Dynamické modely zemětřesného zdroje a seismicita / Dynamic models of earthquake source and modeling of seismicity

Kostka, Filip January 2015 (has links)
In the present thesis we perform modeling of earthquake source using laboratory derive rate-and-state laws of friction. We have developed a code in Fortran 90 for modeling a planar, two-dimensional fault with general dip and heterogeneous distribution of frictional parameters. We use a quasi-dynamic approximation and assume that the fault is submnerged in an infinite elastic half-space. We performed an extensive number of numerical experiments to study the effect of fricitonal parameters distribution on the spatio-temporal complexity of slip on fault. We also study the effect of the so called Coulomb stress changed on clock advance and clock delay of events. For this purpose we use both a homogeneous model and a model of random frictional parameteres which exhibits the Gutenberg-Richter frequency- size dependence in the range of two magnitudes. We find that the effect of Couloumb stress change is nontrivial and depends on factors such as the domain of stress load and the slip velocity on it. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Redakční systém s podporou dynamicky generovaného obsahu / CMS Supporting Dynamically Generated Content

Nádraský, Václav January 2012 (has links)
The topic of this thesis covers design and development of content management system which is easily extensible. It allows creating websites out of components which can be placed at any place in a web site. These components can contain a complex application logic which is independent of a layout of user controls. Content management system also contains a component allowing to place any data from any database into web site content without need to program or to create SQL queries.

Předpovídání výsledků voleb v České republice / Forecasting Election Results in the Czech Republic

Doskočilová, Kateřina January 2019 (has links)
Forecasting Election Results in the Czech Republic Kateřina Doskočilová In this thesis, a forecasting model for the 2017 legislative election in the Czech Republic is built. As the Czech Republic has a multi-party system, the outcomes of the model are the expected vote shares for each party. There are two types of forecasts calculated. Firstly, a poll-based forecast using a dynamic linear model and Kalman filter to weigh the information in the polls. Secondly, the prices on betting markets are translated into probabilistic forecasts for the expected vote shares. This is a novel approach as prediction markets were previously used to forecasts only the probabilities of winning an election. Finally, the two types of forecasts are combined into one and weighed by their variance. Comparing the forecasts, we conclude that the betting market is able to predict the exact vote shares the most accurately right before the election.

Vliv opracování a máčení na frekvenčně-rezonanční vlastnosti dřevěných nosníků reálných rozměrů

Janda, Martin January 2017 (has links)
This paper examines the influence of processing on the acoustic properties of the wooden beams. Hewn beams and sawn beams were examined. Hewn beams were divided into three groups at two moisture content levels. Timber properties were determined by measuring the resonant frequencies. First part of the text is focused on the oscillatory motion and behavior of vibrating solids. Furthermore, there is a description of acoustic properties of wood and the possibility of using these properties when determining the mechanical properties. The next chapter is devoted to non-destructive testing of wood, which often uses acoustic methods.

Fyzikální a matematické modelování demolice komína / Physical and Mathematical modelling of Chimney Demolition

Ficker, Tomáš January 2022 (has links)
The thesis deals with physical and numerical modelling of downsized model of chimney and its demolition. The properties of downsized physical model, which is made of wooden cubes, are being researched and experimentally tested. The physical experiments are then designed using software FyDiK. Numerical Model is simplified to 2D problem, whereas the problem includes dynamic effects. Conformity of designed software model and physical experiment is tested. The aim of this thesis is to achive the best possible conformity of physical and numerical models.

Dynamické rozcvičení u závodních hráčů tenisu / Dynamic warm-up race for tennis players

Koskuba, Jakub January 2012 (has links)
Title: Dynamic warm-up race for tennis players Subject: Male and female tennis players from tennis club Tj Lokomotiva Plzen Objective: Compare immediate influence of static and dynamic stretching on performance level during particular movement tests using device Myotest PRO Methods: To meet the objective quantitative comparison was used by performance parameters using load accelerometer. Quantitative stress parameters were evaluated for individual tests as the mean value from a large amount of repetition in individually evaluation. Results: Tests proved it is not possible to confirm acute positive influence of dynamic stretching on all assesed parameters in different tests. In terms of average values of different tests a noticeable lower limbs improvement has been emerged at two out of three tests. Keywords: dynamic stretching, warm up, sport, injuries, regeneration, tennis

Model dopravního toku s překážkou / A traffic flow with a bottelneck

Kovařík, Adam January 2011 (has links)
Title: A traffic flow with a bottelneck Author: Adam Kovařík Department: Department of Numerical Mathematics Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Vladimír Janovský, DrSc. Supervisor's e-mail address: janovsky@karlin.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: In this paper we study a microscopic follow-the-leader traffic model on a circu- lar road with a bottleneck. We assume that all drivers are identical and overtaking is not permitted. We sketch a small part of the rich dynamics of the model including Hopf and Neimark-Sacker bifurcations. We introduce so called POM and quasi-POM solutions and an algorithm how to search them. The main goal of this work is to investigate how the optimal velocity model with a bottleneck deals with so called aggressive behavior of dri- vers. The effect of variable reaction time and a combination of both named factors is also tested. Using numerical simulations we'll find out that aggressiveness and faster reactions have positive effect on traffic flow. In the end we discuss models with two bottlenecks and with one extraordinary driver. Keywords: dynamical systems, ODEs, traffic flow, bottleneck, aggressiveness. 1
