Česká rozvojová spolupráce: Naplňování principů Pařížské deklarace o efektivnosti rozvojové pomoci / Czech development cooperation: Adherence to the principles of the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness

Ocknecht, Martin January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the range the Czech Republic fulfills the international commitments stipulated by the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness. And, if it needed, to find factors which influence fulfilling of the declaration commitments. This is done by analysis of the documents and interviews. The analysis of the data related to the supplied development aid is the core of the thesis. The aid depends on these key principles: ownership, alignment, harmonization, managing for results and mutual accountability. Two projects of the Czech Development Agency between years 2013 and 2015 in Cambodia and the State of Palestine are analyzed in two case studies. The operationalization of the terms and following own methodical framework application to the output data led to a result, whether the international commitments are (not) complied with. The performed research implies that commitments are fulfilled rather insufficiently in the Cambodia case, whereas the commitments in State of Palestine case were fulfilled completely. A new innovative approach was crucial. The projects are directed by Palestinian partner. In Cambodia, the critical principle is the mutual accountability because of the lack of the capacities (mostly in funding) and unsatisfactory management. There is a...

Žena Bible ve spektru civilizací : Role ženy pohledem českých křesťanek / Woman of the Bible in the Spectrum of Civilizations - How Czech Christian Women View Womanhood

WINSTED, Margareta January 2012 (has links)
This thesis concerns scientific, philosophical and religious views of womanhood. Its main focus is the nature of biblical womanhood, based on the papal apostolic letter Mulieris dignitatem and contemporary studies of American biblists, concerning biblical manhood and womanhood. The practical section consists of qualitative research among Czech Christian women. It examines how Christian women view their role and practically implement principles of biblical womanhood in their family, society and church. The aim of this thesis is not to evaluate controversial issues, such as women?s ordination, homosexuality, or other questions regarding womanhood. Nevertheless, it seeks to explore biblical womanhood in practice, as well as the concerns and struggles of real Christian women. Of no less importance, this research tries to identify how Christian women, who are a minority in the Czech Republic, develop their views on biblical womanhood, the sources from which they draw, as well as the models, which influence them.

Zvyšování právního povědomí u dětí v Jihočeském kraji. / Increasing The Legal Awareness Among Children In Bohemian Region

STANISLAVOVÁ, Lucie January 2013 (has links)
In this thesis I have concentrated on legal consciousness of children but not from their point of view, how it was in most cases of the elaboration of this topic, but from the point of view of people who actually work with children. This regards pedagogues, social workers, further school psychologists and psychologists. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the right, legal consciousness, further then with the important conception ?child?, namely from the point of view of pedagogy, psychology as well as from the viewpoint of law. The thesis deals with morals itself and also its comparison with law, further with the value system and education, on important documents regarding the rights of children, educational program and its focus on the education of law in elementary and high schools. The important section of the theoretical part are also projects focused on increasing of the legal consciousness executed in the Czech republic as well as in the Southbohemian region. 144 respondents from the Southbohemian region took part in the research, either respondents who work in an elementary or high school, eventually in non-profit organizations which work with children. The difference of the opinions between pedagogues nad other workers was found out by the research. In contrast to other workers, the pedagogues think statistically more often that children have the legal consciousness. A very interesting moment is the age since which children should be acquinted with their rights. Other workers consider the beginning of the school attendance (or even the end of the preschool attendance) as the optimal age for familiarising the children with their rights in contrast to the pedagogues who would shift this limit almost to the second degrese of elementary schools. Next founded and documentary fact was the difference in methods used for familiarising children with their rights. The pedagogues combine discussions and lectures as well as model situations. Other workers prefer only lectures and discussions. They vary also in the evaluation of time dotation devoted to the rights of children during school education. Other workers are much more critical than the pedagogues in this regard. It was proved that the pedagogues more often do not know the organizations which deal with the rights of children whereas other workers do. The whole research is assumed into SWOT analysis which determined children´s interest in their rights and their familiarising with the right already since 1st class as the most strong sides. A weak spot showed to be the lack of time in school education devoted to children´s rights together with obtaining the biggest amount of information in the family. A chance is the realization of more new projects focused on concrete spheres of the rights and also the fact that the legal consciousness should be constantly increased. The risk is insufficient knowledge of rights in the sphere of the protection of personality when easy misuse and also insufficient knowledge of rights threaten. The insufficient knowledge could result in the increase of transgressions even criminality.

Stavjaňa, Petr January 2010 (has links)
The aim of this work is to analyse the progress made by Turkey in human rights area and identify how important role of Islam there is. The work attempts to refute the idea that Muslim society is not possible to create a functioning legal system that takes sufficient account of the protection of human rights. Reforms of 20 and 30 years of the 21st century were used as theoretical basis. For the analysis of advances in the field of legislation was used Turkish Constitution as the basic document, which is the most important from the point of view of the European Union. A key part of this thesis is an analysis of current problems in the field of human rights and criticism of the international community, especially the European Union that Turkey must face. The work attempts to identify how important role is played by Islam in the issue.

Postoj Velké Británie a jejích dominií ke konstitucionálním otázkám v rámci Britského impéria v letech 1917 - 1931. / The Attitude of Great Britain and Its Dominions on Constitutional Questions within the British Empire, 1917 - 1931

Valkoun, Jaroslav January 2015 (has links)
This thesis is focused on the analysis of constitutional relations between the mother country and its Dominions. The constitutional problems along with foreign and economic policy formed one of the most significant and interesting chapters in British imperial history. The thesis analysed the formation of the first Dominions, the question of the constitutional position of the Dominions, a gradual change of the then used imperial terminology (the term British Empire vs. the term Commonwealth), and a working of system of Colonial (Imperial) Conferences in connection with the significance of the second influential imperial institution - the Imperial Defence Committee. The thesis deals with establishment of the Imperial War Cabinet, and organising the Imperial War Conference. A constitutional resolution was adopted that once and for all rejected the vision of the federalisation of the Empire and launched post-war discussions on the modification of constitutional relations between individual autonomous countries of the Commonwealth, which culminated during the Imperial Conference of 1921. The circumstances and discussions that accompanied the Chanak Incident, the Lausanne Conference, the British- Japanese alliance, the Imperial Conference of 1923, the Geneva Protocol and the Locarno Pact, all were...

Politicko-geografické aspekty transformace Britského impéria na Společenství národů / From British Empire to Commonwealth of Nations: Political and Geographical Aspects of the Transformation

Bernas, Vlastimil January 2013 (has links)
Diplomová práce Politicko-geografické aspekty transformace Britského impéria na Společenství národů Abstract The masterʼs degree thesis "From British Empire to Commonwealth of Nations: Political and Geographical Aspects of the Transformation" deals with gradual transformation of the British Empire, one of the biggest colonial empires of all time, into Commonwealth of Nations, i. e. into a loose association of the United Kingdom and its former Dominions and colonies. The masterʼs degree thesis aims to profoundly analyze all the substantial aspects of this complicated process, namely in broader (above all in political-geographical, historical and legal) relations. The initial historical chapter describes the origins and the following territorial expansion of the British Empire. The second chapter concentrates on different types of administrative units that existed within the British Empire; a special emphasis is given to Dominions whose creation marked the beginning of the disintegrative tendencies within the Empire. The third part of the thesis examines the key period of the transformation of the British Empire into a looser association of states, which means the events of the first half of the twentieth century, when couple of crucial documents amending the character of the British Empire were adopted. The...

Etický rozměr lidské práce v kontextu svobody a důstojnosti člověka / Labor aspects from the perspective of ethics and Christianity, developing countries workers' protection projects

VLČKOVÁ, Jana January 2012 (has links)
In this dissertation I am analysing certain aspects of labour, especially the ones that are of significant interest to moral philosophy within the church and its catholic doctrine. In the same time I identify the foundation for freedom and dignity of labouring human being that are being degraded especially in the present time economisation process. Further, I outline the issues associated with the changes within the division of labour from industrial revolution to present day and in the same time I present issues connected with labouring human being vs. human capital. Because freedom is the foundation of humanity I also describe issues connected with human rights in the context of universal and natural law. In this way I analyse Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its defence in an intercultural environment. Lastly, besides those theoretical concepts, I evaluate an Amnesty International CR project called "Business That is Worth It" which aims at supporting companies to a responsible management of employees rights protection especially in developing countries.
