The presented dissertation thesis deals with the use of UV-photochemical generation of volatile compounds (UV-PVG) as a derivatization technique for the combination of high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) detection. Two model elements arsenic and mercury and their compounds were selected for the speciation analysis. The work was divided into several parts that follow. In the first part of the research, the apparatus for the UV-photochemical generation of the volatile mercury compounds and their detection with a new continuum source and high-resolution atomic absorption spectrometer (HR-CS AAS) with an externally heated detection tube was constructed. The analytical method was adapted for use with atomic fluorescence detection with the aim to improve sensitivity of the determination. Furthermore, apparatus for the electrochemical generation of cold mercury vapor with AAS detection was built. The construction of the apparatus was followed by optimization of the reaction conditions (concentration and flow of electrochemical reagents: sulfuric and hydrochloric acid, mobile phase, carrier medium, flow rate of the carrier gas and localization of its introduction), determination of the analytical figures of merit, and comparation of the methods. The aim of the thesis was to develop an algorithm to generate synthetic XML documents to cover the resolution of an XPath query with test cases, with a special emphasis on the ease of configuration. This thesis addresses the problem of automated graphical user interface generation for functional programs. First an analysis of current state in the field of automated GUI generation is performed. Based on the analysis the concept of Functionally Structured User Interface (FSUI) is introduced. Meta-data system for code annotation is then specified for the Clojure programming language and a transformation from this system to FSUI data model is implemented. Finally a graphical layer for displaying the actual interface is implemented in Clojure. Benefits of this approach are demonstrated by proof-of-concept case study.

In the past few years, new standards of telecommunication networks brought new approaches to the internal architecture and introduced new components. One of them is the PCRF server component which manages an allocation of bandwidth for all user devices, therefore, it is a performance sen- sitive application. Yet there are no suitable smart traffic generators for such server and there is no comprehensive study of implementations. Based on the server provided by one of the major Czech telecommunication providers, the traffic generator for real scenarios and performance testing was designed and implemented. In addition, the statistics collection from the server was realized with the use of instrumentation. Both of these parts were put to- gether in the form of testing framework which was used for measurements of the designed test cases. The results from the measurement were evalu- ated and describe the behavior of the server in a real-life utilization and also under heavy load. Based on the evaluation, the provider can improve the server implementation and perform further analysis. The traffic generator can be extended to support more test cases and even reused by different telecommunication providers. 1

Procedural content generation (PCG) is increasingly used to generate many aspects in a variety of games. AI players, both hand scripted or also generated (by AI methods), are used to evaluate this content. Comparatively little effort is invested in using PCG to generate the whole game, including its rules. In this thesis, we use evolutionary algorithms to generate the game rules, its content and the evaluating AI player on a narrow, but flourishing, genre of endless runners - games where the player is constantly running. For this purpose, we have implemented a framework for creating endless runner games. Our approach could provide more efficiency for game designers, explore completely new game concepts in endless runners, platformer games, and be further generalized to other game genres.

Diplomová práce popisuje vývojovou techniku model based design a její použití pro návrh a testování algoritmů. Popis této techniky je proveden na příkladu praktického využití v praxi při vývoji modulu monitorování stavu motoru ve spolupráci se společností Unis. Vývoj v oblasti současné letecké techniky klade velký důraz na monitorování životnosti zařízení. Podle výstupů algoritmu se dají naplánovat preventivní opravy s ohledem na aktuální podmínky opotřebení a provozování. Implementace algoritmů je provedena v prostředí Matlab/Simulink s následným testováním na platformě dSpace

S rostoucím množstvím shromažďovaných a ukládaných dat vzniká potřeba shlukovacích metod, které by se dokázaly vypořádat i s rozsáhlými datovými soubory. Proto se objevuje množství nových algoritmů, vycházejících jak ze statistických přístupů, tak i z oblasti strojového učení. Cílem této diplomové práce je stručně představit dostupné metody shlukové analýzy a zhodnotit jejich silné a slabé stránky při analýze velkých souborů. Obsahem teoretické části je shrnutí základních pojmů a principů, které jsou všem metodám společné, a popisu nejznámějších metod shlukové analýzy. Ten obsahuje stručné vysvětlení, na jakém principu fungují a jaké výhody nebo případné nedostatky můžeme při jejich použití očekávat. Praktická část práce je věnována vlastnímu testování osmi metod dostupných v komerčním (SPSS, S-PLUS, STATISTICA) nebo akademickém (Weka) softwaru. Pro testování jsou použity umělé soubory se specifickými charakteristikami, které jsem vygeneroval pomocí vlastního algoritmu. Ten je rozšířením Neyman-Scottova procesu a kromě sférických shluků generuje i shluky nepravidelných tvarů. Výsledky potvrzují očekávání vycházející z teoretických předpokladů. Přinášejí však možnost kvantifikace vlivu charakteru dat na vhodnost jednotlivých metod.

This diploma thesis deals with the problem of lead generation using online marketing tools on the example of the specific Comprimato product. This work analyses the state and the environment in which the company is before launching the campaign. The results of the analysis are reflected in the practical part, where the lead generation strategy is described. Also, an economic evaluation of the campaign and recommendations how to improve the campaign in the future is included.

This thesis deals with the problematic of test-data generation for relational databases. The aim of the this thesis is to design and implement tool which meets defined constrains and allows us to generate test-data. This tool uses SMT solver for constraint solving and test-data generation.
