Světelné křivky zákrytových dvojhvězd / The light curves of eclipsing binaries

Korda, David January 2016 (has links)
New CCD photometric observations of ten short-period LMB (Low Mass Binaries) were carried out. Data were obtained using 65 cm telescope in Ondřejov in the filters I, R and V from 2014 to 2016. Light curves were analysed using the program PHOEBE. The obtained masses and radii of the stars were compared with the theoretical mass-radii relation. There arises that the short-period binaries have the radii of about 4 % larger than the theoretical prediction from the stellar evolution models. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Modely planatek z řídké fotometrie / Asteroid Models from Sparse Photometry

Hanuš, Josef January 2013 (has links)
We investigate the photometric accuracy of the sparse data from astrometric surveys available on AstDyS. We use data from seven surveys with the best accu- racy in combination with relative lightcurves in the lightcurve inversion method to derive ∼300 new asteroid physical models (i.e., convex shapes and rotational states). We introduce several reliability tests that we use on all new asteroid mod- els. We investigate rotational properties of our MBAs sample (∼450 models here or previously derived by the lightcurve inversion), especially the spin vector dis- tribution. It is clear that smaller asteroids (D 30 km) have strongly anisotropic spin vector distribution even when we remove the bias of the lightcurve inversion, the poles are clustered towards ecliptic poles. We explain this anisotropy as a re- sult of non-gravitational torques (YORP effect) acting on these objects, because without accounting these torques, we were not able to create such anisotropic dis- tribution by our model of the spin evolution. We also estimate sizes for 41 and 10 asteroids by scaling their models to fit the adaptive optics profiles and occultation observations, respectively.

Řešení intenzity osvětlení scény metodou Mapování fotonů / Scene Ilumination by Photon Mapping Method

Hübner, Lukáš January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with the estimation of global illumination of a~scene. Global illumination is expressed as a~physical simulation in connection with illumination methods used in current computer graphics. In the practical part there is expressed an implementation of global illumination estimation using photon maps.

Studium změn sklonu u zákrytových dvojhvězd / Study of inclination change for the eclipsing binaries

Juryšek, Jakub January 2016 (has links)
This thesis deals with the study of the eclipsing binaries with inclination changes, caused by orbital precession due to third body in the system. Methods of semiauthomatic detection of the inclination changing eclipsing binaries among huge lightcurves databases have been developed. These methods have been applied to the ASAS-3 and OGLE III LMC databases. As a result, 39 new systems suspected of orbital precession have been found and 33 of them are situated in the Large Magellanic Cloud, with only one previously studied system. Increasing the number of known multiple systems especially those located outside Milky Way allows to study inter-galactic differences in star formation. In this work, we bring detailed study of ten new systems and restrictions on the third body parameters are presented. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Srovnání konvenčních a nových metod měření a hodnocení jasů / Comparison of Conventional and New methods of Measurement and Evaluation of Luminance

Svoboda, Miloslav January 2012 (has links)
Because luminance is the only value to which our sight responds, its measurement becomes important in terms of ensuring the proper function of vision. Nowadays luminance measuring can be made by conventional methods, such as direct using of luminance meter. However an entirely new method of measuring luminance levels is coming. This method is based on using luminance analyzers which work using a digital photography for the analysis of luminance. This thesis deals with these issues and is divided into several chapters, which form the two main parts of the thesis, the theoretical and the practical one. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the basics of lighting technology, as well as the principles of measuring the luminance using conventional methods. New methods of measurement, i.e. using luminance analyzers, are discussed in two chapters which analyse both the principle and characteristics of analyzers available today. In the practical part is a comparative measurement carried out – in the laboratory and in terrain – using both methods.

Technologie zalévání LED pásků epoxidovými hmotami / Technology of pouring LED strips with epoxy materials

Rudy, Veronika January 2021 (has links)
The thesis deals with the pouring of epoxy materials over LED strips. The research part contains an introduction to photometry and summarizes the types of potting compounds along with their characteristics. The practical part delves into the effect different amount of pigment has on the photometric properties. This is assessed based on verified measurements performed with the help of a goniophotometer on samples with different amounts of pigment, which were created using an integration sphere. Furthermore, a brightness analysis and a long-term outdoor test were performed.
