My diploma thesis is focused on project of water management measure which should intercept torrential water endangering municipality Starovice. In diploma thesis I assess the degree of erosion washes of soil on the solving land. Intensity of soil ablation of affected land is evaluated by Wischmeier-Smith method. Based on the result of long-term soil lost and gathered materials are designed erosion control and water management measures. Graphic part of the thesis contains cartograms with an assessment rate of erosion threat to the investigated area. As part of thesis maps were created using ArcGIS. The essence of the work are drawings situations, longitudinal profiles, sample diagonal incisions of the intercepting ditch were created in Bentley PowerCivil.

The thesis deals with analysis of factors contributing to the development of ephemeral gully erosion on area of the Czech Republic. Method used to direct measurements of ephemeral gully erosion was developed. The statistical sample of gullies was measured to describe the characteristics of ephemeral gullies. Statistical methods were used to compute simple and multiple linear regression models. The models describe relationships between ephemeral gully parameters or factors contributing to development of ephemeral gully. The thesis is concentrated with the development of methodology for prediction the occurrence and prediction of parameters of ephemeral gullies. The methodology can be used to design the optimal erosion control measures in the conditions of the Czech Republic.

The subject matter of the thesis is the identification of concentrated runoff waterways in the landscape and their consequent stabilization. The municipalities of Čejkovice and Mutěnice in the South Moravian region were analysed in order to reach this purpose. The thesis introduces theoretical bases for the definition of concentrated runoff waterways and their application in the calculation. The area was analysed on the basis of the digital elevation model in ArcGIS software environment. The CN curves method by means of the hydrological model DesQ – MAX Q was used for the calculation of concentrated runoff waterways.

Vyhodnocení ztráty půdy vodní erozí ve vybraném území

Diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of threats on agriculture land by water erosion in the cadastral area of village Čikov before and after proposing of counter – erosion measures. For the calculation of erosion was used Universal equation (USLE) according to Wischmeier and Smith. The analytical operations leading to the calculation individual factors Universal equation and average long-term loss of soil by water erosion were made using the software ArcGIS, USLE2D and LS – Converter. Partial analysis are presented in the form of map outputs. In the interest area, after the calculating of the USLE, it was found that on 30,39 ha occurs very strong erosion which represents 4,73 % of the solved area. Strong erosion occurs on 36,56 ha (5,68 %), medium erosion on 229,94 ha (35,75 %) and slight erosion on 346,33 ha (53,84 %). Thanks to the proposed counter – erosion measures, very strong erosion in the interest area was completely eliminated. Strong erosion was reduced to only 2,52 ha (0,39 %) and medium erosion to 74,79 ha (11,58 %). Slight erosion increased to 566,21 ha (88,03 %).

Thesis deals with calculation of erosion risks on ArcGIS program platform using the map baisics of State land office and Czech Geodetic and Cadastral Office. The fundamental goal of thesis is find out a present of erosion risks in interests area. For calculation of erosion will be used universal equation of USLE (Universal soil loss equation). The result of thesis is proposal of measures which will lead to reduce the influence of water erosion on agriculture soils. Protection of agriculture soils should be integral part of rural development and maintaining natural functions of rural, agriculture landscape.

This thesis deals with geoinformation analysis of comprehensive landscaping. The thesis compares calculations of the long-term soil loss using different digital terrain models and topographical factors. Subsequently the thesis focuses on the rating of the drain and erosive ratio on the basis of the analysis of the current status of the examined area, that is the circumference of the outcoming comprehensive landscaping in Kunovice cadastral area under the conditions of the conventional agriculture scenario. These resource materials helped the diploma thesis to design anti-erosion measures including the main agricultural roads and the system of ecological stability that was extended with the interactive elements for the needs of these measures. Afterwards their efectivity was succesfully measured. Results of plans are designed in the next part of the thesis to the form of map outputs and in the discussion were debated contributions of the plan from the perspetcive of the opening the water regime of the landscape, the danger of erosion and the ecological stability.

This Diploma Thesis is focused on the analysis of the Ketkovice cadastral area in terms of runoff and erosion conditions. The QGIS software was chosen for the analysis. For this reason, instructions for this software are prepared, focusing on runoff and erosion conditions, as an appendix to the Diploma Thesis. Other software programs used are USLE2D and DesQ-MaxQ. The first part deals with the analysis of the area of interest. The second part deals with the problem itself, at first the methods used to determine runoff and erosion conditions are introduced, then anti-erosion measures, at the end of this part the software programs used are briefly described. The last third part is devoted at first to the evaluation of runoff and erosion conditions before the design of the measure, then to the design of the measure itself, finally to the evaluation after the design of the measure. In case of erosion conditions, two variants of calculating long-term soil loss are considered before and after the proposed measures. In the first variant, a constant value of the factor R=40 MJ.ha.cm.h is considered in the Universal Soil Loss Equation and in the second variant this value is increased with respect to the climate change.

As a result of ground water pumping in the Střeleč quarry there has been developed a depression in ground water surface during recent 30 years impacting an area of approx. 10 km2 . Due to the existence of steep hydraulic gradient in the quarry surroundings subsurface erosion occurs resulting in a development of underground channels. The biggest one developed in the years 2000 - 2002. Its length was 300 m reaching in some place the height of 17 m. During field works in the quarry in the years 2009 - 2010 the only accessible channel was mapped. In the channel two main types of cracks were discovered. On the crossing of these cracks slumping of the sandstone occurs which causes difficulties for the mining company. A hydraulic gradient higher than 5% was determined to be critical for sand transport in the channels and widening the initial conduits into channels. The channel development and releasing of static ground water reserves also influenced chemical composition of ground water emerging in the quarry. In the period of the most intensive channel development in 2001 the ratio of ground water from static reserves on the total amount pumped was 56%. The aim of the work is to find out the application of intercrops and their influence in crop rotation in the cadastral area of Krašovice u Čížové. The first part of the thesis deals with erosion, anti-erosion measures and intercrops. In the second part there is a calculation of erosion shear on given cadastral area. The erosion of soil on the soil blocks is calculated using the Wischmeier-Smith equation (USLE). The wash is then further compared, using crop rotation and crop rotation with the application of intercrops.
