Použití bylinných extraktů v krmné dávce brojlerových kuřatŠťastník, Ondřej January 2014 (has links)
This thesis is concerned with detecting the effect of the addition of garlic extract to the diet Ross 308 cockerels on blood antioxidant activity expressed by FR method and ni-trogen retention. It focuses the effect of garlic extract on body weight gain, feed con-sumption, feed conversion and carcass yield. Statistically significant (P <0.05) the highest antioxidant activity levels were achieved in the control group as measured by FR method. Statistically significant (P <0.05) effect on nitrogen retention was found in the control group compared to groups containing 10 and 15 g of garlic extract per kilogram of feed mixture . Feeding garlic extract had no statistically significant effect on body weight gain, feed consumption, feed conversion and carcass yield.

This thesis investigated the effect of addition of garlic oil extract to the diet 72 brojlerovým Ross 308 taps on their live weight This thesis investigated the effect of additions of garlic oil extract to the diet 72 broilers Ross 308 on their live weight, the proportion of the carcase, yields of breast and thigh muscle content of selected components of the meat, which was dry matter, crude protein and fat, and in particular sensory properties of breast and thigh muscles. Cockerels were divided into 3 groups (one control and two experimental), the compound feed containing 0 g; 5 g and 10 g of garlic oil extract per 1 kg of compound feed. The main objective was to determine carcass yield of breast and thigh muscle and especially the sensory evaluation of breast and thigh muscle from control and experimental groups. The addition of garlic oil extract had a positive statistically significant effect (P > 0.05) on the yield of breast and thigh muscle. Within the sensory evaluation of breast muscles was statistically significant positive effect demonstrated only for the addition of 10 g of garlic extract oil per 1 kg of the mixture and its chewiness (P < 0.01) and juiciness (P < 0.05). Within evaluation thigh muscle was statistically significant positive effect demonstrated only for the addition of 10 g of garlic extract oil per 1 kg of the mixture and its juiciness (P < 0.01). Additions of garlic oil extract had a negative effect on the valuation parameters except insignificantly lower values (P > 0.05) in the context of nitrogen in both muscle, dry matter content of breast muscle and thigh muscle yield percentages . The addition of garlic oil extract did not cause a negative sensory evaluation of breast and thigh muscle suggests that a dose of 10 g garlic oil extract per 1 kg of compound feed achieve better results in comparison with a lower addition of this extract.

Antimikrobiální aktivita konopného extraktu u patogenů způsobujících onemocnění kůže / Antimicrobial aktivity of cannabis extract in pathogens causing skin diseasePařízek, Štěpán January 2017 (has links)
Diseases caused by microbes are worldwide cause of morbidity and public health risks. Despite undisputed global benefits of antibiotics, the occurrence of infections caused by antibiotics-resistant bacteria becomes more frequent. This can be attributed to increased consumption of antibiotics in the long term, but also to their inappropriate use. Appart from that, progress in the field of synthetic antibacterial drugs research is dramatically stagnating in recent decades, plus the the antibiotics have bad effects to many bacteria types beneficial to human body. This generates a strong need to seek for natural remedies with similar or better antimicrobial effects. It is known that many plants produce a wide range of secondary metabolites with antimicrobial effects. Such metabilites inhibit growth and reproduction of pathogenic microorganisms by various mechanisms. From explored herbal medicines hemp, traditionally used to cure many diseases, appears to be a suitable alternative to antibiotics.
This thesis focuses on the antimicrobial activity of extracts of six different cannabis genotypes. Extracts with different ratios of cannabinoids have been tested using in vitro microdilution method on selected pathogens, causing skin disease (Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp.).
Results confirmed the antimicrobial activity of all tested extracts. Very good minimum inhibitory concentration was assessed mainly for Streptococcus spp. with a concentration of 4 ug/ml. Extracts NHS4, JB3 and CK3 showed best results against all pathogens, with minimal inhibitory concentrations in the range from 4 to 16 ug/ml. Only extracts of CK2, N3 and JC1 have proven ineffective (MIC 512 ug/ml), because they could not be evaluated by the inhibitory concentration.

Antimikrobiálny efekt semien révy vinnejZáhora, Adam January 2016 (has links)
The thesis deals with testing the antimicrobial activity of the seed extracts from grapevine, in the research data summary of biologically active substances contained in the vine seed (Vitis vinifera) and brief general characteristic of selected species of microorganisms. In the practical part of thesis was examined antimicrobial effect of seed extracts obtained from grape wine varieties grown in ČR. The first part of thesis deals with the process of producing extract. It was tested nonmethanol extract exposed to oxdiation, fresh methanol and nonmethanol extract in appropriate diluted concentrations. These extracts at 100 %, 50 %, 10 % concentrations were tested by using the agar difusion method, including Escherichia coli, Enterococcus faecalis and Candida tropicalis. All tested microorganisms were inhibited by the grape seed extracts using agar well difusion method and they were cultivated in their optimal conditions for the growth and reproduction after 24 hours and 48 hours. Finally were performed measurings of the inhibition zones.
