The topic of this master´s thesis is development of system for configuration of fire truck. The design of the fire truck is based on legislative requirements, future incidents and on a character of landscape. The first part contains these requirements. How to process current incidents and how to predict future incidents is described in the next chapter. For prediction of future incidents are used neural networks are detailed in the third part of the thesis. Implementation of the three selected neural network from previous part for Windows platform is in the fourth part of the thesis. Last part of the thesis is testing several configurations of neural network and the one with the best result is implemented in application which is the main outcome of the thesis.

A fire station is a building where not too many things happen. But the few that do are either too forgettable or too memorable. This thesis tries to achieve time, innovation and realism. There's a redundancy in this building, in people's actions that makes it memorable.
This building is the evidence of my way of thinking architecture. It reflects my memory as student and architect. It shows an undeniable background. It's questioning why buildings don't endure in time, why they are disposable objects. I'm trying to find reasons to make a building respectful, socially involved with its surroundings.
The project is a midsize fire station. It answers to an actual necessity to relocate the existing fire station on Prince St. (Alexandria, VA) giving more space for firefighters and better access for two trucks. The new site is an existing parking lot that crosses a whole block from South Washington St. to South Columbus St. between Wilkes St. and Wolfe St. This site gave me the possibility to create a building where trucks can access and leave it without turning or maneuvering too much. / Master of Architecture

It is a new the municipal authority in Dlouhoňovice. Part of municipal authority is a garage for the fire truck, warehouse village garden equipment, commercial spaces and the second floor above ground units. The building is situated in the Pardubice region in the town called Dlouhoňovice, cadastral area Dlouhoňovice. The building consists of two aboveground floors. The rest of the building is covered with wooden trusses in the shape of a gabled roof. The building is designed from the structural system HELUZ.

The following thesis project has been done in direct collaboration with Autokaross i Floby AB Rescue Vehicle Department, in Sweden. The report contains the design development of a protective cover against weather conditions for the extendable ladder in a fire vehicle. The aim of the report has been to develop a functional and low cost solution cover for the FEL on a fire truck, which is allocated on the roof, with the express intention of providing adequate access and protection against weather conditions in Nordic countries, so as to prevent premature deterioration of the FEL unit. The company has set the technical and conceptual boundaries, with the help of the two previous concepts currently used, the BMC and the ACP. The initial requirements laid out by the company were expressed through a number of specific demands which can be categorized in two main points: Cost: Designing a solution keeping in mind cost limits, assembly cost and time, and space optimization. This was done by taking into account the two existing solutions, particularly the BMC, which represents the lowest, cost wise and function wise. Therefore it was used as the basis on which to apply improvements, rather than trying to lower the high cost on the overqualified function of the ACP. Function: Providing the adequate protection and access to the FEL. In this case, the problem was solved by establishing the correct degree of protection relevant to the Nordic weather conditions and FEL needs, and regarding the access, this was assured by fully automating the opening/closing process with the existing extraction operating system of the FEL. The result of this report is a concept solution which meets the company’s demands, obtained by creative detailing, together with an analysis regarding possible considerations that could improve the creative detailing result in this report in the form of future work. The report documents the process that has taken place in exploration, concept generation, concept evaluation, concept selection, and detailed CAD development. Each section shows the requirements and adjustments taken to fulfil the company’s needs.
