Kvalitní zobrazení stínů pro složité světelné zdroje / High-Quality Shadow Rendering from Complex Light Sources

V interaktivních aplikacích jsou stíny tradičně zobrazovány s pomocí algoritmu založeným na stínových mapách. Nevýhodou toho algoritmu je, že stínová mapa, reprezentovaná texturou, má pouze omezené rozlišení. To může vést k nepěkným vizuálním artefaktům objevujících se na hranách stínů. Tato práce představuje postup, který je založen na vylepšené deformaci textury. To umožní zobrazit scénu obsahující složité světelné zdroje, zredukovat artefakty na hranicích stínů a také vylepšit kvalitu stínů bez ohledu na typu scény a její konfiguraci.

RNDr. Kristián Mathis, Ph.D., DrSc., Department of Physics of Materials Abstract: Titanium grade 2 was treated by multiple passes of the continuous equal- channel angular pressing technique (CONFORM ECAP) and, after each pass, additionally by rotary swaging. The residual strain field in samples processed by only CONFORM ECAP was studied by neutron diffraction strain scanning. In order to elucidate the microscopic background and calculate the related residual stress field, the local microstructure was thoroughly investigated by various experimental techniques. The microstructure and the deformation behavior of the rotary swaged samples was studied by transmission electron microscopy and by in-situ neutron diffraction during compression. The results of the analyses indicated that microstructural gradients were present in the material as the result of the inhomogeneous deformation during the CONFORM ECAP treatment. These gradients were identified as the main reason of the presence of residual stress fields. This thesis deals with themes of social networks and the current situation in the Czech Republic. The object of this work is to introduce the readers problems, that today's socialnetworks offer. In this work is developed a basic knowledge of interpretation of terms like information, data and knowledge, characteristics of communication and the communication models, and where the information deformation rise. Next part is to devot perception of media in various areas, it's development is captured from inception to the present. Subsequently there are analyzed socialnetworks, which are the core subject of this work. As a last, but not a least, is indicated marketing opportunity. For this work were developer four online questionnaires. The purpose of the questionnaire was to find out respondents thoughts of general concept of information and how to interpret the definition of information according to ČSN. Questionnaires are focused on security of social networks Facebook and respondents action in social networks. The thesis is further developed and evaluated with statistics relating to the current number users of socialnetwork Facebook in the Czech Republic, followed up with global FB usage and usege in Europe. Hereafter is also formulated connection among users of the mentioned networks. The goal of the practial part of this work is to evaluate situation of social networks and their possible further development in terms of the market.

The aim of the thesis is to create an analytical 2D model of a multi-storey building and its consequent loading until the point of collapse which occures due to formation of plastic hinges. The first part is going to present a linear analysis of the problem; it focuses on location and level of load when the plastic hinges are formed. Then a nonlinaer analysis is going to be performed by RFEM programme using postcritical analysis and dynamic relaxation. Differences between the results of mentioned types and methods of analysis are going to be compared and an impact of variables is going to be evaluated .

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of free-form deformations. The main goal of this work were elaboration of theoretical knowledge about this issue and the programming of selected methods od free-form deformations. The first part describes the required spline theory, matrix calculus and free-form deformations. The resulting version shows three programs. The first program compares the selected free-form deformation methods to the example of the 4x4 control point grid. The second program serves as a generalization for the general case of grid of control points. The last program is based on direct manipulation of arbitrary surface point and following recomputation of the control points to obtain demanded shape.

Výzkum v oblasti konstrukčních prvků a dimenzování cementobetonových krytů / Research in the field of construction elements and design of concrete pavements

The presented dissertation is focused on research in the field of dowels and design of concrete pavements using the finite element method. The theory part describes the history and the currently used techniques in the world and in the Czech Republic. The practice part of the dissertation contains a description of design methods, diagnostics of concrete pavements by using FWD and a description of laboratory tests on beams with inserted dowels. The results of measurements and modelling are verified on real operating conditions on testing fields. Based on the dissertation results, the amendment of the Czech standard ČSN 73 6123-1 regarding the position of dowels were proposed and approved. In addition, methodological guidelines of the Ministry of Transport regarding the measurements of the dowels and tie bars position and diagnostic by FWD was approved. The conclusion of the work summarizes and emphasizes the results of the dissertation.

Studium efektu přídavku celulózových vláken na vybrané vlastnosti betonu / Study of the effect of the addition of the cellulose fibers on the selected properties of concrete

This dissertation desribes the behavior of cellulose fiber reinforced concrete. In the theoretical section one can find basic information on cellulose fiber and its methods of production and usage in concrete structures. One can find the information about the effect of high temperature on the mechanical and physical attributes of cellulose fiber reinforced concrete, and also a comparison with other fibers used in concrete based on the research done using scientific literature. Furthermore the details about particular cellulose fibers are provided. In the experimental section the formulas for CHRYSO and GREENCEL concrete are designed. The influence of the addition of various types of cellulose fibers into both liquid and solid states of concrete was researched. Tests were also done on the effect of high temperatures (600 °C and 800 °C) on the firmness and densitiy of concrete, its deformations and visual changes. Furthermore, the resistance of cellulose fibers was monitored by monitoring the development of the pH environment (from pH 4 to pH 12) with long-term deposition of different types of cellulose fibers in these environments.

Vliv vodivých vzorků na vznik deformací vf magnetického pole / Impact of conductive material on RF magnetic field deformation

The work analyses formation of deformations of RF magnetic field within the environment of electrically and magnetically conductive materials. An analytic solution of the problem is created and the problems of numerical modeling are solved. In theoretical way, the work also familiarize with the use of magnetic resonance imaging method - the spin echo method (SE), with its features and possibilities of its use within the aim of the project. This method is used for experimental measurements of electrically conductive materials in the NMR laboratory in ISI AV Czech Republic. Results of the simulation are compared with results of the experimental measurement.
