Ichnofosilie spodního paleozoika Železných hor / Ichnofossils from the Lower Palaeozoic of the Železné hory Mts.Doucek, Jan January 2010 (has links)
On five key sites of the Lower Palaeozoic of the Železné hory Mountains (Bačalský rybník, Bačalský mlýn, Palác, Rabštejn and Deblov) the detailed research involving the compilation of schematic lithostratigraphic profiles (exluding site Deblov) was conducted. Individuals of ichnotaxa Zoophycos that have maximum Middle Cambrian age were described on the site Palác. This is the third oldest finding in the world. Ichnotaxa Zoophycos was further described on the site Bačalský rybník, where they are exposed quartz siltstones, the equivalent of the Dobrotiv of the Barrandian area. Ichnofossils abundant in the study area are Skolithos, Pragichnus, to a lesser extend Phycodes and Monocraterion. Skolithos on the site Rabštejn occurs in extreme size (until 90 cm). On the site Deblov community of Skolitos ichnofacies on the area measuring hundreds of square meters were described. There was also performed ichnological imaging which showed proportional representation of each ichnotaxa. Study samples for microprobe showed differences in structure and chemistry of ichnofabrics up filling and surrounding environment.

Modelování množství sněhové pokrývky v malých povodích / Snow water content modelling in small catchmentsNěmečková, Klára January 2010 (has links)
Title: Snow water content modelling in small catchments This work deals with modeling of amount of snow cover, snow water equivalent, respectively, on an experimental catchment in the Jizerské hory Mts. Measuring and modelling of the snow cover is an important part of water management practice from the perspective of reservoir operation and flood management. The first part of this thesis describes physical-geographical characteristics of the Jizerské hory Mts.especially from the climatological and hydrological point of view but also other charakteristics and conditions that may affect the dynamic of snow accumulation and melting are described with detailed focus on the experimental catchment of Černá Desná river - Jezdecká. Two modelling approaches were applied to simulate snow water equivalent (SWE) based on observed precipitation and temperature. Beside the well knowen SNOW17 model a simple method based on heat index was developed in this work and its parameters were calibrated based on measured timeseries of daily average air temperature, daily precipitation and observed SWE for winter periods 2001 to 2009. Both methods provided reasonably accurate estimates of SWE over the tested period, however it was found that the results for winters with extreme conditions (very warm or very cold) are less...

Přechodníky a dialektismy v časopise Krkonoše - Jizerské hory / Transgressives and Dialectisms in Krkonoše - Jizerské hory MagazinePraisler, Jaroslav January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate the developmental dynamics and the current state of two language means found on the periphery of use (not only) in the media - transgressives and dialectisms - in the Krkonoše - Jizerské hory magazine. In the theoretical part, the issue of transgressives and Czech dialects, in more detail the dialect of Podkrkonoší region, is described. The thesis does not systematically address dialectisms that do not meet the criteria of dialect of Podkrkonoší region. Part of the theoretical part is also a short chapter briefly introducing the monitored periodical. The methods used in the practical part are qualitative and quantitative analysis. The transgressives and dialectisms found in the magazine are analyzed in detail in terms of their kind, normality, functional use, or their separation by punctuation marks (only the use of quotation marks in dialectisms). The final chapter then interprets the developmental dynamics of the observed phenomena, including an outline of possible reasons behind the occurrence of the monitored elements on the pages of the monitored periodical at present. So far, the literature has not dealt with the emergence of dialectisms of Podkrkonoší region (and dialectal elements in general) in the media, also for this reason, this work can be...

Vliv přízemního ozonu na vegetaci: vyhodnocení pomocí viditelných symptomů a stomatálního toku ozonu / Surface ozone influence on native vegetation: results based on ozone visible symptoms and stomatal fluxMatoušková, Leona January 2012 (has links)
Regarding the vegetation, the most affected areas by high levels of surface ozone (O3) are the mountain ridges. Our study has been carried out in the Jizerske hory Mts. High O3 levels together with the convenient environmental conditions for stomatal conductance could be a threat for the health of recovering ecosystems in this area. The aims of this study was both to assess the influence of O3 on vegetation in the Czech mountains and to provide recommendations and outlooks for possible future using of relatively new methods (visible symptoms and stomatal O3 flux modelling) used for O3 impact assessment on native vegetation in the field; that means physiologically relevant methods for the determination of O3 influence. During 2006 and 2007, O3-like visible symptoms were assessed on the leaves of seven species at four sites. Symptoms on only two species (Fagus sylvatica L. and Rubus idaeus L.) have been determined as O3-induced. To our knowledge, it is the first study in the Czech Republic in which the O3-like symptoms on native plants have been verified by the Ozone Validation Centre for Central Europe. Our results based on O3-induced symptoms indicate that ambient O3 is likely to have a much lower impact than expected, considering the measured O3 concentrations (measured with passive samplers) and...

Regionální morfologické rozdíly údolní sítě Jizerských hor / Differences in morphology of the valleys in the Jizerské hory Mts.Hložek, Martin January 2012 (has links)
This Master thesis focuses on a river network characteristics in the Jizerské hory Mts., northern Bohemia. This part of the Czech Republic represents an area, which was during Tertiary and Pleistocene affected by neotectonic movements. Therefore, 30 longitudinal profiles of selected rivers were constructed to determine areas influenced by tectonics most intensively. These profiles were classified into four categories according to shape of profile curve. Also valley cross sections were made on five selected rivers. Additionally, the Jizera and Jizerka rivers were studied to assess changes of their streams in the period of 19382012. On the north-western (the Jeřice river catchment) and northern (the Smědá river catchment) slopes of the Jizerské hory Mts., areas most affected by neotectonic movements were detected. Tectonically controlled valley cross sections are distinctive on the Smědá, Jizera and Kwisa rivers. On the Jizerka and Jizera rivers, lateral erosion rate ranges up to 0,5 m/year.

Fungování destinačních společností v Česku: případová studie turistické oblasti Orlické hory a Podorlicko / Function of Destination Management Organizations in Czechia: The Case Study of the Touristic Area Orlicke Hory and PodorlickoŠustrová, Lenka January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the function of regional destination management organizations in Czechia. Destination management organizations are founded to implement destination management at various spatial levels (national, regional, local). In Czechia, the issue of destination management is a relatively new area of research. The aim of this work is to clarify the role of destination companies as one of the regional development actors with an emphasis on the development of tourism. The theoretical base is network theory and the concept of destination governance along with other base of the cooperation of actors in tourism development. For purpose to get a general insight into the situation of destination management in Czechia, the analysis of the regional destination companies is a part of the work. In addition, thesis includes the case study of the tourist area of Orlicke hory and Podorlicko, in which the destination company of the same name operates. The case study includes analysis of strategic documents and annual reports of selected actors, semi- structured interviews with representatives of selected organizations from the region and a questionnaire survey among the members of the destination management organization. All of mentioned methods helped to evaluate the functioning and the...

Vliv vybraných parametrů vod na morfologii žaber sivena amerického a strukturu ichthyofauny Jizerských hor / The effect of selected parameters of stream water on gill morphology of brook charr and the structure of ichthyofauna of the Jizera MountainsHušek, Jiří January 2010 (has links)
The occurrence of ichthyofauna on the territory of the Jizera Mountains (Northern Bohemia, Czech Republic) is limited, besides other factors, by the water chemistry. pH value and pH-related concentration of inorganic monomeric aluminum (Ali) are crucial parameters of the water, determining the survival of fish in streams. Low pH and high concentrations of Ali cause severe damages to fish gills. The thesis deals with the influence of the water chemistry on distribution of ichthyofauna in the Jizera Mts and gill morphology in brook charr (Salvelinus fontinalis), a dominant fish species of the upper plateau of the mountains. The results show that the species diversity of fish in acidified streams is lower than that in streams without meaningful acidic episodes. Histopathological analyses of gills of brook charr individuals from an acidified stream confirm, that low pH values and high concentrations of Ali have a cummulative effect and lead to degenerative changes on gills. Key words: The Jizera Mountains, ichthyofauna, brook charr, gill morphology, water chemistry, toxic aluminium, acidification

Vliv vybraných fyzickogeografických faktorů na průběh akumulace a tání sněhové pokrývky / Effect of selected physical-geographical factors on the snow accumulation and snow meltPevná, Hana January 2012 (has links)
Effect of selected physical-geographical factors on the snow accumulation and snow melt Abstract: This master thesis analyzes the influence of physical-geographical factors on spatial distribution of snow water equivalent, and its evolution. In this work, emphasis is placed on describing the influence of vegetation, aspect and altitude. Measurement was carried out in experimental catchments Zlatý Brook and Bystřice River in western part of the Ore Mountains in winters 2008/2009, 2009/2010, 2010/2011 and 2011/2012. To evaluate the influence of these factors on value of snow water equivalent there was used one of the methods of multivariate statistical analysis - cluster analysis. The research shows that the greatest influence on the distribution and evolution of snow water equivalent in the experimental basins has vegetation and some dependency was proved also between the points of southern exposure. The measurement results demonstrate the suitability of cluster analysis for analyzing the data of point values of snow water equivalent. On the other hand the results showed the main limits of this method, especially the need for a large number of points with different characteristics. The results of measurements and statistical analysis are compared with results published in technical literature. Keywords: snow...
