Ivánek, Radim January 2020 (has links)
The thesis aim is an evaluation of achieved results coming from the analysis of pipe bend 180° for the critical bending / bend 1D and supercritical bending / bend 0,7D. The theoretical part is focused on material property of a bimetallic pipe and on methods applied to work out the analysis. The definition of critical points at a considered segment and possible defects arisen while bending is embodied in the thesis. The practical part of the thesis is based on presenting dimensional and proportional analysis based on using optical microscopes and 3D scanner GOM ATOS. The material analysis was aimed at macrostructure as well as microstructure of the bimetallic pipe material, at chemical composition and at the hardness when low-loaded. The analysis achieved results are assessed at the end of the thesis.

PSE extrakce rostlinného materiálu pro potravinářské účely / Pressurized solvent extraction of plant material for food industry use

Holasová, Petra January 2009 (has links)
Flavonoids were identified and quantified in samples of dry leaves of plant Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni. Content of flavonols (kaempherol, quercetin, myricetin, rutin) and flavons (apigenin, luteolin) were compared in three samples (standard leaves of Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni, Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni origin from Ukraine and from Czech republic), that were extracted by three extraction methods (PSE, ultrasonic extraction, Soxhlet extraction) with two polar solvents, methanol and ethanol, in combination with non-polar hexane. Extracts were analyzed by HPLC with detection UV-VIS. Antioxidant activity and total content of flavonoids in extracts were measured by spectrometry. Stable free radical DPPH. was used for determination of scavenging effect in extracts. PSE was the most effective extraction method with this conditions – 120 °C, dynamic mode and with methanol like solvent.

Ischemicko-reperfúzní poškození srdce u chladově adaptovaných potkanů / Ischemia-reperfusion injury in cold acclimated rats

Vebr, Pavel January 2016 (has links)
The effect of cold acclimation on body of mammals has been studied for many decades by using relatively low temperatures for acclimation (6-10 řC). The results of these experiments have shown the important role of the adrenergic and thyroid system during acclimation and negative impact on renal system at the same time. In contrast, a recent study on winter swimmers suggests a possibility of positive influence of hardening on cardiovascular system. There is no available study investigating a relationship between cold adaptation and ischemia-reperfusion injury. The aim of this study was to establish a protocol of isolated rat heart and its fixation at our workplace. Furthermore, to find the impact of mild cold acclimation on the ischemia-reperfusion injury of rat. Methods of ex vivo heart perfusion and fixation were successfully established. The effect of 5 weeks long cold acclimation in 10 ± 2 řC on left ventricle ischemia-reperfusion injury was observed. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Efekt fyzioterapie u pacientů s refluxní chorobou jícnu / The effect of physiotherapy on patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease

Zasadilová, Anežka January 2020 (has links)
Author: Bc. Anežka Zasadilová Title: The effect of physiotherapy on patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to design a therapeutic unit and evaluate its effect on long-term treatment in the therapy of selected patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease Methods: The group of patients treated for esophageal reflux disease was examined using a standardized questionnaire, esophageal manometry and postural tests. This was followed by a two-month therapy aimed at stretching and strengthening the diaphragm using several physiotherapeutic methods. After completing the therapy, the probands were measured again as in the same way as in the initial examination. The obtained data were evaluated by statistical analysis using a nonparametric test for one selection (Wilcoxon test). Results: The evaluation of the questionnaire survey resulted in the value of p-value = 0.007265, ie less than the selected level of alpha significance (= 0.05). Based on the Wilcoxon test, it was confirmed that the input score was statistically significantly higher than the output score. The evaluation of the esophageal manometry gave the value of p-value = 0.6956, ie greater than the selected level of significance alpha (= 0.05). Based on the Wilcoxon test, it was not confirmed that the...

Koncept cancer transition v kontextu vybraných teoretických přístupů k procesu nemocnosti a úmrtnosti v posledních desetiletích: Případová studie Česka / Concept cancer transition in the context of selected theoretical approaches related to the process of morbidity and mortality in recent decades: Case study for Czechia

Knížová, Karolína January 2021 (has links)
Concept cancer transition in the context of selected theoretical approaches related to the process of morbidity and mortality in recent decades: Case study for Czechia Abstract The aim of the diploma thesis is to introduce the cancer transition concept and to contextualize it in relation to other theoretical concepts that concentrate on change in the structure of mortality by causes of death. Furthermore, in the context of cancer transition, the current state of mortality of neoplasms is illustrated reflecting its connection to infection in the population of Czechia, and its development is covered over the 1994-2018 period. The concept of cancer transition is based on the idea that as the society develops, the proportion of deaths by infection-related neoplasms decreases and the proportion of deaths caused by non-infection-related neoplasms increases. The concept thus essentially follows Omran's theory of the epidemiological transition. However, the concept of cancer transition has, so far, been theoretically used only to a relatively limited extend in literature and has usually been described rather indirectly. In this work, it is presented as a separate theoretical concept dealing with the change in the structure of mortality in terms of causes of death and its connection to existing concepts related to...
