This thesis deals with consequential care after release from institutional care and relations between absence of binding person and incorporation of a young adult terminating his or her institutional care into society. The thesis focuses on institutional care, stressing its termination, it suggests changes for improvement and offers an example of good practices from Germany. Also, the thesis identifies the most serious issues of children after institutional care and describes, in detail, consequences of lack of emotional support. Utilizing case studies, the experimental part looks into whether children living in children's home can find a binding person and how presence or absence of such a person can affect their future life.

The topic of my thesis is called Current Questions about Foster Care in the Czech Republic. European Union organizations and UNICEF organizations, due to the information from experts, have been drawing attention to the fact, that there is a high percentage of children under the age of three years living in various institutions. It is therefore necessary for the state to increase the support for substitutive family care. The theoretical part describes the function and defects of a family, psychic deprivation of children, the history of foster care, the institution of foster care and its new forms and other. The target of the research and hypothesis is stated in the practical part. The target of the thesis is an attempt to clarify all the reasons why children live in institutions and why finding a substitutive family for them is difficult. The targeted sample was represented by 110 children from all regions of the Czech Republic except the South Bohemia region. These children{\crq} s collection of documents was forwarded in the second half of the year 2007 to the Regional Council of South Bohemia Region. In accordance with the target of the work following hypothesis were determined: Hypothesis no. 1: Most of the targeted children have serious disabilities. Hypothesis no. 2: The targeted sample were mainly children between 7 {--} 10 years old. Hypothesis no.3: The most frequent reason why children stay in institutions is the fact that their parents are not able to look after them. Hypotheses have been refuted. Dilatelly is treated about family as a natural background of education, which can significantly qualify the relation between the individual and his leisure time. At the end are mentioned problems, which are young people dealing with after leaving the institute, and which are caused in their spending of leisure time.

The aim of my dissertation is to provide a look into the subdeprivation phenomena in contemporary child care institutions (children{\crq}s homes, foster care). The theoretical part is focused on defining of basic concepts related to psychological deprivation, defining of psychological needs of children and psychological deprivation displays. Further, it deals with children{\crq}s homes issues, with some kinds of foster family care and with the unwanted children matter. The practical part focuses on the aim of the work. There are compared three children groups (children growing up in a functional family, children from children{\crq}s homes and children from foster care). There are described the findings that were gained from selected tests and observations. In the end the outcomes were evaluated.

The diploma thesis "Yoga and its impact on the psyche of children and youth in the scope of a charity project" dealt with a current and socially important topic. The introduction explained the importance of this topic and the author's motivation for its elaboration. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical background, the importance of charity and social work, its history and present. The next chapter in the theoretical part was devoted to the concepts of yoga. The historical context of yoga in the Czech Republic as well as abroad was described there. Various techniques and types of yoga were emphasized, including its beneficial effects on physicality and psyche. A separate chapter was then devoted to the 1roces of re-socialization of marginal groups of children and youth along with an explanation of how to use the yoga in this 1roces. In the practical part, the survey has been placed and the respondents were introduced. As part of the charity project, the author of the thesis performed yoga and meditation exercises with children at younger school age. Poverty and material deprivation with focus on seniors in Czechia Abstract The diploma thesis adresses the issue of poverty and material deprivation, which are still very actual not only in developing countries but also in highly advanced societies. The initial information is The European Union Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC) from 2019, supplemented by data from Eurostat and the Czech Statistical Office. The target group was defined as persons 65 years old or over. The main goal of the thesis is to determine the chances of being a poor or materially deprived senior based on selected sociodemographic characteristics, which are gender, age groups, marital status and the highest educational attainment. The core analysis was performed using Binary Logistic Regression. The highest odds of being poor or materially deprived comes from single seniors with basic education. The age categories with the highest chance vary in individual analyses, however, they are always 80-84 years of age, 85-89 years of age or 90 years and older. Concerning gender, senior women always have a higher chance to be poor and also materially deprived than senior men. The diploma thesis Education of children in a children's home with a school in Dobřichovice is focused on the issue of education and resocialization of a child in a facility for institutional education and on the preparation of children for future life. The theoretical part defines the chapters Education, Behavioral Disorders, Deprivation and Stress. They are here as an insight into the given issue, what problems and disorders clients come to the children's home with the school and what the workers encounter on a daily basis. A separate chapter consists of the characteristics of a specific children's home with a school, education and development of the child's personality in this facility. The aim of the thesis was to have informations about a contemporary system of foster care of children, who can't live in their biological families, and find defects of the contemporary and a upcoming system. The theoretical part of the thesis was focused on a biological and foster families, the history of the institutional care and it's also about all the kinds of the foster care. The thesis gave a list of child care options, but also a historical evolution of the care and the failings of the contemporary system. There are a lot of the failings, very important is a financial deficiency, an inflexibility of the system, no good care of a biological family and a deficiency of foster parents.
