These were crossed and the twenty hybrid obtained were used in experiments conducted in three environments. The resistance to Cercospora zeae-maydis had been evaluated using grain yield (kg ha-1) in the harvest and the severity of gray leaf spot (GLS) at physiological maturation. The data had been submitted to statistical analysis in agreement with Griffing (1956), using the method 3, model 2. In the same experiment it was evaluated the genotype x environment interaction estimated the parameters adaptability and phenotypic stability of the twenty hybrid obtained by the diallel, through the method of linear regression like proposed by Eberhart & Russel (1996). The results revealed significant differences among the treatment factors (GCA, SCA, environments, hybrid and interaction between hybrid and environmets). For the variable gray leaf spot, GCA demonstrated that the best parents were D and E, different from the found for the yield A and B. The SCA indicated that the hybrids AxD, BxE, AxE and BxC, were better, with prominence AxD and BxC because estimated increase in the grain yield with increase of the resistance the gray leaf spot. The great majority of tested hybrids present a wide adaptability and a high phenotypic stability for the grain yield and GLS severity. The use of the hybrids AxD, BxA, BxC and CxB must go on in the plant breeding program / Através da análise dialélica avaliou-se a capacidade geral de combinação (CGC), capacidade específica de combinação (CEC), recíprocos, efeito materno e não-materno para resistência a Cercospora zeae-maydis, com a utilização de cinco genitores (A, B, C, D e E).
