Previous issue date: 2010-09-23 / The education has been object of constant discussion under the approach of Critical Theory and
studious of the subject. In this research, it was delimited the conception of the education as form
of autonomy of the citizen. The main objective was to reflect on the adornianos concepts and its
contribution to think the education as possibility for the emancipation of the individual. For this
one searched to raise the historical aspects that had culminated with the movement of the Critical
Theory and that they are determinative for better understand it in the context of the Critical
Theory. The option for the subject, Contributions of Adorno to think about education for the
autonomy, had it discussions and readings on the role of the education and to the work of
theoretician of the School of Frankfurt that yearned for the conquest of the freedom of the
thought through the entailed emancipation to the education and social culture of ample form. The
research was essentially theoretician anchored in the studious philosophy of Adorno and of the
Critical Theory. The reflections registered here show the importance of the education beyond the
walls of the school, as well as the relevance of the pertaining to school institutions as basic
elements in the formation of the individual. / A educação tem sido objeto de discussão sob o enfoque da Teoria Crítica e de seus
estudiosos. Nesta pesquisa, limitou-se a concepção da educação como forma de autonomia do
sujeito. O principal objetivo foi refletir sobre os conceitos adornianos e sua contribuição para
pensar a educação como possibilidade para a emancipação do indivíduo. Para isso buscou-se
levantar os aspectos históricos que culminaram com o movimento da Teoria Crítica e que são
determinantes para melhor entendê-la no contexto político, social e cultural. Foram discutidos os
conceitos de educação, emancipação, autonomia e barbárie e a importância da escola no contexto
da Teoria Crítica. A opção pelo tema, Contribuições de Adorno para pensar a educação para a
autonomia, deveu-se a discussões e leituras sobre o papel da educação e ao trabalho do teórico da
Escola de Frankfurt que ansiava pela conquista da liberdade do pensamento através da
emancipação, vinculada à educação e cultura social de forma ampla. A pesquisa foi de cunho
essencialmente teórico ancorada na filosofia de Adorno e estudiosos da Teoria Crítica. As
reflexões aqui registradas mostram a importância da educação além dos muros da escola, assim
como a relevância das instituições escolares como elementos fundamentais na formação do
indivíduo.

Thesis on topic " The changes in management education in the Czech Republic at the turn of the entury through the eyes of the school directors at that time" captures the abolition of central control of education in the Czech Republic from 1999 to 2004 and describes the transition to the new decentralized management system. This is a qualitative analysis, propped on interviews with experienced directors of elementary and secondary schools. In observed period, these executives both personally and professionally experienced the effects of legislative changes in education. During the research, narrative interviews were used, analysis was based on grounded theory. Causal conditions, the phenomenon of interference sectoral management, intervening conditions (risk of anomie, the politicization of education, expertise versus bureaucracy in education management, education and support of school principals) and their effects on the central category were researched. During the research, the central category became school autonomy, and it's range, including the dynamics of change in the observed period, were researched. Thesis contains a description of the researched variables and evaluation of their relations with emphasis on relations to the dominant category. The result is a hypothesis (theory) anchored in...
