This thesis deals with the possibilities of using the innovation process to enhance the value of bamboo products in the context of the creative economy and its principles. In the context of Thai self-sustaining economy and in the forefront of social, cultural, and historical specificities of village culture, it presents a development project model to enhance the value of products from the bamboo community production portfolio in Ban Tha Long, and to improve the socio-economic situation of the community through innovation and change in the structure of production.

The aim of this thesis is an analysis of the educational system in Mexico, the role it plays in the knowledge-based economy and the country's ability to compete globally. The practical part of this thesis is focused on a comparison of the knowledge-based economy in Mexico with Latin American and OECD selected countries. The emphasis is placed upon education. The case study compares public and private education in Mexico and their support to the knowledge-based economy.

This thesis is focused on costs of machinery operations used for public green maintenance. The literary part describes the methodology and calculations of all costs related to the work with machinery, and it also includes the information about maintenance costs for chosen types of vegetation in public green. Results of this work were applied in the chosen area -- II. Building District Ostrava-Poruba where we can find all typical types of vegetation of public green in czech cities. Calculations of costs of grass mowing and leaf removing in spring and fall were compared with real costs of those services which were offered by a company which succeeded in the competition. This comparison gives an information to the municipality about real costs of those services, and about possibilities of costs saving if the municipality would do those services on its own.

Jonášová S., 2015: "Possibilities for implementation of the principles of Circular Economy in the Czech Republic" Mendel University in Brno. Thesis. This master thesis deals with current situation of development of Circular Economy in EU as well as in the Czech Republic, focusing on biodegradebla waste and its circular return back to the cycle. The main part proposes the most suitable structural and organizational design which aims to spread awareness and bring up the main principles of CE focusing specifically on biomass reuse. Case study serves as a model situation to describe how to possibly solve an issue with organic waste in District Prague 7. This case study is supported by analysis of joined parties (stakeholders) and as by statistics from filled questionnaires from citizens of District Prague 7. Lastly, the functioning model is proposed to underline the collaboration between citizens (residents), municipalities (communities) and cultivators (farmers) with main focus on the use of compost on grassland if the compost could be used as material for top dressing lawns. Community interest was investigated via online questionnaire. The results uncovered positive as well as negative parts of waste separation. In conclusion, appropriate way of waste separation is proposed for specific area.
