Skolledare och digitala teknologier : En kvalitativ studie i skolledares användning av och tankar kring digitala teknologier, i arbete och för skolan

Siljebo, Josef Unknown Date (has links)
Today, digital technologies (DT) can be said to play an important role in the Swedish school system. The goal of this essay was to describe DT use by school leaders, in relation to their views on schools’ goals and visions, and teachers’ and students’ use of DTs. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with five school leaders of secondary schools in Umeå municipality, Sweden. The results show that school leaders’ use of DTs center on three key tasks: communication, information and administration. Further, it is shown that school leaders’ views vary in regards to DTs’ role in school goals, and visions, for digital use. In the discussion/analysis it is argued that school leaders’ views on DTs in schools can be explained as functionalistic, and that this view may inhibit new uses for DTs in schools, and also give a dysfunctional view on the technologies that school leaders do not use. In conclusion it is argued that school leaders might need to reflect more about the DT use of schools

The study utilizes a mixed-methods approach, starting with a quantitative survey distributed to individuals working in three different preeschool institutions and through the researcher´s personal Facebook page. The survey provided insights and generated specific questions for the subsequent phase of the study, which involved interviews with the professionals from three distinct roles connected to the process of handling reports of concern in preeschool. The collected empirical data was analyzed using Tomas Brante´s professional theory and associated concepts, as well as drawing on foundational ideas and concepts from Talcott Parsons´structural-functionalistic perspective. The analysis sheds light on the collaborative dynamics betwen professionals, the nature of the reporting process, and the dilemmas that can arise for each profession involved in reporting concerns in preschool. Additionally, the study demonstrates that these dilemmas can vary based on factors such as professional experience, education, and personal opinions. Overall , this research provides valuable insigts into the intricacies of handling reports of concern in preschool and highlights the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and understanding within this context. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the challanges faced by professionals during the reporting process and help inform future efforts to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of handling concerns in preschool settings.

Halabicová, Věra January 2017 (has links)
Title: The Human Embryo in the Perspective of Reproductive Medicine. Since when one begins to be a human person? In this work, we take into account the issues, which in most cases lead many people to resort to the reproductive medicine, which generally is referred to as the infertility problems. But in some techniques, the reproductive medicine loses up to 80% of human embryos. In the minds of many people, the human embryo is seen only as a cluster of cells. However, is it really just a cluster of cells, or is it already a person at an early stage of development? As far as one is already man, is he now also the human being, of whom are in our Western culture related rights, especially the right to life? Could we then say with a clear conscience that with these techniques we are acting ethically? We dividend our work into six chapters. In the first and second chapter, we will be briefly acquainted with the issues of infertility, of the reproductive medicine techniques, with the development of the human embryo and with handling of the embryos in the course of these techniques. In the third charter, we will present the two major ethical models in our cultural area that have a different point of view on the status of the human embryo. In the fourth chapter, we will look at how to the question of the...
