Ve jménu pokroku: Osudy obyvatel "zmizelého" Dolního Jiřetína. / In the name of progress: Destinies of inhabitants of "disappeared" Dolní Jiřetín.

Kryšpínová, Tereza January 2011 (has links)
This master thesis deals with the story of village of Dolní Jiřetín, liquidated on the beginning of 1980s, and a destiny of its inhabitants who lived in the village until it disappeared. Dolní Jiřetín was one of many villages destroyed in region of Most since World War II because of an expansion of coal mining and chemical industry. However, its liquidation was unique because the village was divided into two parts. The southeast of the village became part of sanitary zone of chemical works in Záluží, the rest of Dolní Jiřetín was undermined by colliery called Centrum. This thesis describes history of the village and life of its inhabitants before the liquidation, especially in time of industrialization boom. The text concentrates on development of both causes of disappearance of the village - brown coal collieries and chemical works in the region of Most. Then it follows the liquidation itself, since preparation through realization to what happened in the village after all the inhabitants left. It shows the process both from the side of institutions which organized the liquidation and from the view of inhabitants of Dolní Jiřetín. In the end the thesis deals with a case of village of Horní Jiřetín which shared some parts of its history with Dolní Jiřetín and today it faces probably very similar...

Title: Analysis of the motion of dominant upper extremity during offensive stroke in badminton performed by elite female players Objectives: Objective of my master thesis is to analyse movement of a dominant upper extremity during offensive stroke in badminton and to point out possible risk factors for injuries and soft tissue overload problems in the region of the upper limb. Methods: The theoretical part deals with anatomical and kinesiological description of upper extremities. Then there is a description of the motion on the court and upper strokes in badminton and movements of upper extremity during the strokes. The practical part deals with measuring of rotations in shlouder joints and with analysis of motion of upper extremity during offensive stroke in badminton. It is focused on measuring the range of motion, angular velocity and angular acceleration in joints of dominant upper extremity. The Xsens MVN was used to record motion. Results: The results showed that the internal rotation in the shoulder joint on the dominant upper limb during active movement examination is reduced in elite female badminton players. When an offensive strike is played, the players come to the extreme inner rotation in the shoulder joint. Next we found out that the risky movement during the offensive stroke is...

Objektivizace poruch jemné motoriky horních končetin u pacientů s vrozenými neuropatiemi / Objectification of disorders fine motor skills of the upper extremities in patients with hereditary neuropathies

Nývltová, Marcela January 2010 (has links)
In the first part of the thesis Objectification of disorders of the fine motor skills of the upper extremities in the patients with hereditary neuropathies there are mentioned some brief informations about characteristics, classifications, clinical symptoms, deformities and testing of upper extremities, rehabilitation and treatment of CMT neuropathy. The practical part of this thesis is concerned with testing and evaluating of strength, fine motor skills and sensation of the upper extremities in the patients with CMT. For the measurement of the hand strenght the dynamometry and the functional muscle test are used. The Jebsen-Taylor test, the Nine-Hole Peg Test and the examination of static and dynamic handgrip rating are used. For the examination of the sensation the Nottingham Sensory Assessment is used. CMT neuropathy score and Overall Neuropathy Disability Scaleare are used for the classification of disability. The aim of this thesis is the comparison of the muscle strength and the function of the dominant and non-dominant hand. Partial aim of thesis is detection of the correlations between tests. According to the results CMT disease leads to the muscle strenght weakness and to worsening of the fine motor skills mainly of the dominant upper extremity. This may be the result of overwork weakness. For...

Extremita odtoku v povodí horní Lužnice / Runoff extremity in the Upper Lužnice catchment area

Musil, Jan January 2015 (has links)
Thesis subject is the evaluation of runoff and flood regime of rivers Lužnice and Skřemelice at the closing profiles just before their confluences. The results are compared with findings from the profile Pilař, which were published in the past by other authors. More attention is paid to the evaluation of the hydrological year 2013 and in detail is described the flood in June of the same year. Daily flow data from the years 1971 - 2014 were used for evaluating of runoff conditions. The assessment of the runoff regime in terms of daily, monthly and annual flows were compared with the runoff regime in Pilař gauge station. The source regions with dominating influence on the resulting runoff were discovered. Analysis of the flood regime confirmed that spring floods in Lužnice came mainly from upland and hilly parts of catchment and large summer floods have main source area in the catchment of Lužnice river itself, before the confluence of the Lužnice river and Skřemelic river. When assessing flood in 2013, the main source areas of flood flows that hit Lužnice river basin were founded. The flood extremity was compared in each closing profiles.

Hodnocení EMG aktivity svalů v oblasti pletence pažního při cvičení s Thera-Bandem ve vodním prostředí a na suchu / Evaluation of EMG Activity of the Shoulder Girdle Muscles during Exercises with Thera-Band in Aquatic Environment and on Land

Holländerová, Dita January 2011 (has links)
Title: Evaluation of EMG Activity of the Shoulder Girdle Muscles during Exercises with Thera-Band in Aquatic Environment and on Land. Objective: The main goal of this thesis is to determine a degree of muscle activity of upper trapezius muscle and other selected muscles in the aquatic environment and on land and to compare the values. Furthermore, to determine whether the upper trapezius muscle activates in the aquatic environment later than on land, compared to other selected muscles. Methods: This is the case of study, where the degree of muscle activity and the onset of activation of the upper trapezius muscle and other selected muscle is analyzed and then evaluated during shoulder abduction in two different environments using elastic resistance strength (yellow Thera-Band). As an objectification method surface electromyography had been chosen. To ensure the same set of initial conditions the abduction was performed in sitting position. The same chair was used in water and on land. Four female participants part in the experiment. Findings: The degree of muscle activity of upper trapezius muscle in the aquatic environment significantly decreased. It wasn't confirmed, that the upper trapezius muscle has been activated later in water than on land. Timing of selected muscles in aquatic environment...

Vliv Vojtovy reflexní lokomoce na pohybový aparát u pacientů s míšním poškozením / Vojta reflex locomotion impact to the locomotor system of the patients with spinal cord

Kohutová, Veronika January 2013 (has links)
The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the Vojta method therapy impact to the muscles function of the upper limbs of patients with tetraplegia. This is a pilot study, which was attended by five probands. To objectify the results, the method of surface electromyography was adopted. EMG activity of 14 muscles of the upper limbs and shoulder girdle during selected movements before and after therapy was recorded. The choice of therapeutic positions and activation zones was individual. Although a few muscles show significant changes, statistically considerable influence of the therapy cannot be confirmed from the obtained results. But from the point of view of clinical observation and patients 'subjective feelings an obvious difference can be seen. Therefore, it may be in the future advantageous to monitor the impact of Vojta method to locomotor system through clinical methods such as functional tests, tests of independence, range of motion or kinematic analysis.

Historická poloha horní hranice lesa v Krkonoších odvozená ze starých map a fotografií / Historical position of alpine timberline in the Krkonoše Mts. derived from antique maps and photographs

Vágner, Tomáš January 2013 (has links)
The purpose of the diploma thesis is the analysis of alpine timberline shifts in the Giant Mountains between 18th and 21st century. The altitudinal position of alpine timberline is a sensitive indicator which reflects human impacts as well as the climatic changes. Methodical approach included the reconstruction of alpine timberlines from the old maps (published in 1765, 1851-52, 1879, 1906) and their comparison with the newer data, which were evaluated from a series of aerial photographs dated 1936 and 2002 (actualized 2005; data provided by supervisor). Data obtained from the old maps and aerial photographs (1936) were compared and verified with old photos and postcards from Giant Mountains. The average altitude of alpine timberline increased during the study period. The increase in elevation of alpine timberline is significant between 19th and first half of 20th century, e. g. in period when the human influence in Giant Mountains decreased. It is concluded that position of alpine timberline in Giant Mountains depended on human influence. Key words: tree line, alpine timberline, human influence, Giant Mountains

Metodika práce ergoterapeuta u pacientů s myoelektrickou protézou / Occupational therapist's methodics of work for patients with myoelectric prosthesis

Hoidekrová, Kristýna January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this study was to develop methodics of occupational therapy for patients with moelectric prosthesis, which is used by patients with amputation of upper limbs as well as patients with congenital problems. In the Czech republic there are no complex methodics about occupational therapy and myoelectric prosthesis, despite the huge mount of foreign studies of this topic. Myoelectric prosthesis uses the principle of sensing myoelectrical signals which are then transformed to the motor output in the terminal portion of the prosthesis. Occupational therapy intervention begins at the preprosthetic phase, the occupational therapist assesses the general potential for the use of myoelectric prosthesis and picks up myoelectric signals from the stump. In interprosthetic phase occupational therapist is dedicated to the training of activities of daily living with myoelectric prosthesis and training residual stump on the basis of myotest. The phase after prosthetic content of occupational therapy evaluation and assessment, which focus on patients ability of myoelectric control and prosthesis involvement in activities of daily living and training of grip. Within the training of grip, occupational therapist is dedicated to training proper grip within the pace, grip strength and targeted movements. The...
