Změny krajinné struktury a jejich příčiny v katastrálním území Nasavrky

Korobková, Petra January 2014 (has links)
The main subjects of this study are changes of landscape structure in the cadastral community Nasavrky (country district Chrudim, region Pardubice) in the time of years 1852 up to 2013. On the basis of datas from the second military survey (landscape structure of 19th century), the Czechoslovakian topographical map (landscape structure of 50s of 20th century) and actual topographical map and orthophoto map update by field research (landscape structure of the year 2013) were evaluated changes of land use with using geographic information system. The changes of landscape structure are described based on the development of area of eight land use categories (forests, arable land, permanent grassland, orchards and gardens, built--up area, water area, recreation area and other area). The largest changes were registered of categories arable land and permanent grassland. Ascertained informations about changes of land use can be used as materials in for example landscape planning.

The establishment of genomic resources to study of heavy metal tolerance in the genus Silene

Nevrtalová, Eva January 2014 (has links)
The aim of the thesis is the establishment of genomic resources for genus Silene with an emphasis to study heavy metal tolerance. The genus Silene has been widely used as a model system for addressing ecological and evolutionary questions in plants, but available genomic resources within Silene remain limited and thus broad utilisation of this genus is still capped. Next generation sequencing (NGS) has proven to be a rapid and cost-effective and it serves for quick whole genome characterization non-model organisms. In this study, the unique transcriptome databases are reported for two populations of Silene vulgaris with different tolerance to copper. Due to these databases, we were able to identify putative genes that could be responsible for heavy metal tolerance. We provide closer characterisation of two genes acting on the different levels in a detoxification pathway. Expression of these genes is influenced by copper stress conditions and functional analysis in yeast confirmed the function in copper tolerance. We supposed that these genes participated in heavy metal detoxification and serve as epistatic modificators of heavy metal tolerance in S. vulgaris. Silene latifolia is the most studied species within genus Silene presenting an ideal candidate with a similar role as Arabidopsis thaliana plays in Brassicacea. Therefore we have established haploid and dihaploid S. latifolia plants for further forward and reverse genetic studies in this and related species including S. vulgaris. Taken together, our genomic resources can serve for evolutionary and ecological studies and they are freely available to broad scientific community.

Internacionalizace druhého bydlení na příkladu Mallorky / Internationalization of second home tourism. Mallorca case study

Kiššová, Adéla January 2016 (has links)
This paper illustrates recent processes of internationalization of second home tourism based on detailed research of the Spanish insular destination Mallorca as a case study. German second home owners are especially emphasised within the paper as they predominate on the island in terms of international ownership (as well the anual amount of tourist arrivals). The paper includes discussion on teoretical aspects of second home tourism with focus on latest trends such as international ownership of second homes and retirement migration. Empirical part describes second home tourism on Mallorca within the context of its historical development, spacial organization and using patterns. The key part of the research is questionnaire survey which has been conducted in order to find resident's perception of German second home owners in municipalities Andratx and Deiá.

Transformace rekreačního zázemí Prahy / Transformation of Recreational Facilities in Prague

Tesař, Jakub January 2012 (has links)
The present thesis studies the transformation of recreational facilities of Prague. It is focused on a model area of villages, Ohrobec and Dolní Břežany, which have been long - term observed by the departement of social geography and regional development of Charles University in Prague. Although this area is a significant recreational zone, since 1990's it passes through a considerable number of changes. In this area the transformation of second home and suburbal activity occurs and changes the present landscape character. In an observed locality it has occured the tranformation of the structure of area users. The aim of the thesis is to find out how these people use this area, how do they identify themselves with the place where they live or relax and, what kind of mutual relationships they have. Due to the character of my topic, I have chosen several methods from qualitative research, the main source of information is questionnaire survey between the inhabitants and vacationers.

Pojerová, Kristýna January 2019 (has links)
Possibilities of second home development in neighbourhood of the former Military Region Brdy Abstract This diploma thesis deals with the topic of second homes in the villages in the outskirts of the former Military Region Brdy in the Pilsen region. The aim of the thesis is to define the state and possible future of second home tourism in the area of interest, in connection with the potential which the area gained with the establishment of the Protected Landscape area Brdy on 1st January of 2016. The first part of the thesis contains theoretical input into the issue, attention is focused on second homes and tourism in connection with demilitarization and in relation to nature protection. In the second part the study area is characterized from the socio and physical - geographic point of view, the potential for tourism is also analysed. Next part is focused directly on the second homes in the area and on the results of field survey, which consisted of questioning the users of second homes and of structured interviews with mayors of studied villages.
