Anorexia e bulimia na clínica psicanalítica: uym estudo a partir da obra de Didier Anzieu / Anorexia and bulimia in psychoanalytic clinic: a study based on Didier Anzieu´s works

Garcia, Maria Carolina Cerqueira Cesar 28 August 2015 (has links)
This thesis is based on the perspective that the concepts of skin-ego and psychic envelope, developed by the psychoanalyst Didier Anzieu, bring an important contribution for the comprehension of the problematic of the constitution of psychic limits and boundaries in the disorders of anorexia and bulimia in the psychoanalytic clinic. Taking this as the main theoretical framework for the understanding of these pathological frames, the question of the limits - I/other, inside/outside, body/psyche - is discussed based on contributions from Brusset, Jeammet and McDougall, concerning the necessary conditions for the establishment of the limits within these pathologies. It is undertaken, therefore, a reading of the work of Didier Anzieu, in a way to allow, from the concepts of skin-ego and psychic envelope, the comprehension of the proposition of the author on the limits and boundaries for the articulation with anorexia and bulimia. Finally, we argue that the lack in the function and constitution of the skin-ego and psychic envelope, brings serious consequences to the constitution of the psychic limits in the eating disorders of anorexia and bulimia

A música, linguagem tradutora: a Nota Azul e outros matizes / Music - translating language: the Blue Note and other shades

Pereira, Fernanda Keli 07 December 2018 (has links)
The present dissertation exposes an investigation about the way music can touch the human subject, especially in relation to the Real in lacanian theory, in an experience called the Blue Note by French psychoanalyst Alain Didier-Weill, and examines musical elements which touch the listener in what he/she feels and thinks translating and mobilizing identifications in rational and unconscious level. The work is a theoretical research about music as language, from the Linguistics and Psychoanalysis perspective, showing the way music can talk to a variety of human affections what it is possible to be said and also what escapes from language. The theory of Blue Note talks about this place which is inapprehensible. We use qualitative research, with interviews made with five musicians when they shared their experiencies as music listeners and how they feel touched by it. The data analysis followed the content analysis guidelines by Bardin (2016). The results brought significant data about how music is an aspect of art that tries to understand deep issues about the human subject.

"Like Their Lives Depended On It": The Role of Comics in Subverting Anti-Arab and Islamophobic Discourse

Lawson, Daniel 20 June 2011 (has links)
This dissertation examines the role the medium of comics plays in the construction and subversion of anti-Arab and Islamophobic discourse. It seeks to address the following questions in particular: how does the medium of comics interpellate subjects regarding the Western discursive formation that conflates Arab, Muslim, and terrorist? What does the medium of comics afford creators in subverting dominant discourses that dehumanize Arabs and Muslims? I argue that as a hypermedium in which text and repeated images are in continual tension, comics challenge the sort of foundational notion of truth necessary for dominant discourse. I use a Foucauldian lens to examine several comics in relation to larger discursive formations. In Chapter 1, I explain the problem, my methods, and my theory in more detail. In Chapter 2, I apply this theory as a lens to examine the rhetorical work the medium plays in subverting dominant discourse in Palestine, a nonfiction piece of comics journalism. I use Chapter 3 to problematize the assertions made in the first two chapters by looking at an instance where comics are used to reinscribe dominant discourse. Specifically, I analyze the graphic adaptation of The 9/11 Report. Chapter 4 acts as something of a retort to Chapter 3; it examines In the Shadow of No Towers to interrogate the ways in which Art Spiegelman explicitly addresses not only the issues he grappled with as a New Yorker during and after 9/11, but the complex relations of representation that arose from the event. Chapter 5 I examine how subversion works when a hypermedium is further remediated by analyzing Didier LeFevre's The Photographer: Into War-Torn Afghanistan with Doctors without Borders. The Conclusion is devoted to discussing the implications of this study, both in terms of pedagogy and in terms of theorizing the relationship and differences between image and text. I argue that comics demonstrate the productive ideological tensions that exist between modes of signification (such as verbal and visual). An understanding of this ideological tension is key for scholars of visual rhetoric and hegemonic discourse. / Ph. D.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Beatriz Chacur Biasotto Mano.pdf: 1462970 bytes, checksum: 9f7ffd171c7d3d7a813fb9eb5ff07146 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2012-10-19 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / This thesis aims at presenting a clinical model that we call the Clinic of the Container. As Clinic of the Container we formulate a psychoanalytic perspective in which the focus of attention is shifted to the Ego/Self, taking as a vertex the structure and function of psychic containment. We propose to make the containing structure of the Ego/Self an object of listening and clinical intervention: a listening, sensitive to the effects of its deformations and malformations that invariably arise in the clinic, and to intervene in order to promote changes in the containing structure of the Ego/Self. The thesis proposes the development of some metapsychological and conceptual foundations and clinical concepts underlying the clinical model proposed here: a metapsychological conception of the psychic apparatus from the perspective of psychic spatiality and its relation to the containing structure of the self, and a genetic metapsychology of the self as containing structure. Then we will present, through clinical material, the Clinic of the Container. Along the way, we will make ourselves heirs to Bion and Didier Anzieu / Esta tese tem como propósito a apresentação de um modelo de clínica que denominamos Clínica do Continente.

Noël, Marine 08 1900 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the return to origins in contemporary French narratives. It examines the works of authors who left their hometown or their village and experienced social mobility. It specifically investigates the works of authors who come from post-industrial and non-touristy areas in France: Nicolas Mathieu, Annie Ernaux, Didier Eribon, Édouard Louis and Raymond Depardon. First, this work analyzes what the notion of return in literature implies, especially when French rural life is represented. The study aims to define a poetics of return for each of these texts, focusing on how these books are multi-genre or genre-bending: photobiography and documentary with Depardon, fiction with Ernaux and Mathieu, autobiography with Louis, essay with Eribon. In a second part, we examine the temporality and the geography of return, in particular nostalgia and displacement. This thesis also explores the author, narrator or character’s point of view on their background, as someone who left and changed their social status: the final chapter analyzes how this point of view has shifted, how it is renewed, but also how it can present itself as distant and apart. A creative text follows this research: titled I am sending you pictures of the primroses in the sand, it brings fiction and documentary (which includes photographs) together and reflects on the return gesture within rural areas.

Heidegger et la question du mal / Heidegger and the question of evil

Donnet, Benoît 07 April 2018 (has links)
As he takes to addressing the question of being, Heidegger writes: « Only when we open ourselves to what is full of secrets and full of grace as we do to something that makes us think, are we also enabled to think what we consider as the malignancy of evil. »How is one to understand that the experience of evil goes along with the path of thinking ? Is it not this concurrence alone that can explain why evil seemingly ignores ethical questions ? For one can think of evil beyond mere metaphysics as it is not only a value and overrides the laws of morality. What is, then, the meaning of evil, and what could it possibly mean to undo its domination ? Answering this question necessarily implies to reassess the philosophical, and biblical, meaning of evil, with its incompleteness being asserted as the thinking process begins. Aiming at uprooting the truth of evil out of the Christian morality, marked as it is by silence, one wonders whether the field in which Heidegger sets out to make this task his own in one way or another, indeed involves to remove silence off its special relationship to Christianity ?
