The aim of the thesis named "The possibilities of supporting children and teenagers suffering from ADHD at school and outside" comes from author's personal experience with teenage students suffering from ADHD. The main goal of the thesis is to picture mentioned syndrome in the context of education of the students, therefore the thesis mainly focuses on teenagers and adults who suffer from this handicap. The text consists of two main parts. The ethology of the disorder is introduced in the first part as well as its symptomatology which changes from the childhood through the teenage years to adulthood. The possibilities of diagnostics and treatment are also mentioned - always with the focus on how could the school or the teacher be involved in the process of education. The other chapters are directly focused on the possibilities of the ADHD students' education and its' reflection in the current legislative system, from pre-school age to adulthood. The research study which is described in the second part, is based on questionnaires and semi-structured interviews answered by students and teachers at two types of higher educational institutions. Možnosti a překážky dalšího vzdělávání pedagogických pracovníků / Opportunities and obstacles of further education of pedagogical staff

The aim of this thesis is to find out which areas of further education teachers prefer and which they would use in practice, to compare the relation between the personal choice of the teacher and the necessary reality and to identify teachers' motivation for further education as well as its current conditions. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts and describes the issue of further education of teachers in legislation. It identifies education policy strategies. It compares teacher training in past and present times. It characterizes contemporary forms of teachers' further education and also mentions its problems. In the research part the author examines the preferred areas of further education of teachers at his school in the form of a questionnaire survey, and at the same time compares the situation between the personal choice of the teacher and reality. Semi-structured interviews with teachers identify their motivation and current conditions for further education. The survey could provide feedback to the school management.

The subject of the the diploma thesis is the evaluation the current state of lifelong learning in the govermental and non-govermental non-profit sectors. The aim of the thesis to suggest possibilities for lifelong learning in govermental and non-govermental non-profit sectors. The thesis focuses on reasons which lead workers to increase the level of their achieved education and to participate in educational workshops. It deals with the state of employer or company support. Its theoretical part is based on studying of documents. For conducting the practical part there were chosen particular authorities and organizations where a quantitative survey using a standardized questionnaire and qualitative research using semi-structured interviews were done. The collected data were analyzed and the conclusion stated. Diploma thesis shows the way for the improvement of work with employees who lack the necessary education.

This thesis processes the concept of the human resources management with respect to the age structure of employees in the intentions of the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part, there is outlined the history of the application of the principle of age management, focusing on current demographic trends, forecasts of population age structure, the aging workforce and the need to preserve the ability to work into old age. Points to the need to adapt corporate strategy, personnel management trend of an aging population. It presents ideas for the main underlying programs and legislative measures which form the basis of the latest concepts and strategic plans in the Czech Republic and Europe. The empirical part deals with a specific level of allowance organization established by TSU and two sub investigation. The first is a case study of age management staff. The resulting data are confronted with the results of a survey among employees of the organization. The second investigation are interviews with members of management and employees of the HR department on the issue of the introduction of age management, their awareness of the concept of age management, the question of age discrimination, the issue of maintaining the continuity of knowledge in the organization and their views on these topics. The outcome of this survey indicates a willingness and readiness of the organization has already received age management principles adhere to and develop further.

The thesis The Development of the Legal Regulation of Adult Education in the Czech Republic addresses the legal regulation of adult education in the Czech Republic and its historical, social and international political context. The thesis describes and analyses the following elements: adult education legislation in our country from 1918 to present days, and its strategic, analytical and conceptual documents, key documents of international organizations, adult education legislation of the European Union, in Slovakia and shallowly in few other countries in order to provide a comparison, all based on law theory and andragogic terminology. The conclusion of thesis provides a critical evaluation of the current adult education legislation in the Czech Republic and drafts a new legislation substantively related to all the above components.

In my research I have focused on the efficiency of retraining and long-term enhancement for the retrained individuals. The research has been conducted on a chosen fragment of those, who participated in educational project, which was carried out in 2006 - 2008. Based on personal questioning and questioners, too, I have come to the conclusion on long-term enhancement of retraining projects and set up recommendation to make the retraining courses more effective. Jan Froněk, disertační práce, Katedra andragogiky a personálního řízení FF UK v Praze Abstract The dissertation thesis presents varieties of games and simulations in the field of adult education and specializes particularly in role-play and simulation classifications, with the emphasis on presenting case examples of the applications of the methods. To reach the objectives of the dissertation, first of all resources analysis had been made (both scientific resources and practical toolkits). Then the acquired knowledge was reframed into a terminological framework that had existed before, yet had not been defined specifically enough and explicitly for the field of adult education. The second pillar of the thesis represents a survey that was conducted among adult educators. The thesis consists of six main chapters: it is introduced by a general chapter on games, plays and their characteristics and definition (also from adult educator's perspective). A chapter on simulation and gaming classification follows (Chap. 2), from which the largest part of this work is drawn: a detailed categorization of role-play (Chap. 3) and simulation (Chap. 4) varieties.
