Topic of this thesis is "Relation between European Union law and Czech mining law" and its introduction regards mining, concept of mining law and how European Union law works in general. Next chapter regards what relation human rights has to mining. Main focus of this text is overview of most important legislation of European Union law that influence Czech mining law. These are Directive SEA and EIA, IED Directive, Habitats Directive, Directive SEVESO III, CCS Directive nad Mining Waste Directive.

This diploma thesis deals with the development of the mining law in the Czech Republic. The thesis follows the development from the prehistory until the currently upcoming legislation. In the thesis is further elaborated the present legislation of the mining law, with the emphasis on the interpretation of the basic terminology and institutes that are minerals, mineral deposit, extraction, explosives and more.

This diploma paper researches ecological damage and recultivations before and after 1990. It follows the legislation progress and the financial funding concerning this area, endowment policy and abroad approaches comparism. It is focused on distinct opinions relating to human caused environmental damage slicking. The operative part describes one of the largest middle Europe dump recultivation -- Radovesická dump.

4 Abstract The purpose of the diploma thesis is the analysis of changes in the alpine treeline ecotone with focus on the age structure and cover of the Norway spruce (Picea Abies) in the Giant Mountains in the 20th century. The altitudinal position and the tree density of the alpine treeline ecotone is a sensitive indicator which reflects the human impact as well as the climatic and air pollution changes. Methodical approach included the measuring of the age structure of the Norway spruce by using dendrochronology. In addition the changes of the spruce cover were evaluated from a series of aerial photographs dated 1936, (1953) 1964, 1985 and 2002. Those photographs were orthorectified and classified. The age distribution in the majority of the sample locations is irregular with some prominent peaks that are corresponding to the periods of good conditions and dips pointing out to the periods of disturbances. There is an evident peak during the 30s and 40s which is the same period of the increase of average temperatures of the growing season. On the contrary, depression during the 70s and 80s is detected only in the case of closed-canopy forest. The aim of the thesis was to find out which areas of life of people with hand spasticity may affect the performance of reconstructive surgery. Furthermore, to determine which specific factors involved in the function and dysfunction of the upper limb in people with upper motor neuron syndrome can affect the results of the intervention, and what are the relationships between these factors. The group consisted of 13 people with cerebral type of spasticity. Subjects were examined preoperatively, three months after the intervention, and five months after the intervention. Operations were performed in the wrist-hand and elbow region. Subjects were examined repeatedly by some sensory modality, goniometry, Frenchay arm test, Score for visual evaluation of functional task of the hand, The QuickDASH, modified Ashworth Scale, modified Barthel Index and each person was classified according to The Manual Ability Classification System. There was an elbow contracture release and an improvement in an active motion in the wrist as result of the intervention. COMPARATIVE STUDY OF FLUVIAL LAKES IN FLOODPLAINS OF THE ELBE, LUŽNICE AND SVRATKA RIVERS Petra Havlíková ABSTRACT The aim of the thesis was to specify key differences in chemistry and biota (zooplankton communities) among fluvial lakes in three regions of Czech Republic: "střední Polabí" (central part of the Elbe River on the territory of Bohemia), "Horní Lužnice" (the upper part of the Lužnice River on the territory of Bohemia), and the Svratka River near Milovy (upper part of the Svratka River). The 10 studied lakes of the three regions differ in size, geology, shading, the influence of the river, and the level of anthropogenic impact. The following hypotheses were tested: 1) The chemical composition of the water in fluvial lakes is significantly different in different areas (floodplains). In the central Elbe River floodplain, there are the highest values of conductivity and concentrations of organic matter and nutrients. The intention of my diploma´s thesis was project of new building of wellness hotel located in the cadaster unit of village Horní Bečva. Plot for this building was chosen mild slope. Numbers of these plots are 764/1 and 769/1. Besides of hotel structure, there will be a structure of parking with 26 parking spots. Hotel will offer opportunity for all-seasons accomodation. Hotel guests will be able to visit wellness situated in the 4th floor and restaurant situated in the 1st floor. Restaurant will be allowed also for an external guests. Location for placement of this new building is suitable for this type of building. The hotel is solved as four-storey building. The external and internal loadbearing masonry are created from sand-lime brick of system KM BETA SENDWIX. The floor structures are created as cast-in-place reinforced concrete floors. The building has contact thermal insulation system ETICS. The diploma’s thesis has the form of design documentation for the building process.

RESUMÉ Tato práce se zabývá vlivem teplotních poměrů na intra-anuální růst smrku ztepitélo (Picea Abies (L.) Karsten) na alpínské hranici lesa v Krkonoších ve vegetačních sezónách 2011 a 2012. Monitoring probíhal na dvou lokalitách na jižním svahu Luční hory. První lokalita se nacházela v nadmořské výšce 1310 m n. m., přibližně na horní hranici zapojeného lesa, druhá pak v nadmořské výšce 1450 m n. m., ve stromových skupinkách nad horní hranicí lesa. Mezi lokalitami byl pozorován poměrně vysoký vertikální teplotní gradient jak u teplot vzduchu (1,2 - 1,7 řC), tak u teplot půdy v hloubce 10 cm (0,8 - 1,2 řC). Teplotní rozdíl mezi lokalitami se pak projevil v nižším pozorovaném přírůstu na výše položené lokalitě. Pozorované počátky kambiální aktivity se pohybovaly od 26. 4. do 21. 5. Začátek kambiální aktivity je ovlivněn množstvím sněhové pokrývky akumulované na lokalitách v průběhu zimy a s tím souvisejícím datem jejího odtátí, teplotami půdy a teplotami v přízemní vrstvě atmosféry. Délka kambiální aktivity se pohybovala mezi 55 - 77 dny, přičemž její délka byla nižší na výše položené lokalitě. Diferenciace buněk nastala bezprostředně po počátku kambiální aktivity a trvala od 111 do 132 dní. Topic of this diploma thesis is "The legal protection of the exclusive deposit". Attention in the opening chapters is paid to general issues of mining law. Those general issues include history of mining law, sources of legal regulation and basic concepts. Protection tools of exclusive deposit are also included as a general issue. Those tools are divided in groups as conceptual, administrative and legal and economic tools. The thesis then introduces the most important special protection tools of exclusive deposit used at the various stages of its exploitation. Institute called Exploration area ensures protection of exclusive deposit in stage of searching and exploring. Next special protection tool is Protected deposit area, which is an important instrument of territorial protection of the exclusive deposit. This institute prevents complications with mining caused by construction activities. The following chapter presents the institute of Mining area. Function of Mining area is to protect an exclusive deposit, but it also represents authorization to carry out mining activities. The aim of the thesis was to derive complex information of the current vegetation cover in the alpine treeline ecotone in Praděd Reserve by using remote sensing. Particularly thesis focuses on an area and expansion of dwarf pine (Pinus mugo Turra) at site above the alpine treeline ecotone around the peak Praděd. Two types of aerial photograph from 2000 and 2012 and satellite images from Landsat 7 (yaer 2000) and Landsat 8 (year 2013) were used for mapping vegetation. Supervised and unsupervised classification accesses and also "per-pixel" and objected classification methods were used in image processing. All the classifications confirmed expansion of dwarf pine stands in the alpine treeline vegetation. Most precise method was based on supervised objected classification.
