From the presentation of the native notion of embodiment, wich is constituted through everyday practies of its manufacture and the rituals performed in Opy (cerimonial House) this work wants to show how the native people understands the Person notion. / A presente etnografia propõe uma reflexão sobre o significado da concepção de “manutenção da saúde” entre os Guarani-Mbya da Terra Indígena Ribeirão Silveira, localizada no litoral paulista. A partir da apresentação da noção nativa de corporalidade, que se constitui por meio das práticas diárias de sua fabricação e dos rituais realizados na Opy (Casa de Reza), contribuindo, desta forma, para a compreensão nativa sobre a noção de Pessoa.
