Určení teploty vodní hladiny z družicových dat. / Skin surface water temperatures determination in selected lakes and reservoirs from satellite data

Formánek, Tomáš January 2018 (has links)
LAKE SURFACE TEMPERATURE DETERMINED BY SATELLITE IMAGES Abstract The aim of this master thesis is to create a method to determine surface temperature of water in lake Osoyoos (LSWT - Lake Surface Water Temperature). It is necessary to know this temperature in order to make easier decisions in a paradigm of global warming processes. Thanks to LSWT it is possible to make a timeline visualisation of temperature development in years. The first chapter deals with a physical definition of how to get thermal information - the basis of remote thermal sensing is measuring of radiance intensity and it's transformation to brightness temperature. This radiation is not only influenced by atmospheric properties but also by local climatic and meteorological conditions, but it is also influenced by the relief. The thesis seeks to create a method for calculating surface temperature of lake Osoyoos located at Canadian-American border. This calculation is based on data provided by ASTER using a split-window method. The method works with the differences in bands of sensing in order to remove atmospheric influences. This thesis contains several charts, graphs and pictures. The final result of this paper is a map of distribution of lake surface water temperatures. Keywords: Thermal remote sensing, land surface temperature, ASTER, TIR

Fotovodivost, fotoluminiscence a sběr náboje v semiizolačním CdTe a CdZnTe / Photoconductivity, photoluminescence and charge collection in semiinsulating CdTe and CdZnTe

Zázvorka, Jakub January 2016 (has links)
Title: Photoconductivity, photoluminescence and charge collection in semiinsulating CdTe and CdZnTe Author: Jakub Zázvorka Department: Institute of Physics of Charles University Supervisor of the doctoral thesis: prof. Ing. Jan Franc, DrSc., Institute of Physics of Charles University. Abstract: Cadmium telluride and its compounds with zinc are the material of choice in spectroscopic room temperature high energy radiation detectors. The development of the final device is influenced by many parameters, including material impurities and defects, homogeneity and surface preparation. This thesis offers a comprehensive investigation of the detector fabrication process and of the parameters and physical effects influencing the spectroscopic resolution and performance of the detector. Structure of deep levels is investigated through photoluminescence and correlated with other electro-optical measurements dealing with the impact of structural imperfections of the material and their effect. The influence of resistivity and photoconductivity homogeneity on the detector performance is studied through electrical measurement of the charge carrier transport and charge collection of the sample. Obtained results are explained using the Fermi level shift theory and confronted with a theoretical model and calculations. The...

Cenové přepočty v národních účtech / Price calculations in national accounts

Musil, Petr January 2011 (has links)
The aim of this dissertation thesis is to improve price calculation used in the national accounts. The first chapter contains a description of indices and their use in the system of the national accounts. The second chapter is focused on the system of the national accounts especially supply and use tables, which are the basis for the estimate of macro aggregates at the prices of the reference period. The third chapter describes non-market services and their deflation. Output of non-market services is estimated as the sum of related costs. Input method does not allow to estimate productivity and efficiency of their provision. The main part of the chapter is devoted to the description of the developed methodology for deflation of education services in the Czech Republic, which is in line with international recommendations and enables an estimate of productivity. Using the methodology an estimate of the development of education services has been done for the year 2004 and onwards. The forth chapter deals with regional price levels and possibilities of their estimate. The description of the developed methodology as well as estimated price level for 2007 is included in this chapter. Indicators recalculated to the same price level provide quite different view on economic performance and well-being in regions of the Czech Republic.

Kontrola hladiny glykémie sestrou u kriticky nemocných v intenzivní péči / Glycemic level check performed by a nurse in critically sick people in intensive care

Vaňková, Daniela January 2014 (has links)
This thesis deals with the control of blood glucose levels of critically ill patients in intensive care, focusing on hyperglycemia of the critically ill and possible therapy within the competences of nursing and medical staff. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issue of hyperglycemia of critically ill patients from the medical and nursing perspective as well as the issues concerning instrumentation. The first chapter describes briefly the history of insulin, relating to its discovery and introduction into practice. The following chapter describes the concepts of critically ill, intensive medicine, intensive care as well as specific nursing care. Short information about etiology, diagnosis, treatment and complications of diabetes mellitus is described in the third chapter. The following are the chapters, which are more specifically devoted to the issue of hyperglycemia of the critically ill, including chapters on glucose homeostasis of the critically ill, the evolution of blood glucose levels, instrument technique, insulin protocols, insulin therapy, details of insulin therapy in intensive care and on the principles of correct blood collection for the determination of blood glucose levels in the conditions of intensive care. The empirical part of this work contains research on the...

Příčiny změn vývoje vybraných fluviálních jezer Lužnice v profilu Základna / Causation of develpment change of selected fluvial lakes of Lužnice River in profile Základna

Jaček, Matouš January 2018 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate developement of selected lakes in area Základna in upper Lužnice basin. The area of interest is located in nature reservation Horní Lužnice, which extends from state border with Austria to Suchdol nad Lužnicí. This part of the river is very preserved almost without any anthropogenic influence. Eventhough it is the middle part of the river, it has developed floodplain with meandering belt, which is typical for lower parts of rivers. Because of its conditions, this area is very convenient for observing natural spills and studying fluvial lakes, which occure here in huge amount. First part of this work describes characteristic of the study area, fluvial lakes and natural spills and floods in the area. The main second part focuses on research of selected lakes and their developement. During several field researches the lakes were mapped and measured and soil samples were taken from the lake beds. Furthermore flow in floodplain during river spill was measured and data from automatic surface level sensors were evaluated, which show mutual connections of fluctuations of the lakes and the river. In conclusion the results of measurement were compared with previous theses regarding this area. Main results are that common spills cause clogging of lakes but intense floods...

Cílování cenové hladiny s nedokonalou racionalitou: heuristický přístup / Price Level Targeting with Imperfect Rationality: A Heuristic Approach

Molnár, Vojtěch January 2020 (has links)
Price Level Targeting with Imperfect Rationality: A Heuristic Approach Vojtěch Molnár Abstract The thesis compares price level targeting and inflation targeting regimes in a New Keynesian model without rational expectations hypothesis. Economic agents instead form their expectations using heuristics-they choose between a few simple rules based on their past forecasting performance. Two main specifications of the price level targeting model are examined-the agents form expectations either about price level or about inflation, which is ex ante not equivalent because of sequential nature of the model. In addition, several formulations of the forecasting rules are considered. According to the results, price level targeting is preferred in the case with expectations created about price level under the baseline calibration; but it is sensitive to some model parameters. Furthermore, when expectations are created about inflation, price level targeting over time loses credibility and leads to divergence of the economy. On the other hand, inflation targeting model functions stably. Therefore, while potential benefits of price level targeting have been confirmed under certain assumptions, the results suggest that inflation targeting constitutes significantly more robust choice for monetary policy.
