The main objective of this thesis is a business plan - buying a new machine. The operational objective is to design a variety of financing options and choose the best of them, and then assess the efficiency of investment. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of basic concepts relating to the company and its surroundings, business plan, risk assessment and evaluation of economic efficiency of investment. In the practical part deals with specific business purpose and the purchase of a new machine in the company. I'm thinking here of various financing alternatives and then choosing the best of them while judging whether the investment is acceptable for the company or not.

Master’s thesis deals with Service Desk application effectiveness assessment and proposal for its modification. This proposal will increase application’s effectiveness of suported processes. New version of application will be adapted to ITIL v3. The proposal for modification is created by adapted models of enterprise architecture. The thesis contains analysis of current version of application, which is an input for proposal of modification.

This review is written up on the basis of analysis of the efficiency and the equitability of an individual information system's dimensions. This master thesis is focused on the draft procedure for the compilation of the purchase price of a building by the investor and the impact of the height of this price on the period of the recovery of investment. The basic content of this thesis is the making out of the optimal purchase price for the investor in accordance with the lowest purchase costs but also with regard to the minimisation of the risks connected to the breach of the obligation of the contractor. Further in this thesis there is made a research of the influence of the purchase price on the recovery with the help of the economic effectiveness indicator – net present value (NPV – Net Present Value). The theoretical part of this thesis is applied to a case study – the property of a sales hall.

Master´s thesis deals with the evaluation of the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed flood protection measures in the affected area between the low Nové Mlýny reservoir and Pohansko weir at the Dyje river. The evaluation was done using the multicriteria decision analysis. The analysis was based on hydraulic calculations using 2D hydrodynamic model.

The theoretical part describes the different definitions from the field of investments, pricing and energy modifications. In the practical part are considered two apartment buildings, the first insulated, non-insulated second. The next step is quantifying of the investment cost of such insulation designed with the calculation of payback period, net present value and internal rate of return. At the end of the work is the evaluation of the effectiveness of investments.

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current state, find the risks associated with the information system and propose measures to improve the initial state.

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na zhodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti dvou konkrétních návrhů k investici na základě příslušných metod vhodných k hodnocení efektivnosti investic. První část práce obsahuje teoretický základ potřebný k hodnocení efektivnosti investic. Druhá, analytická část je zaměřena na aplikování metod na dané investiční projekty. Ve třetí části, na základě těchto metod, je navrženo přijetí jednoho ze z těchto investičních projektů spolu s přihlédnutím k riziku investice.
