Trendy a kontexty vývoje energetického sektoru / Trends and contexts of development of the energy sector

Novotná, Petra January 2009 (has links)
The world is nowadays dependent on energies, which become scarcer and scarcer. Petroleum reserves are shrinking and it is necessary to find new suitable substitutes. Energy consumption is increasing and energy crises are threatening the whole world. This caused price increased of all energies. Prices and consumption can decrease because of economic crisis, however when recession is over prices of energies are likely to grow again. Economic crisis can cause energy sources are predominantly located in politically unstable countries and other countries are dependent on them. National strategies on energy sector are therefore crucial. The Czech Republic with other countries consumes more energy than actually needed. Savings on energies are becoming more important. The production and consumption of energies have harmful by-products polluting the environment which is not desirable. Renewable resources are much less harmful to the environment but their consumption is still limited. Big potential could be also in nuclear energy and coal power plants with new technologies. The goal of this paper is to analyse individual indicators of energy sector of the Czech Republic and compare it internationally, set the strengths and weaknesses of this sector.

Renewable Energy Sources Support Policy / Politika podpory obnovitelných zdrojů energie

Malý, Jan January 2009 (has links)
Renewable energy sources support policy employs a great variety of economic tools in order to promote the use of green energy. Following thesis at first offers an overview and economic insight into the most applied ones. Since the majority of the European Union Member States nowadays prefer so-called feed-in tariffs schemes we proceed in-depth analysis of effectiveness of that instrument in electricity sector in four selected European countries Austria, Czech Republic, Germany and Spain. An effectiveness indicator which compares marginal electricity generation potential with additional realizable potential of particular renewable energy sources technology is used for that analysis. The results clearly show that the best practice of feed-in tariff design is pursued in Germany where the special set of tariff design and adjustment measures is applied.

Caractérisation des microstructures trempées et sélection des variants dans le Zircaloy-4 / Characterization of quenched microstructure and variant selection in Zircaloy-4

Tran, My-Thu 16 January 2015 (has links)
Zirconium alloys are frequently used in nuclear fuel assemblies. They are chosen for their low neutron absorption, their mechanical properties and their corrosion resistance. A better understanding of the microstructure evolution of these alloys should allow a better control of their process of fabrication. During processing, several quenches, from the beta to the alpha domain take place. The resulting microstructures are lamellar and are called Widmanstätten microstructures. These lamellae are either disposed in parallel or in crisscross and are named “parallel platelets” and “basketweaves”, respectively. These various morphologies have a significant impact on the extrusion; basketweaves facilitate grain fragmentation unlike parallel platelets. In this thesis project, a methodology was developed in order to quantify these morphologies.During the phase transformation, one beta grain can generate 12 different orientations of new alpha grains. The parameters which can influence variants selection are not yet well-known. The model proposed in the present study is based on the minimization of the mean elastic energy of the system during the phase transformation. First results were obtained analytically. Then, additional effects such as the Eshelby relaxation, the elastic anisotropy and the external strain were implemented numerically. In parallel, each alpha variant was quantified within a former beta grain by EBSD analysis. The comparison between the model and the experiments helped to partially validate the model as well as determine the quench strain on the surface of the sample. It was then possible to study the effect of quench strain on the variant selection.

Obnovitelné zdroje energie a jejich dopad na regionální a municipální rozvoj v České republice / Renewable resources and their impact on regional and municipal development

Sládeček, Dušan January 2012 (has links)
This MA thesis examines the effects of wind and photovoltaic power plants on the regional development using the standard regional and statistical analysis tools. The theoretical part focuses on the macroeconomical point of view concerning the support of renewable energy sources. The consequences for Czech economy can be seen as greatly negative. The practical part includes case studies and focuses on specific municipalities. The result of the findings is that the construction of photovoltaic powe plants does not have a negative impact on the development of municipalities, in the case of smaller ones it can even be seen as an economic asset.

Analýza a návrh rozšiřitelnosti MES řešení v potravinářské společnosti / MES Solution in Food Company: Analysis and Expansion Proposal

Soukup, Milan January 2012 (has links)
The effective use of information system MES (Manufacturing Execution System) in the food company is the main topic of this master's thesis. The modularly built system provides valuable support of the production process on operational level. The thesis concentrates on the analysis of already implemented standard solution in the company's factory. Main goal is to propose expansion of the functioning area to the already existing solution, aiming for effective use of energy resources. It was necessary, in order to be able to achieve the goal, to get familiar with the complex corporate IT/ICT construction in alignment with the company's energy concept. The proposed solution is leaning on application of internal MES project methodology, leading to exact specification of energy component in the factory production frame. The thesis conclusions, besides the proposed solution itself should serve as an argument about the efficiency of starting MES system in other production factories of the company.

Optimální nastavení řízení rizik obchodníka s elektrickou energií / Optimal parameters of risk management for electricity trader

Jančová, Lenka January 2012 (has links)
The priority of this work is to show the importance of risk management and the proper operation in electricity trading companies. In the theoretical part of the thesis are summarized basic information about the energy market in the Czech Republic and also a brief overview of the risks observed in the electricity trading. In recent years there have been several cases where a company did not observe their risks or even did not monitor these risks at all. This had a negative impact on the entire Czech energy market. In the practical part of this thesis are described the cases of companies Moravia Energo a.s. and Korlea Invest a.s., setting its risk management and also consequences of their falls. Furthermore, this work describes the different tools to support risk management, which are not the cheapest definitely. Also work contains an example of calculating the limits for credit exposure of the two companies that I calculated based on the analysis of the annual reports of these companies and I managed to get a lot of interesting information during writing this work that the reader will definitely appreciate.
