated know-how from various projects that are not quite frequent in individual firms. One of such company is KPMG, Czech republic, LLC., thanks to which this work was created. So, what is the purpose and field of knowledge that is covered on the pages following? The purpose is to describe one such project concerning analysis and implementation of chosen tools and methodologies of data quality in real company. Main output is represented by a supporting framework as well as a tool that will help managers cease administration and difficulties when managing projects that concern data quality.

The thesis deals with electronic communication through data mailboxes. It provides the legal framework that regulates this kind of communication and how to work with data mailboxes as a business entity. The theoretical part is about issues and defining basics concepts, legal framework and ways how to work with the data mailboxes. The practical part is devoted to the company, which uses the data mailboxes to comunicate with authorities and also with clients. Based on consultation with users is evaluated what pros and cons brought them this news and also is quantified their cost savings, which are associated with communication through data mail boxes.

The thesis is focused on mapping issues when creating data networks. Overview solved problems briefly introduces the history and classification networks. Continues characteristics of active and passive parts of the network where it connects certification, ending a general guide for network architects, which can be used to understand the theory of progress in the design and implementation of data networks with regard to its functionality and reliability. This section explaining how the proposal looks like a LAN, which is one of the most widespread types of networks, and most standards it is just related. The practical part is focused on the demonstration of a possible case design, including its economic parameters. The various alternatives are worked out with regard to the choice of materials offered different levels of quality and possible types of treatment for the future. The alternatives are as follows economically analyzed and evaluated.

In order to make a step towards the idea of the Semantic Web it is necessary to research ways how to retrieve semantic information from documents published on the current Web 2.0. As an answer to growing amount of data published in a form of relational tables, the Odalic system, based on the extended TableMiner+ Semantic Table Interpretation algorithm was introduced to provide a convenient way to semantize tabular data using knowledge base disambiguation process. The goal of this thesis is to propose an extended algorithm for the Odalic system, which would allow the system to gather semantic information for tabular data describing products from e-shops, which have very limited presence in the knowl- edge bases. This should be achieved by using a machine learning technique called classification. This thesis consists of several parts - obtaining and preprocessing of the product data from e-shops, evaluation of several classification algorithms in order to select the best-performing one, description of design and implementation of the extended Odalic algorithm, description of its integration into the Odalic system, evaluation of the improved algorithm using the obtained product data and semantization of the product data using the new Odalic algorithm. V ANGLICKÉM JAZYCE The thesis focuses on service of documents in administrative proceedings. At the beginning of the thesis, the used terminology and constitutional framework are defined. The main part deals with the two main forms of delivery, an electronic and a documentary form. Regarding the excessive use of electronic communication in today's society, the electronic form is described in detail. Afterwards, the thesis deals with the issue of the service of documents to foreign countries and defects that may occur during the delivery. Many uncertainties and questions have arisen putting an information system of data boxes and using of data boxes for communication between entities and administrative bodies into operation. The author therefore dedicated a considerable attention to this topic. Attention is also paid to the institute of electronic signature. This institute was adopted in the Czech legislation in accordance with European legislation. Elaborating this thesis, the author used primary legal sources, literature both domestic and foreign origin, and public information sources.

The diploma thesis deals with data quality in connection with legal requirements of the Solvency II regulation, which must be met by insurance companies in order to keep their licences. The aim of this thesis is to consider opportunities and impacts of implementing data quality for Solvency II. All data quality requirements of the regulation were specified and supplemented with possibilities how to meet them. Related data quality areas were also described. Sample variants of manual, partially automated and fully automated solutions with regard to expenditure of costs and time were compared based on knowledge and acquired information. The benefit of this thesis is evaluation of possible positive and negative impacts of implementing data quality for Solvency II taking into account the possibility of introducing data quality across the entire company. General solution variants can be used for decision-making on implementing data quality in most companies out of insurance industry.

The master´s thesis focuses on problematics associated with data backup and storages. It deals with the realistic data backup issue at a real municipal office. Part of the work is a thorough analysis of the current state and suggestions for improvement.

This dissertation deals with the generating of data units at different levels of TCP/IP network model in OPNET Modeler environment. A part of the dissertation is a brief introduction to the simulation environment OPNET Modeler where important components of this comprehensive simulation software are elucidated. The structure of my dissertation reflects individual layers of the model TCP/IP, whereas the function of the process model OPNET Modeler and the data unit used at corresponding levels of TCP/IP is always described. Particular parts of communication models that were created in the simulation environment OPNET Modeler at selected layers of the network model TCP/IP are closely documented in each chapter. Relevant scenarios are described in such a way that they can be later re-arranged by eventual customers.

v anglickém jazyce Legal aspects of electronic communication in administrative procedures The dissertation thesis has two basic parts, the first and largest part offers a comprehensive view on electronic communication with public authorities in the Czech Republic and the possibilities of electronic identification. The second part of the dissertation thesis is focused on legal aspect of personal data protection in electronic communication with abovementioned authorities. In both of these parts, the current EU legislation (e.g. eIDAS and GDPR) is taken into account. The first chapter contains an analysis of basic legal terms and institutes in the area of electronic communication and identification as well as in the field of personal data protection (e.g. data message, electronic signature, authentication, personal data and invalidity of delivery). Detailed analysis of legislative development in the area of electronic communication follows. Particular attention is paid to a launch and operation of the data box information system and legal effects of electronically signed (or sealed) documents. Žáková, A. Use of information provided by database FADN CZ for the management of agricultural holdings. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2017. The diploma thesis deals with the use of information provided by the Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) for the management of agricultural holdings. It aims to propose a possible use of the FADN CZ, which contains much detailed information on agricultural holdings in the Czech Republic. In the diploma thesis is used descriptive and analytical method and method of comparison. The literature review is focused on agriculture, its position in the Czech Republic and a description of the Common Agricultural Policy and Economic Accounts for Agriculture. Subsequently is described the Farm Accountancy Data Network in detail and the possibility of its use. In the practical part there is proposed use of information obtained from the FADN CZ for benchmarking. First of all, the pyramid system of indicators is created. Benchmarks for individual indicators are determined on the basis of the information from the database of the FADN CZ. The proposed methodology is subsequently verified on the selected agricultural holding. Finally, there are proposed recommendations for the Farm Accountancy Data Network and for the farms that use it or plan to use it.
