Koloraturní sopránová árie a její vývoj / Development of coloraturas arias

Havránková, Petra January 2014 (has links)
This master thesis entitled "Development of coloraturas arias " is divided into several parts, which branch out into individual sections. The first part deals with an explanation of basic terms of coloratura and aria, as they are described in encyclopedic dictionaries and encyclopedias. This part is followed by brief formal development of aria throughout ages. I continue with the historical development of coloratura from the chapter Middle Age through the following era of renaissance and polyphony to the baroque, where I am describing the origins of opera as a dramatic genre. This part is divided into two parts , in which I describe the formation of coloratura aria and recitative and also the birth of other genres in which are coloratura arias widely used. The next chapter is devoted to the phenomenon of the eunuchs, who contributed to the expansion of coloratura arias around the world. The chapters Alessandro Scarlatti, Georg Friedrich Handel and Johann Sebastian Bach, mention their compositional techniques and also examples of work with coloratura and their contribution to the future generations. The following Classicism brings compositional techniques of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his work. The next chapter, the romantic period, is dedicated to "Belcanto composers" Rossini, Bellini and Donizetti, who had contributed to the trend of coloratura techniques. Giuseppe Verdi was the last representative of belcanto era. In the penultimate chapter I write about selected roles that might be suitable for coloratura soprano and in the end I describe my relationship with the soprano voice in coloratura field.

Evoluce violoncellových koncertů Karla Davydova / Evolution of Karl Davydov cello concerts

Boiprav, Anna January 2016 (has links)
This master thesis is focused on analyzing the development of cello concerts written by Russian composer, respected cellist and teacher Karl Julievich Davydov. In the first place, the analysis is about the upward development of the genre – from virtuosic type of concerts to virtuosic-symphonic type of cello concerts. This thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter in the three subsections is focused on typing and characterization of string concerts. The second chapter in the six subsections devoted to the context of Western European traditions and peculiarities of the development of cello art in Russia. The third chapter in two separate sections and four smaller subsections focus on the personality of Karl Julievich Davydov, periodization of his work and analysis of his cello concerts.

Vývoj dramatična v německé opeře / The development of drama in German opera

Morozová, Tamara January 2017 (has links)
The main idea of this thesis is to describe the development of german romantic opera focusing on the significant evolution of its drama, in the musical, textual and finally the interpretative aspects. A selection from their artworks (with regard to the main topic of thesis) was difficult and highly subjective. They have created a lot of outstanding feminine roles, so I chose five heroines that have served me as individual milestones along the way for almost a century. They have provided me with a suitable structure to map artistic maturation and the development of new, original and completely unique operatic form.

Katalog vodních ploštic čeledi Pleidae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Nepomorpha): biologie, přehled druhů na Zemi, rozšíření, diagnóza taxonů / Catalogue of aquatic hemipterans of family Pleidae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Nepomorpha): biology, list of species, distribution, key.

ŠVEHLA, Jiří January 2013 (has links)
Aquatic hemipterans of the family Pleidae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Nepomorpha) represent a not very well explored group of water insect. Pleidae (Pygmy backswimmers) are tiny (1 ? 3 mm) hemipterans living mostly on the submerged vegetation of lentic water systems. The family is cosmopolitan, but the only species we can find in the Czech Republic is Plea minutissima, which is the most researched one(together with Neoplea striola). This family consists of 33 valid species divided into four generas ? Plea Leach, 1817, Neoplea Esaki a China, 1928, Paraplea Esaki a China, 1928 and Heteroplea Cook, 2011 according to the recent status of knowledge. This thesis is the very first attempt to create a complete catalogue of species in this family. It deals with a list of species, species distribution and key to the genera and species of Pleidae. The list of literature represents bibliography of family.

Analýza mitochondriálních genů živočichů pro DNA barcoding / Analysis of animal mitochondrial genes for DNA barcoding

Brabencová, Klára January 2014 (has links)
The aim of this work is a literature review on the topic of the mitochondrial genome and DNA barcoding, building a dataset of mitochondrial sequences from GenBank database and creatione of a software function for extraction of individual genes that are present in the mitochondrial genome. This function was developed in Matlab. DNA barcoding is a method that uses short DNA sequence of mitochondrial genome for identification of species. There is no comprehensive work examining the appropriateness of different mitochondrial genes. This aim investigates the potential of other mitochondrial genes and evaluate their effectiveness for DNA barcoding and calculation of intra-and interspecific variability.

Dynamika druhů fragmentovaných suchých trávníků na úrovni krajiny / Dynamics of species of fragmented dry grasslands at the landscape scale

Hemrová, Lucie January 2013 (has links)
Past extensive changes in land use have resulted in fragmentation of species habitats. Changes in landscape structure have provoked discussion about the prospects of species of fragmented habitats in the future agricultural landscape. Landscape dynamics of plant species is basically a result of extinction and colonization rates. Many studies have confirmed the former expectation that a number of habitats suitable for a plant species in a landscape stay unoccupied. The differences in species distribution and proportion of suitable habitats occupied by a given species are hypothesized to be due to the area and isolation of suitable habitats and colonization and survival ability of a given species. To understand species dynamics in a changing landscape, first we have to reveal the relationships between the distribution of species and their proportion of occupied habitats, habitat age, habitat configuration and species colonization and survival ability. After the complete understanding of the determinants of species dynamics we will be able to predict reliably species prospect in the future. The very basic aim of this thesis was to reveal the determinants of landscape dynamics of dry grassland species in terms of their distribution and frequency in the landscape. The importance of correct identification...

Diverzita evropských sladkovodních druhů buchanek: fylogenetické vztahy, morfologie a ekologie. / Diversity of European freshwater cyclopoid species: phylogeny, morphology and ecology

Krajíček, Martin January 2014 (has links)
Cyclopoids are together with Calanoids and Harpacticoids a part of the largest, very diverse group of crustaceans and the most numerous aquatic metazoans of the world. The history of their research goes as far back as to the beginning of 19th century when the first cyclopoid copepods were described. The taxonomy of cyclopoids started to develop gradually since that time, adding new and more detailed methods and morphological characters, as well as a certain degree of taxonomical confusion. In last decades, the molecular-genetic techniques of DNA sequencing have become available offering a new independent tool for taxonomists. This work contains different studies concerning the morphology, taxonomy, ecology, distribution and colonisation of cyclopoid copepods, with the use of molecular tools as a uniting element. Chapter 1 of this thesis summarizes basic knowledge about the taxonomy, morphology and biology of cyclopoid copepods and introduces the following chapters containing four studies presented as single publications. The taxonomy of copepods of the genus Cyclops is based mainly on the morphology which is sometimes ambivalent and some of the most problematic species groups are presented here. Chapter 2 presents our unique results, the first reconstruction of phylogenetic relationships among 15...
