The thesis focuses on the study of the effectiveness of selected machines in a company through indicators of overall equipment effectiveness. The aim of this work is to find bottlenecks in production and to provide solutions to increase the productivity of machinery monitoring the operation of machinery. On the selected machine is an analysis that is detected downtime limiting engine running. By entering the draft countermeasures against individual downtime. According to the lessons learned can then implement countermeasures in the company to avoid loss of productivity in production.

Master´s thesis deals with the evaluation of economic efficiency and risk analysis of change of two investment projects conducted in company Lucidum Millennio s. r. o. The thesis is divided into three main parts, which are theory, analysis and proposal. The theoretical part specifies the essential knowledge needed to evaluate the economic efficiency of investment. Analytical part is focused on the evaluation of the financial health of the company (strategic and financial analyses). The proposal is concerned with the introduction of investments, evaluating the economic efficiency of construction of the new production plan and analysing risks related to diesel generator.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a specific business plan for a start up enterprise. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the basic concepts related to entrepreneurship, business plan and legislative requirements related to business services in the field of social services. The practical part deals with specific business plan, company presentation, market analysis, marketing, operational and financial plan and at the end of the chapter also evaluation of the efficiency of the investment and the evaluation of the risks related to the business plan.

This diploma thesis deals with diversity management in international company and in companies in financial field, and also deals with productivity and effectiveness of employees and work teams. The main goal of the thesis is to make suggestions and recommendations to change or improve access to diversity management in compa-nies. Recommendations are about age, gender and intercultural management and also about work-life balance. Important goal is also discover the influence of age and gender to productivity of employees and effectiveness of work teams. Research is divided into two parts. In the first section is quantitative questionnaire - there are applied exact methods (statistical analysis). The second part is qualitative research – there are applied methods of semistructured interviews (team leaders, experts of productivity, HR managers and also leaders). The last part of the thesis contains suggestions and recommendations for better using diversity management and for maximization of team productivity.

The diploma thesis deals with leading discussions in English lessons at upper-secondary schools. In the theoretical part, procedures ensuring effective discussions are described based on previous research findings. The empirical part of the thesis explores how teachers tackle starting, conducting and concluding discussions in real classes and how students evaluate their teachers' efforts. The research is conducted by observing teachers and their classes, by interviewing teachers and by collecting feedback from students in questionnaires. Results comparing the theory with the in-class practice are provided. The conclusion summarizes the common tendencies and differences between the lessons, and the effectiveness of the approaches observed. The subject of the dissertation is the issue of the waste management with special emphasis on the recycling of the construction and demolition waste. The recourse is an analysis of the key instruments regulating the activities and behaviour of market operators in this field toward fulfilling all-society priorities and principles of the sustainable development, where special accent is put on the area of subsidy policies and programmes. The aim of the dissertation is to analyse and evaluate the setting of the selected subsidy programme in terms of economic and ecological efficiency with the emphasis on the assessment of the impact on the recipient. The subject of the research will be a priority axis 4 "Improvement of Waste Management and Removal of Old Environmental Burdens" within the Operational Programme Environment 2007 - 2013. In the literature review basic concepts and important definitions are defined, followed by the comprehensive and complex searches of the problematics from different angles of view. First of all, the global aspect of environmental protection is discussed, broader historical, legal, economic and political contexts, that are essential fundament for understanding the current and future challenges both globally regionally, are summarized. Hereafter, a more detailed description of the situation of the European Union is followed, then the overview is completed by a detailed view at the state of the problematics in the Czech Republic. Subsequent chapters are devoted to a detailed analysis of the waste management sector, again in terms of global, European and national standpoint, in the end the view is focused on the key issue of the dissertation problematics of construction and demolition waste. In the application part the fulfilling of the stated objective of the dissertation through four defined hypothesis is solved. Hypotheses verify the efficiency and appropriateness of the setting of the system of subsidies in the frame of the monitored programme. The emphasis is imposed on the assessment of the impact of the allocated subsidies to the private entities on their economic and environmental efficiency.

In my thesis I deal with examination of administrative demands of the tax system in the Czech Republic, causes thereof and possibilities of solution. For the reason of the thesis extent I examined only direct taxes although indirect taxes show the great potential to reach savings in administrative demands as well and general conclusions may be applied to them. The thesis is divided into four chapters. In chapter I. I define the term of administrative demands as a cause of inefficiency of tax collection system. I look for the causes in principles of the constitutional system of the Czech Republic and tax system, i.e. in its individual tax laws. For comparison I examine the issue also in other countries of the European Union and in Russia to get to know, how effectively tax systems in other states work. In chapter II. I analyze particular parameters of the tax system, such as registration procedures, filing of tax returns concerning individual taxes, additional payments of taxes and tax advance payments, communication with authorities, process of tax recovery, making controls. In chapter III. I propose solution arising from analysis made in previous chapters, which should decrease the administrative demands by various methods. My aim is to keep the same volume of collected taxes. In final chapter IV....

The theme of the thesis is scrapping scheme, which was in the Czech Republic during years 2009 and 2010 very discussed and that was despite government meetings stretching over a year finally unloaded. The work collect a large amount of information about scrapping schemes, a state contribution on the disposal of car wrecks, mainly about its implementation in several countries, the subsequent tract and analysis of resulting impacts. Based on experience from other countries with an already undertaken scrapping programs are identified potential impacts that could have a scrapping scheme in the case of implementation in the Czech Republic in the future. The work is also examining the effectiveness of Czech government finance earmarked for scrapping scheme. The main goal of the thesis is to answer the question whether the implementation of scrapping scheme in the Czech Republic would be an appropriate anti-crisis tool.

Retraining represents one of the most used instruments of the active employment policy. It can be used as instrument for solving individual handicaps to employability in the supply-side of labor market, or as an instrument, that responds to current market requirements. The purpose of this study is to assess how this instrument is used in conditions of local labor market in Trutnov. Specifically, it is evaluated the status of retraining among other instruments of active employment policy, is described the structure of realized retraining and is analysed the targeting of retraining. This study aslo suggests, how to evaluate the effectiveness of retraining, which has been realised. The conclusion summarizes the results of the analysis and evaluate the use of retraining by Employment agency in Trutnov.

The aim of the diploma thesis is the theoretic description of forms of motivation, rewards and punishments applied on elementary school pupils. The research was aimed at the individual forms of motivation, rewards and punishments that respondents apply in their teaching and what the effects are. Theory and practice are compared with the intention to highlight attitudes and features that are applied by teachers in the fields of motivation, rewards and punishments. Consequently, the agreement of forms of motivation and rewards for pupils described in the literature and their application of practical teaching at the elementary school was confirmed. However, the point the academic literature and applied practice differs were the forms and methods of pupil's punishments. Opinions about applied forms of punishment have been diverged by individual interviewed teachers although researched file shows considerable agreement in the previous two topics. The purpose of the thesis is to acquire an outline and detailed information about the given issue and their subsequent comparison with the practice knowledge.
