Změny endokrinní funkce a zánětlivého profilu tukové tkáně a periferních monocytů u pacientů s obezitou: vliv fyzické aktivity a bariatrické chirurgie / The changes in endocrine function and inflammatory profile of adipose tissue and peripheral monocytes of patients with obesity: the influence of physical activity and bariatric surgery

Trachta, Pavel January 2017 (has links)
(EN) Research in the field of obesity, diabetes mellitus and their complications in recent years is increasingly focused on pathophysiological mechanisms of their onset and potential prevention and treatment. The aim of the present work was to evaluate the effects of two different interventions - sleeve gastrectomy and physical activity - on anthropometric, biochemical, hormonal parameters and mRNA expression of proinflammatory factors in subcutaneous adipose tissue along with mRNA expression in peripheral blood monocytes in patients who underwent sleeve gastrectomy. A total of 15 obese women with hypertension were included into the physical activity study. These patients underwent a 3-month training program, which included 30 minutes of aerobic exercise three times a week. 13 obese women were included into sleeve gastrectomy study and were followed-up for 2 years after surgery. Our results indicate that in both studies obese groups had at baseline significantly increased mRNA expression of proinflammatory cytokines, adipokines, chemokines and chemokine receptors relative to control groups. Both interventions decreased body weight and low-grade inflammation. Physical activity had no significant effect on blood pressure, lipid profile and mRNA expression of the components of the renin-...

Hodnocení psychosociální pracovní zátěže sester pomocí analýzy pracovních podmínek / Evaluation of psychosocial pressure of nursing work by the means of working conditions analysis

JANEČEK, Josef January 2007 (has links)
This analysis is about a psychosocial workload of people working as nurses. The first aim of this analysis was to ascertain if it is possible to identify such a psychosocial workload of nurses. The second aim was to find out if there is a higher psychosocial workload for nurses working at a standard ward or for nurses working at Intensive Care Ward (JIP) and Anaesthesia -Resuscitation Ward (ARO). I have used a SSF questionnaire (Subjective Symptoms of Fatigue) for exhaustive description of that issue. The questionnaire contains 51 questions and was divided into 3 parts. The first part of the questionnaire focuses on appraisal of the psychosocial workload concerning the assessment of working conditions. In the second part I have focused on the assessment of the workload of nurses and the third part surveys tiredness of nurses. I have addressed nurses working at FN Plzeň (Teaching hospital in Pilsen), regional hospital in Příbram and hospital in Stod. I have surveyed nurses working at a standard surgery ward, standard internal medicine ward, surgery Intensive Care Ward (JIP), internal Intensive Care Ward (JIP), and Anaesthesia -Resuscitation Ward (ARO). My research demonstrates the fact that there exists a psychosocial workload for people who are working as nurses. It has also proved the hypothesis that the psychosocial workload for people who are working as nurses can be identified. The results of this research have also shown the fact that nurses working at a standard ward suffer from lower psychosocial workload than nurses working at Intensive Care Ward (JIP) and Anaesthesia -Resuscitation Ward (ARO). It is obvious that nurses working at Intensive Care Ward (JIP) and Anaesthesia -Resuscitation Ward (ARO) suffer from a higher psychosocial workload. On the other hand I have to add that some differences of the results describing work of nurses working at a standard ward and nurses working at Intensive Care Ward (JIP) and Anaesthesia -Resuscitation Ward (ARO) are not so striking in some graphs.

Výskyt obezity v dětské populaci a probkémy s tím spojené / Prevalence of Childhood Obesity and Associated Problems

SLAVÍČKOVÁ, Klára January 2011 (has links)
Obesity is a major concern not only of the Czech Republic, but of all developed countries of the world. It is therefore a global pandemic, against which it is necessary to introduce effective measures. According to epidemiological studies, the countries of Central and Eastern Europe are among the states with the highest prevalence of obesity. In most European countries, the prevalence of obesity in women is higher than in men, by about 3-6%. But a big issue is childhood obesity, which predisposes individuals to obesity also in adulthood. This results in an increased risk of premature morbidity and mortality due to complications of obesity. In obese children the risk of musculoskeletal diseases and cardiovascular and respiratory systems is increased. Obesity often leads to disorders of sexual development, skin complications and changes in the psyche. According to the World Health Organization, there are about 43 million overweight or obese children in the world. The treatment of childhood obesity is not simple. It is necessary to establish a long-term strategic plan, based on the lifestyle change focused on nutrition and eating habits, physical activity and strengthening the self-confidence of the child. This diploma thesis was carried out by the quantitative research through the secondary data analysis. The research group consisted of children registered at the general practitioner for children and adolescents, Šárka Mičanová, M.D. The main goal of my thesis was to survey the prevalence of obesity and overweight in children at this selected pediatric office. Four hypotheses were stated for the research. Hypothesis No.1, children with a high BMI at the age of 5 years show the signs of obesity also at the age of 15-17-years, has not been confirmed. Hypothesis No.2, in childhood, obesity originating in alimentation prevails over obesity of endocrinological origin, has been confirmed. The hypothesis that obesity prevalence has increased in recent years has not been confirmed. The last hypothesis presuming that levels of biochemical markers in children with overweight and obesity do not differ from those of children with a normal weight has not been confirmed.

Pojem investor v mezinárodních dohodách na ochranu investic / The concept of investor in international agreements on the protection of investments

Dubovan, Michal January 2011 (has links)
The term "investor" in international investment agreements The aim of this thesis is to explain, compare and evaluate the meaning of investor as one of the key terms used in the area of international investment protection. From a systematic point of view, international investment activities are governed by international economic law, which is a sub-discipline of public international law. Foreign investment as a transfer of assets from one country to another in order to generate wealth is a kind of activity known and done since the era of colonialism or even before. The subjects carrying out these operations are called investors. However the framework of international investment protection as we know it today started out when the so called bilateral investment treaties (BITs) became commonly used to protect and promote international investing. These treaties entered into by states as sovereign members of the international community stipulated conditions to protect each other's investors in order to stimulate the flow of free capital over the borders. As mentioned before the term investor inter alia is a fundamental part of each international investment agreement. It specifies the range of subjects that are protected under such treaty and thus entitled to pursue their claims on international level in case of...
