The digital scripture, the Internet, the advance of the automation and the development of new technological devices, exemplify factors that have been causing questions to think and rethink the most diverse human actives. The photograph shows changes in procedures performed for its creation, production and dissemination, as well as in technological devices used for such actions. There is a growth in the number of produced and shared images and in the speed of these actions. Moreover, the credibility of the photographic image has been increasingly questioned. The present thesis aimed to investigate, above all, the language aspects of photographic scripture in digital ambience, considering the complexity of this scenario. To this end, the following path has been completed: i) survey of some major speeches on aspects of photography language throughout history, especially those who discussed their indicial and symbolic aspects, and also, introduction to some ideas about complexity of photography in contemporaneity; ii) brief discussion of the changes in the informational relationships of humanity over time, emphasizing the correlation between technology and language, as well as some ideas and concepts of digital scripture, the internet, the advance of automation, new technological devices and the relationship languages.; iii) analysis of changes in the language aspects of photographic scripture, discussing and analyzing some procedures involved in its articulation and also in the production and dissemination of photographs in digital ambience; iv) presentation and analysis of projects carried out by the author of this research in collaboration with researchers and artists of Digital Humanities Lab that help to reflect on several points raised in this research, enhanced by digital scripture. This thesis sought to establish an interdisciplinary dialogue on the many challenges and opportunities that involve the articulation of photographic scripture in the digital ambience, especially in relation to its language aspects. The current scenario shows some moves that show profound changes in articulation of photographic scripture and demonstrate its potential to go new ways, including the expansion of photographic beyond their culturally imposed boundaries. Moves influenced by digital scripture responsible for generating and disseminating any visual, sonorous or verbal element. This Re-View of photographic scripture can contribute to the search for new strategies for the images producer in contemporary society, as well as to reflect on their creative processes. / A correlação tecnologia-linguagem tem se comportado como um importante vetor para as modificações na maneira da humanidade se relacionar e a fotografia é um elemento importante nessa discussão. A escritura digital, a internet, o avanço do automatismo e o desenvolvimento de novos dispositivos tecnológicos, exemplificam fatores que têm provocado questionamentos para pensar e repensar as mais diversas atividades humanas. A fotografia apresenta modificações nos procedimentos realizados para a sua criação, produção e disseminação, assim como nos dispositivos tecnológicos empregados para tais ações. Há um crescimento no número de imagens produzidas e compartilhadas, bem como na velocidade dessas ações. Ademais, a credibilidade da imagem fotográfica tem sido cada vez mais questionada. A presente tese teve como objetivo investigar, sobretudo, os aspectos de linguagem da escritura fotográfica na ambiência digital, considerando a complexidade desse cenário. Para tanto, o seguinte caminho foi percorrido: i) levantamento de alguns dos principais discursos sobre os aspectos de linguagem da fotografia no decorrer da história, com destaque para aqueles que discutiram seus aspectos indicial e simbólico e, também, introdução a algumas ideias sobre a complexidade da fotografia na contemporaneidade; ii) breve discussão das modificações nas relações informacionais da humanidade ao longo do tempo, com ênfase na correlação entre tecnologia e linguagem, assim como em algumas ideias e conceitos sobre a escritura digital, a internet, o avanço do automatismo, os novos dispositivos tecnológicos e a relação de linguagens; iii) análise das modificações nos aspectos de linguagem da escritura fotográfica, discutindo e analisando alguns procedimentos envolvidos em sua articulação e, também, na produção e disseminação de fotografias na ambiência digital; iv) apresentação e análise de projetos realizados pelo autor desta pesquisa em colaboração com pesquisadores e artistas do Laboratório de Humanidades Digitais que ajudam a refletir sobre diversos pontos abordados nesta pesquisa, potencializados pela escritura digital. Esta tese procurou estabelecer um diálogo interdisciplinar sobre os inúmeros desafios e potencialidades que envolvem a articulação da escritura fotográfica na ambiência digital, principalmente em relação aos seus aspectos de linguagem. O cenário atual apresenta alguns movimentos que evidenciam profundas mudanças na articulação da escritura fotográfica e demonstram sua potencialidade em percorrer novos caminhos, inclusive para a expansão do fotográfico além de suas fronteiras culturalmente instituídas. Movimentos influenciados pela escritura digital responsável por gerar e disseminar qualquer elemento visual, sonoro ou verbal. Esta Re-Visão da escritura fotográfica pode contribuir para a busca por novas estratégias para o produtor de imagens na contemporaneidade, assim como para a reflexão sobre os seus processos de criação.
