A Teoria do Meio, de Marshall McLuhan, é tomada como centro para discutir a constituição da gramática de comunicação da Web, que irá se refletir na construção da interface dos portais. Silverstone é tomado para discutir as temporalidades detectadas naquele ambiente, assim como o conceito de Emergência, de Johnson, auxilia a compreender a natureza das mudanças pelas quais passam as interfaces. A partir de conceitos de Kilpp, Bolter & Grusin e Vilches, entre outros, procura-se mapear, nas capas dos portais UOL e Globo.com, os procedimentos técnicos-estéticos que evidenciam a forma de cada portal criar suas próprias significações / This work seeks to understand the way for which the information portals create strategies to be differentiated before the hearing. Marshall McLuhan's theory of the medium is taken as center to discuss the constitution of Web's grammar of communication, what will reflect itself in the construction of the portal's interface. Silverstone is taken to argue temporalities detected in that environment, as well as Johnson's concept of Emergence assists to understand the nature of changes for which interfaces pass.
