The diploma thesis is pursuing the analysis of principles on which the technical analysis is based, with focus on the relevancy. The attention will be paid to the fact whether technical analysis is able to generate successful trade signals and thus be recognized as scientific discipline. We will try to remove the subjectivity (for which is often criticized) by means of statistical methods. The diploma also includes basics of psychological analysis (especially new stances). In work, I evaluate whether technical analysis can be informative and add value to investment process. I also compare the returns based on technical analysis with Buy and Hold strategy.

Subject of master's thesis, "Technical Analysis of Chosen Stock Titles" is a study of both technical analysis and focus of usability of technical analysis in practice. At the beginning, this work focuses on theoretical materials, which are then used for elaborating methods of technical analysis. Finally, the work includes testing of individual elements of technical analysis and application of technical indicators in capital markets.

Práce se zabývá popisem technické analýzy jako jedné z částí celkové analýzy instrumentu. V práci jsou detailně popsány nejpoužívanější technické indikátory a grafické formace. Autor se v práci zamýšlí nad vznikem technické analýzy a odhaduje její možnosti použití do budoucna. V na akciích Burzy cenných papírů Praha a.s. potom zkoumá úspěšnost predikcí technické analýzy.

The dissertation entitled "Formation of the catechists laymen in the Czech and Moravian dioceses (1990 - 2015)" focuses on the development of the formation of lay catechists in Czech and Moravian dioceses in the last twenty five years. With a view to the official catholic documents referring to the formation of lay catechists, this work is aimed to evaluate the fundamental and lifelong formation of catechists in particular dioceses. The dissertation is based on a combined research consisting of inquiries, which are being answered due to a solid insight into documents of dioceses, internal documents of diocesan catechetical centres as well as surveys and interviews with heads of catechetical centres and witnesses of the historical activity of these centres. The practical part contains charts. Final part of the dissertation indicates advantages of this work which can be used in future following research on the subject of formation of lay catechists in the Czech Republic. There is a growing number of virtual agents in today's virtual worlds. This is directly related to the need of coordinating their behavior and movement. In this work we design algorithms to maintain desired formation of agents while moving through difficult terrain. The methods we study should maintain the requirements of the formation as well as traverse along various obstacles. We then use an arbitrary fitness function to compare the performance of these methods on typical scenarios.

In theoretical part there is a definition of conception of life situation in the way which is specific for modern social science mainly social work. Then there are introduced individual parts of life situation which are sources for priest, human relations in which they live and social environment in which they move. Then there are a second view on the life situation of priest now in therm of pastoral theology. Among the basic themes there are priest in itself, then chapelery as the place of pastoration and final theme is permanent formation. In practital part there is an introduction of collection of case studies which are dealing with practical life of 8 priests from Diocese of Brno.

This diploma thesis deals with the testing of the success of individual candlestick patterns of technical analysis. In the first part the theoretical basis of technical analysis and candlestick patterns will be presented. The second part will define basic candlestick patterns and their program definition. Backtesting on historical data will verify the success of individual candlestick patterns on EURUSD currency pair. In the third part, a trading system will be built based on the results of the testing of the candlestick patterns. An optimal setting of the trading system will be proposed. The aim of the thesis is to test success rate of candlestick patterns and find out if the candlestick pattern trading system is able to generate profits.

Spirituality of Psalms in the Context of Antonín Dvořák's Biblical Songs. The aim of this work is an introduction with general pieces of informations about psalms, about their primary theological scope, about spiritual world and spiritual aspects, because they in fact include the human life in all circumstances. Fundamental commission is to introduce musical work of the czech composer Antonín Dvořák (1841─1904) Biblical Songs. This work includes ten songs. Lyrics of these songs elected Antonín Dvořák himself from the Book of Psalms. This book is a part of the Old Testament. The psalms are not only a prayer of a person. The psalms are a perspective and a dialogue of person and God and the psalms make a relationship with God. Subject matter of this work will be to find a communication between a person and God and the reception of the words of God too. Very important in this case is the state of mind in thoughts and in emotional feelings. The emotional feelings and thoughts are a part of the composer's aith. The diploma thesis presents Tarsicius, a Czech magazine for altar servers, in comparison with its German counterpart MINIPOST. It comes with an analysis of the content of both periodicals - with a focus on individual sections and on the graphic aspect. On the basis of partial analyses and comparations it describes and evaluates the pastoral significance of both magazines for the formation of altar servers.
