Rolcová, Lenka January 2010 (has links)
(English) The thesis deals with the knowledge interests and identity of environmental non governmental organization Hnuti Duha (Rainbow Movement). The aim is to identify the ideological concepts, values and interests represented by Rainbow Movement, by using cognitive approach to social movements. In addition, my goal is to thematize cognitive approach to social movements in the Czech Republic. I believe that it offers a valuable perspective for studying social movements, organizations and the civic sector. In the first part, I compiled the theoretical basis. I first concerned with the issues of civil society and NGOs, and then I introduced the cognitive approach and aspects of the environmental movement. In the practical section, I applied the cognitive approach to the analysis of the identity of the NGO Rainbow Movement. I used a qualitative research strategy - an analysis of interviews with employees of the Rainbow Movement. I described the motivation and basic dimensions of knowledge interests (cosmological, technological, organisational) of the Rainbow Movement. I tried to involve the current focus of the organization to influence political processes and to spread a positive vision that is perceived as a positive reform within a democratic society in order to move towards greater discretion...

The first chapter deals with the working conditions of women employed in textile factories and subsequently describes the protest actions of these women in the 1970s. Vývoj hnutí STAROSTOVÉ A NEZÁVISLÍ - od lokálního uskupení po parlamentní stranu / Development of party STAROSTOVÉ A NEZÁVISLÍ - from the local organization to the parliamentary party

Pergl, Tomáš January 2020 (has links)
The Mayors and Independents Movement (STAN) is in many aspects of the Czech party system a specific political entity to which has been paid insufficient attention in the academic sphere so far. Therefore, this diploma thesis comprehensively presents the origin and development of the Mayors and Independents movement in a descriptive form of a case study. Partial research questions aim to assess the degree of institutionalization of the STAN movement from the point of view of the theories of the authors Angel Panebianc or Vicky Randall and Lars Svåsand as well as the placement among the classical typologies of political parties from the point of view of internal party organization. The first part is analytical research focused on internal party processes, organizational settings, mutual relations between stakeholders, membership status and analysis of the structure of the STAN movement. The second part is devoted to the ideological and programmatic definition of the STAN movement, within which, in addition to program documents and attitudes of leading actors, the self-profile of the membership base from the data of the questionnaire survey is examined. Last but not least, the work also deals with relations with other political entities in terms of coalition potential for the formation of...

Srovnání Ligy polských rodin a Palikotova hnutí v kontextu proměn polské společnosti / Comparison of the League of Polish Families and the Palikot's Movement in the context of changes of Polish society

Klapal, Ondřej January 2014 (has links)
The aim of the diploma thesis "Comparison of the League of Polish Families and the Palikot's Movement in the Context of Changes of Polish Society" was to describe activity of the LPR and the RP, to chararacterize their ideology and to find out whether their policies caused changes in opinions of the Polish society on some social issues (abortion, euthanasia, homosexuality and gay rights and involvement of priest in politics) or not and whether these changes caused gain or loss of the electoral support of both parties or not. The analysis of both parties revealed that the League of Polish Families, which was supported by part of the Roman Catholic Church in elections and was against abortion, euthanasia and strengthening of gay rights, is a populist Catholic far-right party (in the sense of the Cas Mudde's definition), and the Palikot's Movement, later Your Movement, which holds opposite positions, can be defined as a liberal movement with populist elements. The analysis of public opinion surveys revealed that the Polish society has tendencies to more conservative attitude during public debate about controversial issues, no matter if "ultraconservative" or "ultraliberal" party succeeds in elections. The analysis also revealed that change (or preservation) of the opinions of the Polish society did not affect...

Korábečný, Martin January 2013 (has links)

Because of the interdisciplinary character of manipulation religion and sociological aspects in new religious movements section and logical, psychological and ethical aspects in manipulative argumentation section have been considered. It was found that the style of the analysed texts and its verbal persuasive devices differ from the field of religious communication only in few aspects from verbal persuasive devices of journalistic communication and that manipulative devices are partly acceptable with regard to the sources and methods involved in the texts, however, the field of quasiargumentation have been found outside acceptability.
