Problematika edukace rodinných příslušníků pečujících o pacienty na domácí umělé plicní ventilaci / The issue of education of family members caring for patients with home mechanical pulmonary ventilationPolášková, Veronika January 2021 (has links)
Introduction: The number of patients dependent on prolonged mechanical ventilation is still increasing (Chau et al., 2017). Once the child's condition is stabilized, it is possible for him to be discharged to home care and transferred to a home mechanical ventilator. The care of this patients is very difficult, therefore, it is important to prepare family caregivers on all necessary care (Borought a Dougherty, 2016). The aim of thesis: The aim of this thesis was to find out what is included in the educational process in intensive care unit. Secondarily, to get opinion of caregivers on the quality of the education process and finally to present problems, that family caregivers face at home. Methodology: The research was based on the qualitative study. Data collection was conducted by semi-structured interviews with family caregivers, who take care of children on home mechanical ventilation. A total of 9 respondents participated in the research survey. Data analysis was performed in open coding steps followed by categorization and subcategorizations. Result: The research identified important aspects about the education of family caregivers. We found that caregivers perceive the education very positively. However, they also met with several problems - lack of staff time to educate them in hospital, or...

Ošetřovatelská dokumentace v domácí ošetřovatelské péči / Nursing documentation by the home nursing careCHMELAŘOVÁ, Zdeňka January 2016 (has links)
Nursing documentation is currently still very hot topic. Perhaps because they are still many health workers (physicians and non-physicians) sufficiently understand the importance and seriousness of this document. The documentation not only provides valid information about the client and his health, but also ensures continuous flow its nursing care and ultimately became a piece of evidence in case of litigation. Documentation can also be used for education and research purposes. Home care is a field that has recently rapidly growing and gaining in popularity. As part of primary and community care nursing provides clients in its natural, familiar and domestic environment, which is a big advantage for him, he does not spend his days in hospital, which is economically difficult anyway. Home Care provides health care services indicated by the treating physician or practitioner and are paid for by health insurance. This thesis deals with the nursing documentation in home care agencies, which aims to describe the demographic impacts on the use of nursing documentation, check the attitude of nurses from selected agencies of home care to nursing documentation and analyze the nursing documentation in selected home care agencies. The thesis is composed of two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with the history of home care, statistical data shows the growth of agencies, their employees and clients, providing comprehensive home care and medical documentation. The empirical part was realized in the form of qualitative research. The information was gathered in-depth interview technique, which was compiled from 1 identification questions and 11 open-ended questions that formed the framework for the entire interview. In fact, respondents to individually comment on the issue to the extent that they saw fit. The research group consisted of seven sisters of different age, education and length of experience, currently working from home care. Due to fears nurses were promised total anonymity, so you can just tell that they were sisters from ADP capital city of Prague and Central Bohemia. Complementary research was conducted in seven home care agencies for the same regions, but any of nurses does not belong to the Agency from the second survey. In the first phase of the research we examined the influence of nurses' demographic factors such as age, education or length of experience in the management of nursing documentation and own attitudes of nurses from selected agencies in the management of nursing documentation. The research sample consisted of seven nurses working in home care agencies that were selected purposefully and were willing to cooperate in research. In the second phase of the research we tried to analyze individual nursing documentation of selected home care agencies. For this part, we chose seven agencies, which have been their leadership under the promise of anonymity willing to cooperate. The research investigation set up three goals and three research questions. The first objective was to describe the demographic impacts on the use of nursing documentation. The second objective was to determine the attitude of nurses from selected agencies of home care to nursing documentation. The third objective was to analyze the nursing documentation in selected home care agencies. At the outset of the investigation, we asked the following questions: they influence the management of the nursing documentation demographic factors such as age, education or length of practice nurses? What attitudes toward nursing documentation occupy the sisters from selected home care agencies? Correspond to different parts of the nursing documentation with the phases of the nursing process? Results of the research can be an inspiration not only for the nursing management ADP, but also for the nurses working in home care agencies throughout the Czech Republic, only selected agencies.

Model dvouúrovňových her se zaměřením na vliv domácích institucí a preferencí domácích aktérů na příkladu SALT I / Two-level Games: Influence of Domestic Institutions and Preferences of Domestic Actors on the Example of SALT I.Ježek, Jiří January 2017 (has links)
Concept of Two-level games is one of the most sophisticated approach for analysis of the process of international bargaining. Moreover, many research papers focused either on prediction of the outcome of international negotiations or on explanation of the outcomes of former negotiations are based on premises of this concept. However, its application on real example of the negotiation, specifically, on the SALT I talks between the Soviet Union and the United States shows that the Two-level games is not universally valid since many of its predictions have not been verified. There are certain limitations within crucial independent variables (defined by the concept) connected with domestic institutions and domestic preferences and their influence on the size of win-set which has direct impact on the results of the bargaining process. These limitations must be considered in the research. The analysis of the SALT I explores that heterogeneous preferences as well as relatively strong domestic institutions do not have to result in smaller win-set; that presence of no-agreement costs can reduce an influence of other variables, and; that presence of those non-expected (from the view of the original concept) consequences caused by the adjustment of the independent variables occurs within the negotiations...

Soukromoprávní problematika domácího násilí (srovnání německé a české úpravy) / Private law issues relating to domestic violence (a comparison of Czech and German regulation)Žáčková, Blanka January 2011 (has links)
Private law issues relating to domestic violence (a comparison of Czech and German regulation) The subject of this thesis is private law issues relating to domestic violence. The domestic violence is a repeated phenomenon which is hidden in privacy of homes, including physical, psychological or sexual violence among close persons; the intensity of the attacks is escalating. The thesis is focused on violence among adults, especially partners. The domestic violence has been occurring in a society for a long time, nevertheless in the recent years has no longer been considered as a private matter and nowadays is being even solved by a virtue of the law. The Czech Republic and Federal Republic of Germany have recently adopted special acts for protection against the domestic violence. I have chosen the given topic for its recency and also because of lack of the Czech legal literature. The thesis compares the private law instruments of protection against the domestic violence in Germany and in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to find out which options the legal systems offer, whether they are sufficient, what are the fundamental differences between the both legal regulations and finally to propose some legislative measures. The first part of the thesis deals with the concept of the domestic...

Mapování genů ovlivňujících poddruhově specifické funkce meiotického genu Prdm9 / Maping of genes modifying the subspecies-specific roles of the meiotic gene Prdm9Škaloudová, Eliška January 2015 (has links)
The PRDM9 (PR domain containing 9) protein is an epigenetic factor that trimethylates lysine 4 of histone H3 and thereby determines the future meiotic double-strand breaks - sites important for proper segregation of homologous chromosomes. Males of the Mus musculus domesticus (Mmd) origin with homozygous deletion in Prdm9 (Prdm9-/- ) are sterile with a complete arrest in meiotic prophase I, in contrast to the same mutant males of the M. m. musculus (Mmm) subspecies. The aim of this diploma thesis was to identify the genomic loci responsible for the phenotypic difference of these Prdm9-/- males. The major research tool was a population of 182 Mmm x Mmd Prdm9-/- males. The mapping method of quantitative trait loci (QTLs) was based on relating the genotypes of single-nucleotide and microsatellite polymorphisms to the observed phenotypes. At least two QTLs on Chr X were identified. The Mmm alleles of these QTLs reduced fertility of Prdm9-/- males. Both QTLs were confirmed and narrowed down using two types of subconsomic strains. It was not possible to confirm other QTLs, particularly on autosomes. This QTL mapping is the first step towards the identification of genes that modify the resulting phenotype of Prdm9-/- animals. This identification should help designing studies of human infertility that...
