(EN) This thesis is dedicated to the processes of digitization and metadata description, as well as the links that connect them. In recent years, another topic has been becoming relevant for both mentioned processes - the logical long-term preservation of digital objects. Long-term preservation is dependent on metadata and therefore on the processes of digitization, when some important metadata is created. The first introductory chapter of the thesis briefly describes, with an emphasis on metadata, digitization and theoretical and practical problems of long-term preservation of digital objects. The OAIS reference framework is also analysed, since it is the background for digital preservation and present preservation metadata standards. OAIS is also important for the shape and functionality of digital repositories. Metadata is also the topic of the next chapter of the thesis. General metadata use and its development are discussed, with emphasis on administrative, technical and preservation metadata. The following chapter focuses on the use of metadata in the National Library of the Czech Republic. It describes the evolution during two periods leading up to the present. SUMMARY: The aim of the thesis is to define a development and contemporary status of the Central Military Archives as a information system. It describes the entire information cycle of a document from its origin through the deposition at the department of conservation, in the administrative and final archive at last. It shows Central Military Archives and its importance as a significant entity in the field of digitization. Finally the thesis analyses the issues of implementation of the system of electronic record services. [Author's abstract]

The thesis focuses on problem of authorship of the Internet content. It considers the question whether we can analyze the artwork purely as a closed structure of the symbols or whether it is necessary to take work as a broader structure. The first part of the thesis shows the Internet in general and its specifics it as a medium. The second part is devoted to the problem of authorship. It explains traditional view of Nelson Goodman, who examined the authenticity of artwork with regard to the internal arrangement of the elements structure of the object. The third part shows the later theories inconsistent with the views of Nelson Goodman, views of different contemporary authors who present the changes of authorship aspects in the environment which is under constant development, quickly sharing ideas and resources. New theories suggest to look beyond the authorship of the artwork domain, apply broader focous. The conclusion provides a synthesis of these views.

The aim of this thesis is not only to characterise the key terms related to this field, but also to analyse the possible solutions to the area in a particular industrial enterprise in the Czech Republic by means of a case study which is a reliable method of qualitative research. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part the terms such as information, electronic data, know-how, enterprise information systems, cybercrime, and cyberterrorism are defined. The practical part drawing on the theoretical part gives a thorough analysis of the initial state of an industrial enterprise in food industry. Furthermore, it deals with the implementation of the ECM (Enterprise Content Management) which is considered a possible solution to the security of work with electronic data in industrial enterprise.

The topic of this master's degree diploma thesis is the Google Books service, formerly Google Book Search and Google Print. The wider general context is described briefly in the first two chapters. Google company and its portfolio of services are introduced, as well as the latest progress in sharing of information, for example trends as digital libraries and open access. Third chapter presents results of the analysis of the Google Books as the complex system. Mentioned are: a history of the service, Library Project, Partner Program, metadata harvesting, scanning methods, available searching options, all information and functionalities in the individual records, users' participation. Chapter four is focused on copyright law and disputes related to the Google Books. Fifth chapter deals with the usage of the Google Books in the Czech Republic, in the terms of all local activities. Great attention belongs to digitization in cooperation of Google company with National Library of the Czech Republic. Two questionnaires were done for this thesis, between college students and large Czech publishers. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the Archives of the National Theatre in Prague as an information system. The thesis describes the archives comprehensively, from its history to the present form, it describes the process of digitizing and archival websites. In detail, it devotes to its collections. The part of the thesis is the analysis of the methodology of theatre archives and overall assessment of the importance of archives for Czech culture including its role in terms of meeting information needs.

The diploma thesis aims to evaluate the benefits and disadvantages of the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the adaptation, education, and development of employees. First, the thesis will focus on the current development of personnel management in relation to the application of ICT. Furthermore, the thesis will deal with current trends related to the use of ICT in personnel management. The focus will be on ICT in the adaptation, education, and development of employees, as those are activities that are currently heavily influenced by ICT. This topic will end with an evaluation of the benefits and risks associated with the use of ICT in the activity. The thesis will also focus on the ethical aspects of the use of ICT in personnel management. The aim of the quantitative empirical survey will be to analyse the opinions of employees on ICT in adaptation, education, and development. The survey will be done in four IT organizations with more than one hundred employees based in the Czech Republic. This master's thesis is engaged in machine vision, methods of image processing and analysis. The reason is to create application to determine relative positions of Trilobot robots in the laboratory.

The diploma thesis The influence of digitization on the Czech media law and legal environment deals with the transformation of media law and legal environment during the transition from analogue to digital broadcasting in the Czech Republic. The text describes and evaluates change of the broadcasting legislation, and emphasizes not only the actual changes in legal regulations, but also the legislative process and influences that have affected the final text of the laws. In the introduction thesis describes the development of existing legislation, both domestic and the acquis communautaire. In further parts it answers the question how relevant, understandable and conceptual the change in the media legislation was, how these changes correspond to the current technical and organizational requirements of the media market and how the process have been influenced by jurisdictional dispute between Council for Radio and Television Broadcasting and Czech Telecommunication Office. In the second half space is devoted to the licensing procedure of new digital television and following litigation as well as a comparison with Slovak regulatory framework. Regarding the major changes of the legislation the author recommends adjustments de lege ferenda.

The first part of the thesis deals with the topic theoretically and proposes possible solution in company Siemens Electric Machines s.r.o. based on system analysis.
